WOW! Where to begin.... We have been visiting the OBX for 30+ years and have stayed in Corolla down to Hatteras. We have always gone through a management company to rent and now realize what a pain it is to deal with and pay for that service. The owners of the house are in constant communication from the time you make the reservation until the vacation is over. The house has all the ammenities of home. It was clean and they make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay.I really cant say enough good things about Judy. The house is private and is perfect for families. Without a doubt, we will be staying in this house again!! Thanks Judy.

We had a wonderful time at the Beech House! Enjoyed everything from the pool to the pool table. Judy was most responsive during booking process and very flexible about our dates. It was so nice to find the "little extras" already there: condiments, spices, paper plates and napkins, etc. Another plus was the availability of bikes, basketball, beach/pool floats (even though we didn't use any of them this trip). Judy even arranged to open the pool early in case we wanted to use it. The hot tub was my favorite part!! Thanks, Judy and Craig, for making our beach stay at Beech House such a great experience! We hope to visit again!!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

From the first to the last time I contacted the owners, they were nothing but kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend working with them. The home was clean, updated, and felt like I was staying in a home rather than a rental. Well stocked kitchen with amazing updated large appliances, small appliances, nice pans, and even the small supplies for the home were there. The rooms were large, beds comfortable, and nicely decorated. I love that the home has 2 master bedrooms & bathrooms (both with King beds) which worked out great for taking 2 families. There are 2 other rooms with bunk beds and a trundle bed, and the loft has 2 queen beds and a futon (it's on the 3rd floor so it has it's own private area with a door that closes. The home also has another full bath and a half bath, there is PLENTY of room in this home. We came in January and the weather was pretty cold so we spent lots of time in the hot tub. It was well maintained and in great condition. The screened in porch was great for hanging out in and the yard was big enough to have the kids run around in. We were unable to use the pool this trip, but can only imagine how nice it would be in the summer. The home is not on the beach, but a VERY short drive ( 2 minutes) to get there a was not a problem for us. It was close to shopping, easy drive to the Wrights Brother Memorial, and Jockey's Ridge. You can tell the owner take pride in their home and it shows. We would highly recommend this home.

The owner was easy to communicate and work with, and the house was great with a fair price. The kitchen is gorgeous and we loved that all the switches were labeled as to what they went to (ceiling fan, foyer light, lamp, etc). Very clean!

A Great Place for Families!

We had a wonderful time in the house, everything you can think of needing and more was available. We got together, for the first time in Kitty Hawk, to attend a wedding, there was 12 of us in the house and all enjoyed every minute. A sure bet!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in OBX. The house was absolutely gorgeous and equipped beyond measure! It was so convenient to all the beaches and having the pool was an added plus! We all really liked that aspect of our visit. We would definitely like to return there another summer, good Lord willing! God bless!

The house is super nice and does not have the "beach house" feel but feels like an elegant family house. Having a private pool is awesome for the kids! The kids also loved the recreation room up on the top floor! Owner was awesome to communicate with!

Our stay was beyond our expecatations! The home is gorgeous and perfectly situatated and was suited for our family and friends! Judy went above and beyond to make sure that every and all that we spoke about would be done and if we had a question, she was easily a phone call away. We felt so at home. The pictures look like the home but it doesn't capture the full charm. You must see it for yourself. We will be back.

The house was amazing and fit me and friends very comfortable. The owner was very easy to deal with and the house had bikes which made getting to the beach very easy. One of my friends actually learned to ride a bike while down there. Visit the giant dunes down the way very cool.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Owner response: So glad your group enjoyed the bikes so much, we realize that it is a nice 'extra' that most renters don't expect, and adds even more forms of entertainment options to your fun-filled days. The dunes you mention are located in Nags Head and is a State Park, called Jockey's Ridge. It's one of my children's favorite visit, particularly when entertaining other friends. With views of the sound and the ocean, it makes for potentially spectacular sunrises and sunsets, with an almost surreal moon-like surrounding. get there early for a sunrise and see the animal tracks left from the previous night.

My family and I have stayed twice at Judy’s Beech house in Kitty Hawk, NC. The first summer we stayed for 7 days and the second summer we stayed for 10 days. I’ve rented homes in Nags Head, over a dozen times in the past 20 years, big homes with hot tubs and 1 with three floors and an elevator. But I won’t be going back there again. At the Beech house, the feeling is different. The home is in a residential neighborhood; trees, back roads, cozy, quiet. It is not on the beach or even directly across the street from the beach. If that’s what you want move on. But it’s in Kitty Hawk. You want to go to the beach you can use one of their many bikes, or just drive about 3/4 mile and pretty much park anywhere, pretty much anytime. You want to drive to the beach in Nags Head, get up early to find a spot. And I’ve stayed in rentals with a community pool, so, been there and done that. But they have a private pool and hot tub, and they are both cleaned and maintained during the week, which is nice. Look at the pictures of the interior of this house. You would have to build your own to get anything nicer. I will highly recommend this rental.

The house was perfect. We had a family gathering there and it turned out great. The house was very clean and spacious. The neighborhood was very friendly. The trails nearby were great for walking in the morning. The guys golfed one morning at the nearby course. It was in a convenient location, right in the middle of the Outer Banks. The hot tub was very nice but we would love to come back when it is warm enough to enjoy the pool. I would definately recommend it for other families.

Love this cottage description was very good,very clean. Would highly recommend this cottage very close to good restaurants my favorite Barefoot Bernies. One of the nicest places I have ever stay everyone was very pleased. Will come back again.

Myself and 3 friends rented this house for a long weekend in November. The house was beautiful and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The dual master bedroom suites were amazing. It's in a quiet location, off the main street, but still very close to the beach and restaurants. The hot tub and gourmet kitchen were a bonus. I highly recommend this rental property.

We had a wonderful time at your vacation home. Although there were eight of us staying at your place, which is absolutely stunningly beautiful, had plenty of room to accommodate everyone very comfortably. You have done a great job of decorating. It seems as if you have thought of every detail, from the furnitfure to the knick-knacks, to the dishes, to the ceiling fans, etc. etc. We really enjoyed the pool & hot tub. The only problem: we're not ready to go home yet. Thanks for a great week !
