We invite you to escape to Tranquility, Nature and Relaxation. This cozy log cabin is situated on a cul-de-sac surrounded by Georgia Pine trees giving you the feeling of complete privacy, but only minutes from state parks, historic sites, golf courses, Lake Richard B. Russell and Lake Hartwell. The cabin is available for nightly (2 night min.), weekly or monthly rental. Lake Russell (26,500 acres) touts 'world class bass' fishing; a new 7000 yard fully sodded golf course, Arrowhead Pointe, is only one mile away at R. B. Russell State Park.
Nearby communities offer history and convenience in a small town atmosphere, with everything from antiques and marine supplies to fine dining, coffee shops and live bluegrass music at The Depot in Hartwell. We are an easy drive from Atlanta, Athens, Augusta and Greenville, South Carolina.
The floors are rustic top-nailed white pine with ceramic tile in the two master bathrooms and utility room. The kitchen is fully furnished with top of the line appliances (glass top stove, microwave, double door refrigerator with icemaker and dishwasher).

My husband and I stayed in the cabin for the weekend to golf and mountain bike ride in the 3 State Parks which are 5,25,and 45 mins away. The parks are hidden gems!! The cabin was great! Susan and Gabi were very easy and helpful to work with. The only downfall( in my opinion) is the towns around are not that cute and if your looking for cute shops and good dining there are none!! We will be back because there wasn't time enough in one weekend to get it all done in the stateparks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This is the perfect vacation get-away if you want peace & quiet. The setting is ideal for relaxation. We enjoyed the addition of the firering for evening bonfires. The Red Minnow Lighthouse in Elberton has a nice all-you-can eat seafood buffet Friday & Saturday evenings. Owners are great to work with and very accomodating.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My family and I were in Elberton for My neices wedding at the Stae Park on March 28 2009. we enjoyed our stay at your cabin,as it was close to Athens and all the family. We entertained on Friday evening at the cabin as it rained everyday we were there but we didn't let that spoil all the family celebrations. Thank you a cozy place to stay. Owner added from e-mail: Thank you so much for allowing us to stay there. Everything was so nice and convenient. It was better than home away from home. I was glad to see the cabin was even better than the pictures online represented.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Susan, you certainly have a lovely place. We enjoyed our month in Georgia - visited many historical landmarks, shopped and golfed. Ashley's and Bourne'sDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful cabin. we has a peaceful time and would like to come back in the future. I have a couple of suggestions for the cabin to benefit all future tenants; clock in the living area, alarm clock, big pot (dutch oven) for the kitchen. Again, thanks very much, Paul & Lisa JonesDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
