This is a privately owned, fully furnished three bedroom home with a view deck overlooking the Columbia River in the National Scenic Area, one of the most beautiful areas in the world. Plenty to do nearby, in this Portland-close getaway.
Starting in the Summer Wind Surfing season: Cascade locks is in the middle of some of the finest wind surfing breaks in the world. This is the perfect base camp to explore all the best landings in the Gorge. It is a short 20 minute drive to Hood River, the center of the wind surf universe. In the fall foliage season, there is miles of splendid cruising through mellow countryside. Winter brings snow to the upper level of the area. Consider Mount Hood Meadows, one of the largest ski areas, and Timberline boasts of skiing 345 days a year (several other areas nearby). All this is here for downhill skiing and snowboarding, as well as a multitude of cross country opportunities.
The Pacific Crest Trail crosses the Columbia River here on the Bridge of the Gods. In town is the Cascade Locks Museum and Marine Park. There is several nearby Salmon Hatcheries, Bonneville Dam, numerous State parks, Multnomah falls etc...
This is a spacious 1500 square foot cottage. It has central air and heat. The bedrooms have sleeping for six, a queen in the master bedroom and doubles in the other two bedrooms. There is a washer and dryer and sleeper sofa in the den. Parking for four cars is provided.

There is a cleaning fee of $90.
There is a $500 deposit required to hold reservation and cover damage.
The reservation deposit is refundable up to 30 days before the rental.
