This is a lovely old New England farmhouse nestled on a hill overlooking the village of South Waterford. The property includes four private acres of lawns, gardens and woods, bordered by the village brook. A spring-fed stream runs through the grounds.
This is a spacious house with lots of light, hardwood floors and high ceilings. There are three bedrooms: one full, one queen, and one with two twin beds. The home also has four walk-in closets and two bright , newly renovated bathrooms
There is a large country eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, sunny living room with wood stove, and study with futon for extra guests. A huge screened-in porch stretches the length of the house in front, overlooking the village church. There is a laundry room and connected workshop, with an ample supply of firewood. There is also a separate barn for parking your car and storing seasonal items such as kayaks and skis.

We had an incredible stay at Kerstin's house in Maine. The house was beautiful and HUGE! It was stocked with more than you would ever need and the amenities were amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and Kerstin was fabulous and even allowed us to host a small baby shower at her house which was a perfect house to host such an event. I couldn't say enough great things about this rental! Don't hesitate, rent it! You won't regret it!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We spent Thanksgiving week 2010 in Kerstin's house. It is a very beautiful house. The kitchen has everything! We cooked an amazing Thanksgiving dinner for 6 people in a very large and nicely furnished kitchen. It was a delight for us to find everything we need in the kitchen and also old records in the study Kerstin is also great. There were fresh flowers waiting for us on the dining table. Strongly recommended!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Spent a couple of days there in the summer of 2010. Boating in the neighbouring lakes was calm and peaceful, and the house is simply wonderful. Kerstin, the owner, is a darling!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
