Stay in our beautiful beach home, large 5 bedroom, with 3 bedrooms on the main level. The master suite is on the main level off to a suite of the house where no one can bother you! The home shows and feels like a beautiful beach home, its bright, open, full of energy!
Want the beach atmosphere without the crowds? Then this is the vacation home for you and your family!
We are just 3 miles from the beach. Don't drive to the beach take the free shuttle to the beach, right in our neighborhood you can catch the bayside shuttle to the Fenwick Island beach, great clean beach! Tons of fun! Our beach home is in the beautiful bayside, this is the neighborhood every owner at the beach wants to own in, when you come into this neighborhood its breath taking, bright colors, beautifully landscaped, large pools with pool side bar and grill, 4 star golf course, if your a golfer you won't be disappointed, if you're not a golfer you'll enjoy the walks around the neighborhood, the beautiful point looking over the bay to Ocean City, if you feel up to it catch the water taxi over to OC and have some ice cold drinks on the beach!
Tree-lined streets showcase a community of stunning townhomes, elegant single family homes, and spacious condominiums - all inspired by the New England coastal towns. Sidewalks and walking trails allow visitors to enjoy the community's open meadows, woodlands and marshes as well as the convenience of shops within walking distance. Our beautifully decorated single family home has 5 bedrooms & 3 1/2 bathrooms and can easily sleep 12-18. This home is comfortable for everyone, you will feel as if this is your beach home, its very inviting and full of energy!
Our home is a short walk to the Sun Ridge Heated Pool ( 3 blocks ) (includes 10 person Jacuzzi, Kids Splash Zone, and Oasis Grille), Clubhouse w/ spacious gym, Sand Volleyball Courts, Basketball Court, Stocked ponds.... Also, you will thoroughly enjoy walking/biking/jogging throughout this pristine and tranquil Resort community!
While you're out, make sure you take a walk along the scenic Nature Trail (kids will love walking over man made bridges and looking for that horseshoe crab shell). And it's a fun walk over to the Bayside Pier & Boardwalk as well! Just follow the signs.....
If you are a golfer, then it is a must to test your skill set on this golf course. This track is truly SPECTACULAR! JACK NICKLAUS did it right and you will thoroughly enjoy your trek through his beautiful and challenging design! And make sure you keep your eyes open for the Bald Eagle family which lives along the 16th Fairway! What an amazing & inspiring sight!
Want to keep the kids occupied for a bit, then ride the bikes up to the Bayside Carousel, let them ride all day, its FREE! When they're tired of the rides go right next door to the playground and climb up the Bayside Lighthouse.... The kids love it, adults too!
Did I mention that Bayside has free Live Entertainment during Friday & Saturday evenings and on occasional Sat/Sun mornings at the Josh Freeman Performing Arts Stage which is located near the Golf Pro Shop? Make sure you check in w/ the posted schedules at the Bayside Sun Ridge Pool & Clubhouse. This is a must visit for my family!
Now beaches! You are within minutes (3 miles) of the beaches of Fenwick Island, Ocean City, and Bethany Beach! And Bayside has a courtesy shuttle available during the summer season. In fact, the Shuttle stop is in walking distance from our home! Take the shuttle and save the headache!
You are also within minutes of multiple Miniature golf courses, the famous Philips Seafood Restaurant, Water parks, Fisher's Caramel Popcorn, etc. And make sure that you travel approx 3 1/2 miles north on Coastal HWY to order Grotto's Pizza, which is practically a historic DE landmark. You will come back again! Or you can drive down to the Ocean City Boardwalk on the south side and make sure you try Thrasher's French Fries. They will melt in your mouth...
Harris Teeter Grocery Store, Slainte Irish Pub, and Blue Scoop Ice Cream are located at the front entrance of Bayside. And this year the new Oasis Bar & Grille will open up next to the Golf Pro Shop directly facing the 18th Green....
Please enjoy your stay at our home! We believe that you will enjoy your stay just as much as we do each time we are fortunate enough to come down here! And please do not hesitate to let us know what can be improved upon when you come back next summer.... BTW, make sure you get a chance to sit out on the back screen porch w/ your favorite cocktail while enjoying the Bay Breeze and taking in all of the action before you.
Also...Linens are not provided but we have a partnership with a local linen supply company in the area we refer our guest to, let us know if you need this service.

Thank you Craig for the pleasure of renting your lovely resort home over Thanksgiving. It catered to all our needs as described. Children and ADULTS enjoyed the Merry Go Round...brunch at Bayside....lovely walking paths..and convenient shopping at Harris Teeters, not to mention how nice it was to have all the family together in the area for the holiday. We may be talking again in 2012!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Just a great stay! Lots of beach time, relaxed by the pool and the guys played golf. I'm not a golfer but the guys said it was a great course. The house was just as described and it was a pleasure dealing with Craig (the owner). I would highly recommend you stay at this home, we'll be back, just don't take the week we want!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This home was just as described, beautiful, just wonderful. We never stayed in Bayside before, but we loved it! the beach shuttle was great, no need to deal with the crowds trying to find parking and the beach the shuttle takes you to is great for kids and families. There is so much to do in Bayside, I have to say our favorite was probably the pool with the spray park, plenty of fun for the kids and the a nice outside bar and cafe for the adults. The pizza at the pool is great!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Thank you so much for letting our family stay in your beautiful beach home. Our stay was great and everything was as described, tip top shape. It was like living in a model home for a week. My kids loved the pools in the community, especially the spray park! Just a great vacation and the best home we've ever stayed in. About the owner: My wife and I own this home, when we bought this beautiful home a little over two years ago and we didn't expect to rent it out. But then we quickly realized we didn't have the time to use the home and most of the time it just sits empty. We have 3 kids and we both have demanding jobs. As a CEO of a large IT company up and down the east coast and my wife is a mortgage professional for a large bank. Believe it or not its not our jobs that keeps us from going to the house, after all the home has high speed Internet we can work anywhere really, the problem is our kids sports, our weekends seem to revolve around their weekends.
Why the Owner Chose Fenwick Island:
We bought in this home for one reason, the neighborhood! we looked at 20 or more homes before we bought here. My wife's parents live down the street in another neighborhood and they told us about bayside but they also told us how expensive it is to own a home in this neighborhood, so we tried to not go there but when we did we where sold!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This home is bursting with energy and as soon as I walk thru the front door i feel a sense of relaxation immediately hit me. I always tell my wife why can't our primary home feel like this, its just an at peace feeling.
