  Our recent stay at the Murphy cabin was the ultimate in luxury. This home has all the amenities we look for when renting a vacation home; including a large, comfortable living room and dining table, plus a bath for each couple, and located close to activities. We enjoyed a night of games in the basement using the game table. Half way through our stay, we awoke to a dusting of snow, which made the cabin all the more cozy! We hiked within Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, which are both located within an hours drive. The cabin is stocked with many travel brochures from local attractions making our daily activities easy to plan. Thanks!

  Our family of 2 adults and 2 children spent 5 wonderful nights here. What a lovely "cabin in the woods". Very well appointed, fun themed rooms, books, games, etc. We visited Zion and Bryce while here, but were happy to just hang out in the cabin. The first morning the kids were a little put out that I made them leave the cabin behind to seek other adventures, but playing in the stream at Mossy Cave brought happy smiles and all was right in their world again. We saw so much wild life driving to and from the cabin that made it into a game each morning. The kids loved the wild turkey and fox! The owners sent us a wealth of local information before we arrived so we were well prepared.

  Our family enjoyed this vacation home while we hiked Zion, Bryce, Kodachrome, Cedar Breaks, and Grand Staircase. Its location was exactly as advertised, convenient to both Bryce and Zion parks. The property was well maintained, and the photos did reflect the appearance and admenities listed. The owners were helpful and mailed information prior to our visit that was informative. We can recommend thgis property to others.

  This is the PERFECT location for visiting Utah's incredible National parks! One hour from Bryce, close to Zion, it is easy to find, and is an incredibly beautiful and luxurious place to stay! I cannot say enough about the owners- gracious, and genuinely interested in the enjoyment of ones stay. Clean, with awesome views it is perfect for families: our kids stayed in the comfortable walk out basement, watching Dvds downstairs while we caught a grown-up flick on the main level. And grandma voted the steam shower to die for. After seeing the incredible beauty of Utah this is the perfect place to come home to!

  This is an absolutely stunning cabin! The cabin is perfectly located between Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Kanab. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and is cosy and roomy all at the same time. It was a perfect retreat to come back to after a day of hiking all around the National Parks. The steam shower was a wonderful bonus. We loved how quiet it was and slept like babies every night. Even though there is no TV or internet, there is a great DVD and board game selection; it was actually nice to unplug from the world for a week. I can only imagine how great the star gazing is up there (we had a gorgeous full moon, so it was hard to see all the stars). The Murphy's were great. They answered all our questions promptly and provided us with an amazing welcome packet full of tons of useful information. It was a great touch. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. It was definitely hard to leave at the end of our vacation.

  We were having trouble with other lodging when I got in touch with this property owner. This owner saved my family's vacation. I cannot say enough nice things about her, she restored my faith in humanity. The property is awesome. It is new, very clean and decorated extremely well. If you want to stay in a beautiful house with awesome property owners pick this listing.

  My family just got back from a week at this gorgeous cabin. What a wonderful time and place! Carrie was incredibly helpful prior to our getting there, answering all of our many questions and providing a package of very instructive information about the area. All of us were fascinated by the hummingbirds that flew around the porch and the stars were gorgeous. The cabin itself is lovely and very well cared for. It wasn't until we were checking out and I was looking through the guest book that I realized other guests were using the cabin the day before we got there - that's how clean it was! A welcoming bottle of wine was very much appreciated and our son love the sauna. We also appreciated the hint about renting an SUV; it made our exploring much easier. We would return to this wonderful place without hesitation.

  We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful -- our favorite thing was to sit out on the deck and eat our meals, read, watch the hummingbirds, see the deer and other wildlife and watch the stars. It was a perfect place to sit at any time of day! The rooms were very comfortably furnished, the kitchen was fantastic and the deck was amazing! The fireplaces, fire pit and grill were great to have as well. If we could, we would stay forever! It was so quiet and peaceful! There are also tons of great places to go visit in the area and the view was always spectacular no matter where we were. It's so close to Cedar City and was very convenient for attending the Shakespearean Festival. Thank you so much! We had a great time and will definitely keep this as one of our favorite getaway spots!

  My teen boys, their dad and I spent a few nights here for the Duck Creek Days Festival in town, which was closer than I thought! The views from the front wrap around proch were incredible! We had dear each morning walk by the back door through the aspen trees and many pines. There were three floors so there is ample sleeping space and a full bath on each level, poker table and bar on lower level with separate entrance too. The loft with a giant king bed and it's own terrace actually has a steam shower too! We will be back! The only thing to note is the very steep driveway so bring your 4 wheel drive!
