We couldn't have had a better experience with this property and the owners. The house was well stocked, clean and very inviting. The owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions that I had. We were up for a graduation and hosted a fantastic barbeque on the deck that was very well received! I've kept the information so that we can come back again! You will love this house and the location!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just wanted to let you know that we had an amazing time at your rental! We got so lucky to get all that snow this weekend and the kids spent hours sledding down the driveway! The house accommodated all of our needs! It was wonderful! We also took one of your recommendations for restaurants and ate at Pasto Cucina, it was a great restaurant and we would certainly recommend it to any other guests! We are going to keep your rental on our list for the future! I really appreciate all the time you took to suggest restaurants and just the courteous communication prior to our arrival. We hope we left the house how you expected, we tried really hard to make sure everything was back in it's place! Thank you very much! Please let us know if there were any problems or if you have further questions! Have a great week!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

5 couples stayed here in October. The only issue that we had was that it's 4 bedrooms, along with a very comfy Murphy bed in office. Everything else was top notch..upscale decor, everything you need in kitchen &bedrooms. Owners were very helpful. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: The "Playroom" is the fourth bedroom upstairs with a couch pull-out bed and a closet. Each bedroom is described in the listing so there are no surprises. Downstairs has a second master bedroom with bath and the "Office" that is the murphy bed with just storage on the sides of the bed. But there are six private bedrooms.

We recently stayed at this home in Flagstaff and absolutely loved our stay. The house is very well appointed and decorated with a lot of love and attention to detail. Unlike other homes that we have vacationed at before, every bed in this house is very stable and the mattresses are very comfortable. The home is very spacious and with its 5 bedrooms, it is ideal for larger families. One of the best features of the house for us was the playroom. Our toddler loved the playroom so much that she is asking when we are going back to Flagstaff. Thank you Brigitte and Clark for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We drove from California and grandparents from Wisconsin to visit our son over family weekend. The house made the trip great! There were 7 adults and one 3 year old. The playroom is amazing and our grandaughter loved it! The master upstairs is large and comfortable. There's a second master downstairs witha private bath. The other 2 bedrooms have a crib in each room along with a queen bed. There's a Murphy bed in the office downstairs. Having the large kitchen stocked with cooking supplies made it so easy. We all enjoyed the BBQ, the deck, and the spaciousness of the living area. Very comfortable home. I only have one complaint, there was NO Internet service! This was misleading and we were very disappointed as many of us had work to do, etc. we called the owner and they said a storm had knocked out the service and they decided not to reinstall it because of the cost, ugh! Wish we would have known ahead of time. Overall the house is lovely, but we were expecting internet service and were disappointed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: We do apologize for your inconvenenice. The internet was not terminated because of cost but because it was not up and working most of the time. The company that took over service from the previous provider was awful. And when people expect internet, like the football fantasy party, and it is down and not available it was a problem. And being two hours away made it more challenging to deal with. With the new provider our fax would not work due to incompatible ring tone, the computer was painfully slow, so slow I could not even open a work document. We schedule repair 3X and they never sent the right type repair serviceman even after lengthy conversations or would call the house number when they arrived though the service was down. We just gave up and removed the amenity from the listing. Most people have cells, ipads, isps for their laptops.

I did not see the link as stated in this email however I am happy to report that our stay was even better than we anticipated. Your place is awesome. It is nice to have so much room, space, bedrooms etc to accommodate all of us. The playroom was a hit with all the kids and adults as we could take turns spending time with the little ones and there was so much for them to play and do. I cant think of one thing to improve upon except possibly the ice maker had trouble keeping up with us but I really think that was just so many people and we never did run out. The barbecue worked fantastic--I was the designated griller--and the gourmet kitchen was splendid as each night a different team of our family would fix everyone dinner. We have stayed at around 5-6 different VRBO properties over the last few years and by far this is the best value for the money, based on square foot. Keep up the good work! If we dont go to the beach next year we likely will try to grab a week in July again or possibly might even try getting some time around the Thanksgiving-Christmas holidays.Did you find this review helpful? This was our first stay at a rental home in Flagstaff. We typically choose hotels, but with multiple families up for a reunion this home seemed like the perfect fit. And let me tell you, it was! We wish we could have stayed longer than 3 days, 2 nights. Pulling up for check in on the first day, we saw this gorgeous home exactly as pictured with the inviting front porch, amazingly well groomed lawn and we couldn't wait to get inside. Because we have kids, their first thought was, "Where is the play room?" Well, it was pure joy for our little ones because there were toys for all ages, games, movies and a way cool corner curtained off secret hideout area. They had so much fun playing together in this safe and clean and colorful room. We had plenty of space for the adults to sleep comfortably as well and our 10 month old daughter who was able to sleep peacefully in one of the two cribs provided. There is a big, beautiful deck and outdoor BBQ, a jaw dropping stone fireplace, and a huge kitchen that would accomodate any family chef (all of which we didn't have time to use due to our short stay and wish we could have.) The owners were so thorough with directions and instructions that there were no hiccups in our weekend escape. We are all so pleased and thankful to this family for sharing their home, for making our stay a relaxed and carefree one, and for living up to and exceeding all of our expectations for a rental home. I highly recommend this home and these owners. Go, get away to Flagstaff. And when you do, you must do two things. Eat at Beaver Street and make sure you stay at the Box Canyon Mansion. You won't be dissapointed.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house was well appointed and so much more relaxing to come back to in the evenings after spending the day at local sites. It felt more like coming home than back to a vacation rental property. The central location in Flagstaff of the home was ideal as the number of things to do within an hour of the house was more than we could even get to in the time we stayed. We visited the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Lowell Observatory, and Walnut Canyon, to name a few. With 7 adults and 5 kids (14 and under) it still did not feel crowded and everyone had a private place to go to if they wished. The park was a short walk away, as well. Everyone was very pleased with this location and we would certainly select this house again should we stay in the Flagstaff area again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: We are in real estate and we love to get away from the hustle and bustle. Flagstaff is so perfect. Two hours away from Phoenix. There is hiking, biking, skiing, sledding, great weather to ride our motorcycles. We found this great lot that offered a friendly neighborhood, scenic views, privacy and close proximity to everything. We designed and built this wonderful home in 2002.
Why the Owner Chose Flagstaff:
We built this home with the intention of relocating to Flagstaff. We love this home and have spent lots of time there, but with our kids now in sports and games on the weekends, we are getting up to Flagstaff less and less. That is when we decided to share our home with you. Flagstaff is a wonderful place visit summer, fall, winter or spring. Enjoy!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Close to the Pullium airport. US Airways flys into and out of there. (You do not even know you are near the airport from our home--they fly in/out to the south.) Jogging/walking trails. Quiet and relaxing. This area of town has the most restaurants, stores, horse races, fairgrounds, NAU, close to entrance to 89A to Sedona and Fort Tuthill Country Park grounds.
