    I can't say enough about this wonderful vacation home!! My husband, brother and I visited for a week and it was one of the best vacations we have ever had! The owner of the home, Pat, was so lovely to rent from from the moment we booked the house to the moment she greeted us at the door on arrival. She was genuinely excited for our trip and took a short amount of time to show us the ropes and make sure we were all set before she left us to enjoy our stay. She even had a few special surprises for us. ;-) The home itself is very very clean and organized. The furniture, bedding, towels, and amenities were all high quality and you felt much more pampered than you would in a hotel or resort. The pool and hot tub were both very clean and just awesome to have at our leisure. The lanai area is very private so you feel like you are all alone to just sit back and relax. Pat and Charles have really thought of everything that a guest might enjoy on vacation and have supplied it for your use. We played badminton in the pool, ping pong on the patio, and relaxed in the cozy lounge chairs. The beach is a short, convenient walk away - as Pat says, just "steps away from the beach". It was so nice to have the option of the pool at the house or the beach at our back door. The house is beautifully landscaped and located in a beautiful, peaceful, neighborhood. There are bikes to ride around on, and there is a new mini golf course a block away. There are also many great restaurants and grocery stores conveniently located nearby. We loved this vacation home so much. We recommend it for any type of family, whether a couple or a family with children. Just don't book it when we want to return. :-) Thank you Pat and Charles!!!!     Pat and Charles offer a truly wonderful vacation home. They were both very helpful in answering all our initial inquiries prior to booking and Pat was there to personally greet us on arrival and show us all the amenities and the local beach. Pat is very friendly and will answer any questions you have. It is a lovely home and is bigger than we thought from looking at the photos. Everything was very clean and tidy and we loved all the amenities that were provided. Inside the garage was everything we needed for our daily visits to the beach ,such as the ice coolers, beach buggy, chairs, parasols, toys and towels. The bikes were great and we toured the island. Inside the house was spacious and provided everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we found the beds and pillows really comfortable. The beach access is only a short walk away and the pool and jacuzzi were a big hit with everyone, especially our children. The pool area provides a nice place to rest and relax after a day on the beach. We liked the outdoor music system too. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We liked Capt. Brian's Seafood Bar and Da Vinci's Italian restaurant. One day we drove 30 minutes into The Everglades for an airboat tour, I recommend Everglades City Airboat Tours, great service, we then drove a few miles down the road and saw alligators in the river at Big Cypress National Preserve. The people at the Airboat company will give you directions. Overall a fantastic vacation experience with wonderful memories and we will be returning next year. Thank you Pat and Charles!

    We love Marco! We love the beach, the quietness of the island, the hospitatlity in the shops and the variety of restaraunts. We have been lucky enough to experience all this charm by renting from Pat and Charles three years in a row. We adore Pat; so easy to work with and so gracious! We enjoy their clean home. It has all the amenities and it is just a short walk across the street to the beach. The pool and hot tub are awesome in the evenings and having dinner on the grill is a nice treat. The bikes are fun for tooling around the island. We always enjoy our stay and hope to have the opporutnity to stay again next year! Thanks for another great year!

    We spent a wonderful Xmas and New Year at this property. The property is as described in the listing. It is spacious, well maintained, clean and was well stocked with essentials on our arrival. Pat and Charles met us when we arrived and showed us the basics of the house. Pat then walked over to the beach with us and pointed out all the stuff we could enjoy. The pool and hot tub were terrific. The ping pong table was a treat. We were a group of six and there was plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed having our dinners out on the deck near the pool with music from the ipod we plugged into the stereo that was there. We also used the bikes provided a number of times. There are lots of places to eat out nearby and two big grocery stores that are a few minutes drive away. All in all this was a great rental. The owners are terrific, the house is fabulous and the proximity to the beach is perfect. If you wanted a relaxed vacation this is for you.

    This was our second time booking this property and it will not be our last. This house is so perfect and truly seems to have one of the best locations! It is walking distance to the beach and so many shops and restaurants (our new favorite is Davinci's). We also enjoyed pizza from the Italian Deli, and we love going to the Rose Marina Ship's Store. We rented a boat from there last year and this year we just bought clothing (the staff is very friendly). This is an amazing property with wonderful amenities. We feel so smug when we take the provided beach chairs down to the beach for the sunset just as the hotels and time share properties are kicking their guests out of the beach chairs that they rented for the day. We absolutely love Marco Island, love this property, and love Pat and Charles for being so welcoming and so wonderful to work with. Thanks again!!

