We just left this lovely beach home last Friday thankfully right before Irene hit. It was great!!! The kitchen was gorgeous, the living room was comfy & the rooms were great. We loved being able to sit out on either deck & it was perfect for our 1 night of rain to be covered. The 1 bathroom with 3 women & 4 children was a bit of a challenge at times but showering was never a problem with the outside "rainfall" shower. We did indeed use the trolley to the beach but only once due to the fact that with small children bathroom breaks aren't convenient for those times when they "have to go NOW"!!! LOL!. We did hit the bay beach once & that was nice as well with the little playground. However, for Beach eaze we did pack up the car & easily drove to streets w/ direct beach access. Other than that everything within walking distance was nice too....breakfast, deli, ice cream. The kids loved to go scootering to Poppys. There are advantages to being on the quieter end of LBI!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Just got back from a week at Barnegat Light on LBI staying at this great house on 6th St. This was our first time staying at the shore and we could not have asked for a more fun week or a nicer place. The renovations in this apartments were great. Great ammenedties, place was spotless, attention to detail was appreciated. The location was fantastic for our family, with the Atlantic Ocean beach close by and for our 2 small kids we went to the Bay Beach on 25th St. everyday which was perfect. Definitely a great place for a family and great apartment with everything brand new: central air, laundry, all new appliances, grill, etc... Just one thing to mention is that there is an appartment above this one so consider that you will most likely have neighbors livivng above you they may not have the same idea of what it means to be courteous.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
