This home is perfect for a family getaway. The Albemarle Sound is beautiful, peaceful, and refreshing. The house is nicely equipped with everything that you need to enjoy your time away. Our interaction with the owners was very pleasant. They provided every detail to make our stay pleasurable. All in all, this home is an outstanding vacation at a very reasonable price.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers.

A million dollar view!!!!!!!! Beautiful sunsets; peaceful sound of lapping water; wonderful vacation spot for nature lovers. Thoroughly enjoyed my very first time kayaking. The house is clean and spacious and nicely furnished. My interaction with the owners was great and they were more than desiring to help make our reunion/vacation a five star one. It was truly a blessed place and time for our family. We would vacation there again in a heartbeat. We were able to visit Edenton, Elizabeth City and Nags Head/Kitty Hawk due to the close proximity, but always enjoyed returning to our quiet and peaceful home away from home. The large screened-in-porch overlooking the sound was a great late evening gathering place to watch the sunsets and dine together. All in all, a most fabulous vacation "getaway from the frantic world" spot.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: We have a family of 4. Our boys are now 13 and 15 and love the water! We live in Richmond Va. We all like to play golf and enjoy the course nearby.
Why the Owner Chose Edenton:
We chose this location because of the close proximity to our home in Richmond. We love the rural feel and the lack of boating traffic on the water. We love Edenton. It is a very quaint town with just enough to do.