    We have been so busy with the daily grind since our very first ever stay in Marco Island this past September, that we have been remiss in getting our review on the site. We would highly recommend a stay at this home. From the moment we arrived in the house, we knew it was the best decision for accomodations over any hotel or condo! Our teenage daughter was the first to see the welcome note from the owners in magnets on the refrigerator and she thought that was great. Having our own private hot tub, pool bicycles, beach chairs, towels and ping pong table kept my son very happy as well. We enjoyed the less hectic season during the month of September. It made for easy dining and driving as we were able to check out Naples and the outlets near the airport. The jetski tour at the beach and the air boat tour were well worth it. The house was in immaculate shape and the layout and location ideal for young and old. Thanks again for the hospitality and would love to say we could get down South from NY state again some time soon- it was a great family trip!

    We stayed on Marco Island in July 2012 and were so lucky to have found this property. Everything was as decrbied in the listing and more. The house is beautiful, so wonderfuly decoracted and had everything you needed. We especially enjoyed the bikes for riding around the beautiful island. The beach is only a short walk with easy access and has blue green water, tons of shells and lots of room to explore. Pat made us feel instantly welcomed and has taken the time to enusre your holiday is off to a great start. The most wonderful part is having an oasis in your backyard which made it hard to leave and we now have to explain to our 8 year old why a pool is not so practical in Canada with our winters. There is lots to do and explore and make sure you take the time to try out the fishing or head to the everglades for an adventure. We also drove into Miami for the day to catch a ball game as it is less than 2 hours away. We are keeping alll our wonderful memories and hope in the future to be able to return.

    Marco is Paradise! This was our second year staying at Pat and Charles home on Marco. We simply could not wait to return and working with Pat is such a joy. We love the house, pool, spa, grill, bikes, beach chairs, etc...the list goes on. The house is perfect and in the perfect location! We only hope that we can return next year and rent yet again. Thanks to Pat and Charles we have many fond family memories in their home and on Marco!

    We absolutely loved the week we spent in paradise and need to thank Pat and Charles for sharing their beautiful home with us. The property itself was simply stunning. It was extremely clean and so very well cared for. Combine that with all the special details like placing drawer freshener sachets in the dressers, the towels and bed linens smelled wonderful, there was ample closet space with plenty of hangers and the kitchen had everything we needed to make great meals right at home. We felt like we were being pampered every moment we were there. Pat was a delight to work and it was great to finally meet her when we arrived. Her energy is addicting and she was truly happy to share her home with us. She gave us a quick tour of the property and showed us just how easy it was to get to the beautiful beach before she departed. Details: We did most of our grocery shopping at Winn Dixie and purchased fresh seafood at the Paradise Fish Market. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning and enjoyed dinner there almost every evening because we love cooking and frankly, we didn’t want to leave! We did venture out for lunch a few times and enjoyed: CJ’s on the Bay, The Little Bar in Goodland and the Crazy Flamingo. We also picked up sandwiches at the Italian Deli so we could enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach. If you are up for a party, Stan’s Idle Hour in Goodland has a band, drinks, food in an outdoor setting on Sundays. We stopped in for a short time and the place was just packed, but it was a very fun environment. We went out for dinner one night (DaVinci’s) and the food was very good, but the restaurant was busy. We decided it was much nicer to make dinner at home or pack a picnic and bring it down to the beach to watch the most beautiful sunsets. So relaxing! The only way to describe the beach is that is was simply glorious! We went for walks on the beach each morning and did our fair share of sea shell hunting! Our biggest adventure was to walk to Tigertail beach a couple of times. It was a long walk, but it was so worth it. Not many people make the trip to the very end of Tigertail beach and they are missing out. We saw dolphins, an eagle, pelicans diving for fish and other fun birds. The combination of the beautiful blue sky, blue/green water and white sandy beach is something we never want to leave our memoirs – simply beautiful! Thank you again Pat and Charles! We enjoyed our time in paradise and hope we are able to return.

    Wonderful property with everything you need and more! Such a great location....just a few minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. I, especially, enjoyed spending a few hours on the beach then relaxing the rest of the afternoon in the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, I only had a long weekend while visiting my parents....my only regret is that I didn't make my stay longer!

    Like everyone has already written,there are so many good things to say, and we certainly can attest to that. These retired Delaware snow birds stayed for 2-months, "lucky us! We were fortunate indeed to have found this "gem" which suited us on every level: relaxing, convenient, very clean just to mention a few of the pluses this property offers. Big hits were the sunny lanai, the pool and hot tub and of the bikes which the guys made good use of. Thank you Pat for being so accommodating, thoughtful and responsive. As Arnold would say "we'll be back" in 2013. In fact we already booked.

