Our community was conceived with easy, fun living in mind and features great restaurants, pharmacy, hairdresser, fitness center, and even a supermarket all a short walk from your door. Enjoy two swimming pools, tennis courts, and bike and running path (maybe even a free movie or concert at the gazebo).
The house is huge and the three story layout allows for maximum quiet and privacy. Even the family room has doors to keep a loud TV(flat screen!) from interrupting a midday nap. But the house’s best features are it’s large gathering spaces, perfect for family reunions or friends vacationing together. The attractive first floor living/ dining area with separate bar area looks out on a pond and fountain and is perfect for family relaxing or entertaining friends. In the rear, the fully equipped kitchen occupies the whole width of the first floor. With its island and table for or more it could be the scene of many happy meals- home cooked or not (some of our local restaurants have free delivery within the community). High Speed wifi throughout the house has been added.
On the second floor is the spacious family room with fireplace. It has two big comfy couches (one of which is a queen size sofa bed) a reading chair , TV and game table. In the front, there are two bedrooms, each with two twin beds which can easily be pushed together to make a king size bed. There is also a large bathroom with double vanities and a separate laundry room with full sized washer and dryer.
Two large bedrooms are on the third floor entered through two French doors. Each bedroom has three windows, flat screen TV's, cable TV and WIFI. The wide landing separating the rooms has two very large walk in closets and a bath with separate shower and bath as well as double vanities . This floor also has it’s own air conditioning system.

The house was a perfect location and very quiet considering Lewes was quite busy this weekend. There was tons of space and yet still had a nice, cozy feel. There were even plenty of board games to keep us entertained on a rainy day. It was great place for a long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Lewes and were extremely happy staying in this comfortable, well-outfitted condo with lots of space to spread out. The condo was accurately described in the listing and Diane was very easy to work with, responding to our questions in a very timely manner. The grandkids (5 & 7) loved the pool which was super for them as they are not proficient swimmers. There is a large semi-contained area that is a consistent depth of about 3 ft on the one side of the pool.... lots of room for lap swimming, etc on the other side. They also loved warming up in the kiddie pool. The drive to Henlopen State Park was very easy - consider getting an annual pass online to facilitate your trips to the ocean beach. Touch of Italy, right in 5 Points, has wonderful bread and Danish while Surfing Crab, just north on Hwy 1, is a fun place to have crab. All in all, this condo is a great vacation rental.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thank you, Diane, for allowing us to stay in your lovely townhouse! The house was meticulously clean, comfortable, and had all the basics we needed for a wonderful week in Lewes. We really appreciated having the beach chairs available to help us relax on the Lewes beach while the kids dug in the sand. The pool is such a terrific amenity - we spent every afternoon there. We also had a great time on some quick excursions: shopping at the outlets; biking around Cape Henlopen park (bikes available to borrow there for free); kayaking and a small water park at Killens Pond State Park; birdwatching at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge (bring strong mosquito repellant), and then coming back to that pool (yes, even after the water park)! Loved stopping at the many farm stands along Route 1 for fresh, locally grown fruit & corn too. Very nice stay, thanks for giving us such a nice, easy home base to enjoy for the week.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thank you Diane for allowing us to share your beautiful townhouse in Lewes. It is a lovely home, very spacious and the location was simply perfect! We were within walking distance to whatever we needed. The children loved that the pool was just out the front door and down the street. We all loved that it was a salt water pool. We had never experienced that before. The family room was so cozy and a great place to hang out, play games, read books or watch television. We all loved Second Street...especially the toy store! The Pirate Expedition was a big hit with all of us. None of us minded getting wet! Thank you again for a wonderful week and we would definitely visit you again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this townhouse right outside of downtown Lewes. There were 4 adults and 3 kids and the house was plenty large enough to give everyone their own space and privacy. The 2 rooms on the 3rd floor are very large and each have a flat screen TV. The kitchen had everything we could need and we did cook most of our meals there. We enjoyed the bike/walking path around the neighborhood, as well as the community pool. Since we had small kids with us, we really loved going to the beach at the bay in Lewes. It never gets too crowded, there is always parking available and the adults can relax a little more knowing that there are no large waves. Some great restaurants in downtown Lewes: Kindle (for happy hour) and Half Full for excellent flat bread pizza and wine! Rehobeth and Funland were just a 15 minute drive away from the house as well. All in all, a great time was had by all. If you want to stay away from the crowds, Lewes is definitely the place to vacation. Diane was also wonderful to work with - always emailing us back within a few hours when we had questions. This was the first week long vacation that we have taken in years and it could not have been more perfect. The Five Points neighborhood is a great place to stay--walk to the store, restaurants, and frozen yogurt shop. There is also a walking trail that we enjoyed every morning and we met quite a few friendly people along the way. The house is only a five minute drive to Lewes Beach, which is a great beach for families with small children. As far as accomodations, this house is spacious, comfortable, and clean. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a great Delaware beach experience.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home, Diane. It was really nice and comfortable, had everything we needed, and gave everyone room to spread out. The location was perfect too - a quick ride into Rehoboth or historic Lewes. After a day out, it was always nice to come "home" to Lewes where it was relaxing and quiet. We did Cape Henlopen State Park a couple times as well as a trolley tour and lunch in Lewes at Jerry's Seafood. We also spent some time (and money) at the Rehoboth outlets and the boardwalk. A local gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation for seafood - the Big Fish Grill. Also, be sure and check out the Clear Space Theatre Co on Baltimore Ave near the boardwalk if you are a fan of live entertainment. We got to see a movie outside on the village green on Thursday which was a treat too after dinner at The Green Turtle which we were able to walk to from our townhouse. Communication with the owner was excellent and the home was spotless! I hope we have a reason to come to Lewes again, because I would love to stay in this townhouse again.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

This home was spotless! Clean, comfortable, close to everything! Lots of room for the entire family. Great eat in kitchen, large comfy family room. Walk to the pool and to the shops. Two minutes to the beach and downtown Lewes. Great location! A couple of friends and I rented this home for our first ever mother/daughter trip and it was absolutely amazing! It's proximity to beaches; shopping and dining is fantastic! There are even restaurants in the development, so we could walk to dinner. The home itself is breathtaking. The large open eat in kitchen is great for gathering while cooking dinner and the second floor family room is huge! The pictures don't do the house justice. The owner was very pleasant and easy to work with and the rates can't be beat. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a vacation home that is away from all the noise in Rehoboth but wants to be close to everything. It was so quiet and peaceful. I will definitely rent this home again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Probably the best appointed and most comfortable beach area house we've stayed in. Very clean, with wonderful amenities, pool, tennis, lots of space. We will definitely come back next summer. Highly recommended. BBRecommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

About the owner: Hi, We love Lewes as we know you will. We love to vacation with friends and family and many of our friends and whole family consider it their second home too. Originally from Pennsylvania, we live in the Wahington, DC area now.Our dream is to retire here eventually.
Why the Owner Chose Lewes:
We have chosen Five Points as the most carefree, friendly and convenient place to be. Living in the Washington, DC area we have had our share of commuting and therefore love the ability to walk to everything we need. At the same time, the location close to the ferry,golf courses, Henlopen State Park and Rehoboth with it's shopping, boardwalk, outlets, water park make it a short hop to entertainment.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
It's so nice not to have to get in the car to have a great meal after a hot,active day. Diane loves the large living room, kitchen and family room for celebrating being together and Bob appreciates the three story layout. It gives him a chance to wake early and see the sun rise over the ocean or go fishing and then take a nap in the afternoon without being disturbed by the kids. Being on separate floors does seem to help the cousins settle down at night and gives us some grown up time downstairs.
