Villas del Mar condos are the top of luxury, when it comes to ocean front living in Puerto Aventuras. The complex is located right in the middle between the beach and the restaurants, and boasts the height of vacation rental comfort.
The villa for rent is a large, two bedroom suite located on the second floor, with its own private, balcony overlooking the majestic swimming pools, and with a view to the white sand beaches and warm Caribbean sea. The patio has a table and chairs, as well as a Jacuzzi, making this a perfect spot to relax on warm evenings.
The master bedroom is huge, and has a king-size bed and ensuite with a deep tub. There are many large closets, although a few are reserved and locked for the owners.
The second bedroom has two double beds and its own bathroom with shower. The living room is beautifully furnished, with a safe underneath the television. There is a large television in the living room as well as in the master bedroom. The living room has glass sliding doors that open up to the balcony. Maid service three times a week is included, and beach towels are provided. There is an extra half bath located off the hallway, and this contains a washer and drier for your convenience.
The fully equipped kitchen is large and has all dishes and appliances provided. Water cannot be consumed from the taps, so five gallon water containers are supplied. Food shopping is very convenient with local food stores available nearby. There are several very excellent restaurants in Puerto Aventuras, with a large variety of choices, and more restaurants and night life in Playa del Carmen, a ten minutes drive north.
The beautiful, white sand, palm tree-lined beach is right in front of the swimming pools, and beach chairs are provided only to guests of Villas del Mar. The complex has a private white sand beach area as well as many palapas for your comfort. This villa is limited to 6 people. Maid service available three times a week is included in the price. Bottled water is also provided at no extra cost. Management is on site.

My husband and I always try to escape the long northern winter with a southern sojourn and enjoy exploring new places. Neither of us had ever been to the Riviera Maya, and, based on the high praise of a good friend who spent one month is this condo complex, we booked in. It was perfect for our goal of total relaxation in a beautiful tropical setting. The condo itself is spacious, light and comfortable, with pleasing decor and intriguing Mexican artifacts scattered about. The maid service kept everything sparkling clean. The pool is gorgeous, the beach exquisite, and the "village" chock-a-block with fun restaurants and shops and nightly live music, a fun diversion. We spent mornings at the beach, often strolled down to the Omni beach bar for a light lunch, and landed poolside most afternoons for some aqua-exercise - the pool's length conducive to laps. We dined out and ate in, making the most of the local farmers market's bounty of perfect avacados, tomatoes, chili peppers, mangos and all manner of fresh vegetables and fruits. The complex itself never felt crowded or noisy. It felt more like our own private oasis shared with a few amiable fellow guests. The staff keep all of the grounds immaculately groomed, and the gardens and plantings are lovely. If you have young children, this is an ideal family setting - both pool and beach designed for safety and ease, and dolphins at the marina will delight young and old. For the more athletically inclined there is tennis and, of course, the golf course. For ocean adventure you can book a snorkeling, dive or fishing boat. We enjoyed an outing to a local cenote. Truly something for everyone. We are considering returning next year with our four adult children!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

What an amazing place! I absolutely loved it. Yesterday we had a snork-yak experience and saw Dori! And then on our walk along the beach, we found a dead crab and buried it.