    This house offers so much! It is VERY close to the beach and the nice "backpack chairs" and available coolers make the short trip to the beach even easier. The pool and spa are wonderful, but it is the other little things that make this house so special. It is the well cared for bicycles, the ping pong table, the televisions and DVD players, the easy access to music that make it a trully remarkable find! Then you add in a wonderful owner/host in Pat and all the things she did to make the stay comfortable and easy for us, like having soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. already at the house and you realize you could not ask for a better place to stay! This place is a treasure! Highly recommended!!!

    This house met all of our expectations and more. We stayed at the home for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had plenty of room for my wife and I, two children and my in-laws. The hot tub was very nice and we took the bikes out for a ride every day. The location is very convenient to the beach and there is really no need for a car. Everything is within walking distance. We can't wait to return. The house was extremely well-maintained and Pat, the owner, is very nice and easy to work with. We highly recommend this property.

    This home proved to be a perfect base for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable vacation - exactly what we'd been looking for. The house turned out to be even better and cleaner than the listing incl. pics had suggested. We've rented w/ homeway.com/vrbo.com before, both in the old country and in the US, and I'm very happy to say that this has been quite easily the nicest home so far. Needless to say, the owners were not only accomodating but a pleasure to work with too. We highly recommed this home to anyone who's looking for a tastefully decorated and immaculately clean dwelling on Marco Island. PS: Our five-year-old insists that I explicitly mention the "cool pool" he spent 25 hours in every day.

    This home has absolutely everything you could ask for in a vacation retreat -- truly 'just steps away from the beach', it is super clean, beautifully and comfortably decorated, has a lovely pool and hot tub and loads more in amenities, not to mention cool bikes! More impressive is the professional and ever-thoughtful owner, Pat! She was a dream to work with, from the initial phone call to the immediate deposit return.     My husband and I both agreed that this one was one of our favorite vacations to date and it was largely due to this wonderful property. Everything was just as listed - the owners are fabulous to work with, the house was very clean, the pool and hot tub were AMAZING, and it was so CLOSE to the beach! We loved being able to start each day off with a swim in the pool before heading to the beach. The location is very quiet and very peaceful, just what we were looking for. We were a little concerned with what weather we might find in September, but in 7 days we only had one full day of rain. The suns just seems to always shine upon Marco! This was our first time to Marco Island and it won't be our last, and we will definitely rent this home again. It was a home away from home and it was very difficult to leave.

    This vacation home is so wonderful. It has everything you need and them some! The owners are very easy to work with and they are very nice people and have made their rental home a home away from home. You are so close to everything, you can walk to the beach and they provide bikes so you can have a nice ride and shop!!!!!!!! We had so much fun and we will be back again next year.     This has by far been our best experience with VRBO. The house was spotless and had all the amenties listed and more! Pat was a true joy to meet and takes great care of the home. The home sits right across the street from the beach. The bikes were a blast. The kids enjoyed having ping pong competitions each night. We were a bit concerned that it may be very hot as we went in July, but the island has a cool breeze most of the time, and with the exception of one evening, we were never uncomfortably hot! The beach is fabulous... wide, white sand with spectacular sunsets! We would definitely rent from Pat and Charles again!

    If you are looking for a vacation rental on Marco Island then look no further because this place is spectacular! My wife and I just spent a week in this magnificent Marco Island home with our 2 daughters (ages 5 and 2). Words cannot adequately describe just how wonderful our week long vacation was, largely in part because of this beautiful home that we stayed in. The homeowners, Pat and Charles, were absolutely wonderful to work with. When I began researching Marco Island rentals about 1 year ago, I was originally looking for a beachfront condo, but just could not find exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental. After reviewing the "private homes" section on VRBO, we decided to rent a house rather than a condo. We narrowed our search down to a very short list and emailed our interest to the owners of each home. The moment we received a response from Pat we knew that we had found our vacation home. She was so accomodating and helpful and we could tell that she genuinely cared about making our vacation as easy and stress-free as possible. The VRBO description and pictures of the home just doesn't do it justice. It was obvious that so much care and attention went into creating this vacation destination for people. My wife marveled at how beautifully decorated this home is as well as the detailed landscaping outside. We arrived after several hours of flying to a clean and sparkling home that felt as if it had been prepared special for us. The location truly is right about a 5 minute walk to the beach, even with our small children. Everything we needed was right there waiting for us....beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys for the kids, beach bags, 3 differents sizes of coolers, pool toys, floats, fluffy towels etc. The lanai/pool/spa was wonderful and was our girls' favorite part of our stay. It was very easy to operate and just sparkled everyday. Another amenity that we loved were the bikes in the garage. I rented a pull-behind child trailer from the Island Bike Shop (I left the brochure at the house for future renters) for only $20 and got to keep it for over 24 hrs. The island is extremely biker friendly and we rode all the way to Susie's diner for breakfast with our girls in tow then rode to Mackle Park and had a blast! This was the perfect island getaway for us and we are already talking about when we can return next year!

    This Marco home is wonderful! The pictures don't do it justice. Pat and Charles are a joy to work with - they make you feel as though you are friends, and are very anxious to make your stay as perfect as possible. The tandem bike was a pleasant surprise! Watching the sunset while sitting in the deluxe chairs provided by Pat and Charles - no words can describe how incredibly beautiful and relaxing it was. We stayed here for 5 days in mid May and had beautiful weather the entire time. Wish we never had to leave...

    Pat & Charles home is a true delight! They have all the wonderful amenties, plus much more! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Marco in their beautifully decorated and CLEAN home making great use of the pool, spa and local beach access (literally across the street). We took a ride around the island on the bikes, grilled on the bbq and played countless card games on the out door furniture set. The kitchen is fully stocked, the furnishings comfortable and the location is perfect! We cannot wait to return to your lovely home next year!

    Pat and Charles absolutely lived up to their promises; we felt comfortable even in the reservation phase. All of our emails were answered immediately, with additional pictures sent, and no questions ignored. Everything was perfect, exactly as stated on their website. We followed Pat’s suggestion and had dinner at Sunset Grill, a 15 minute walk on the beach from the house. On the way back home it was already dark, all the people were gone, and the beach belonged only to my wife and myself. They have a gorgeous home and take good care of their guests- we have already booked our next stay for April.

    Our Marco Island vacation was nothing short of spectacular. The house and its location played off of one another perfectly; we were relaxed but never bored, the whole thing invites a sort of excited The house and amenities are held to the highest of standards. "Bicycles in garage" meant nothing to us, so it was a huge surprise when instead of a pile of tarnished chrome with wheels we found the snazziest beach cruisers we've ever had the good fortune to sit on. Everything else follows this prescription; the ping pong table, the jacuzzi, the plates in the cupboards, the fluffy towels, it all feels as though it's been bought for -you-. No skimping. Very tastefully decorated, and comfort is clearly held in high esteem. Those same bicycles took us as far as we wanted to go, through to thousands of islands of mangroves or just the grocery store. Seagrape is right in the center of all of the restaurants and bars worth visiting, and believe me, every single one of those is -definitely- worth visiting. Once parked, we never used our car. The sunsets are incomparable, and the beach you'd want to watch them from is literally across the street. I am not the type to write a review, but this place really deserved it. We left with peace of mind and the resolve to return soon.

    I cannot say enough about our stay on Marco Island. This definitely was one of our best vacations ever. Our vacation rental was a dream! The house was spotless, the pool area great for our kids (there were even pool toys already there!), the jacuzzi relaxing for the adults (and so easy to operate that I could even figure out how to turn it on!), and we could sit outside and BBQ in the evening. The beach was in walking distance and not very crowded at all! It was clean and offered plenty of activities. Restaurants, shops and a movie theater were also close by. The owner even provided bicycles that allowed us to discover Marco Island on our own and get fit at the same time. The rental was in excellent condition, very nicely furbished (like a model home), and had all the amenities - and it is QUIET! We definetly would recommend this vacation rental to everyone who is looking for sun, beach, and fun and doesn't want to miss the comfort of their own home. We are already thinking about booking this place again for the next year!!

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    We had a wonderful holiday on Marco Island. Every room was indivdual arranged with a very inviting atmosphere. The technical equipment is brand new and really easy to use. We could watch german TV via livestream. All rooms especially kitchen and bath room were clean and well-maintained. It was exactly as listed in the description. Pat briefed us perfectly to use the house, pool and jacuzzi and when we had questions, we could phone her nearly all time. - Our kids (5 and 11 years) liked the pool area best - The beach isn´t far away, you only have to cross the street. - Even our favourite italian restaurant was just steps away. - Everglades are so close to see alligators and indian villages. Our little son said: " The air boat ride was the best thing in my life". We would like to say thank you again for a wonderful and impressing holiday at your property. It wasn´t just a location it was a home.
