Note to boaters, Lake Sinclair is a Georgia Power Lake and the water fluctuates during the day. Water is around 5-3ft in front of our dock and channel. We just had dredging done December 2008, 20ft out on all sides of our dock. Pontoon boats, in board/outboards and seadoos are all welcome. Lake has not been affected by the drought due to being a GA power lake. We do have low areas visible when water is low, but when the water comes in the fish are coming in with it! There is an island visible that brings in ducks, turtles, and lots of different birds. Children love to play in the low water area. Rental is available for a day or two,a weekend or longer. Rent the home 6 nights get the 7th free! Monthly rentals available off season.
New carpet put in 4/08 along with fresh paint in living room and halls. Dredged in Dec. 08. New face dock boards 2009, New Queen size matteress and Double matteress 2009. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this lake house. Everything was clean and well maintained - Deb is a very thoughtful hostess and the staff left us a little treat in honor of our anniversary. Communication was great and everything went very smoothly! We caught a lot of little fish from the dock and thoroughly enjoyed just relaxing and enjoying the view and lots of quiet time!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

This was a most enjoyable rental. House is beautiful and well maintained. We loved the screened deck area where we enjoyed most of our meals. My pets also went with me and enjoyed the dock. Actually caught fish from the dock. We were able to navigate well with our pontoon and on the day of our departure noted the fish at daybreak as well as many geese visiting and playing in the region. It was very quiet and is a very nice community in the area of the rental. Could not have asked for any better - owners are very prompt to your inquiries and call to assure that everything is okay. Thanks for a great time. Definitely will rent this location again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers.

Since giving up our place at Lake Seminole in S. Georgia, we have been usually spending vacation time in the mountains. This year we decided to look for a Lake Front place for Spring Break. We found this place online and decided to give it a go. The listing sounded really good and the home lived up to it completely. Such a nice place, so clean and well stocked with supplies. Owners were very responsive to emails and phone calls and made our stay a very enjoyable experience. Wife loves to fish and caught a nice "mess of fish" right off the dock. We will bring our boat on the next trip down. We had a great time a the Lake House and also enjoyed visiting Millegeville and Eatonton for day trips. Make you plans to attend this quiet and secluded Lake Home and enjoy Lake Sinclair as we did.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We love your lakehouse! We have 2 girls (teen and pre-teen) and never once were they bored! There is something for everyone to do here. Your house has every amenity we needed and then some. It was so nice to sit on the enclosed deck and watch the lake first thing every morning. The lake was warm and we swam everyday! Thanks so much for everything. We hope to be back again next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was our 2nd visit to this house and it was just as good as the first. The house was clean and well kept. I think we're starting a yearly tradition! The water gets a bit low at times during the day for out 19' bowrider, but if you take it slow and stay between the sticks you'll be fine getting out. Boaters be sure to check out goat island. The owners are great and are quick to respond to emails. We brought up my parents and our lab - Shirley. Shirley enjoyed looking at the docks while she laid on the dock. We had 1 day of rain but that was fine, we needed a break from water skiing. The house has cable TV,internet and board games so we had a nice relaxing day inside. The most important thing for us was the house was clean, nonsmoking, no funky odors, etc. This place delivers all that. We'll probably be back again next year:)Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

A fantastic lake house that is right on the water. Cozy and comfortable, a great back porch overlooking the water, a spacious backyard with firepit and horseshoes, and of course the wonderful dock to relax on...what more could you ask for? It comes at a great price, and our group had a great weekend. On top of that, the owners could not be more friendly and helpful. This lake house is highly recommended.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1994
About the owner: HI, we are Jim and Deb. We live in Florida, but lived in Georgia 15 years for Jim and 12 years for me. We bought the Lake House as a get away home for our weekends off. We both work for the Airlines and had to move to Michigan for Jim to keep his job back in 2002. We did not get to the Lake House very often. We made the decision to rent it out. It was a very hard decision knowing others would be in our home, but one we had to do since we did not want to sell the home. Renting has been a Blessing to us. We have had really good experiences and even made a few friends. It is fun hearing others tell us what they enjoyed about the Lake.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Sinclair:
We love the home and the lake/area. We want to retire there one day. Our prices are low and have not changed since we started renting in 2003. Lake Sinclair is a great lake. It is powered by GA power, so drought is not an issue neither is there a worry for flooding. They generate power between Lake Sinclair and Lake Oconee. We Love the quiet cove.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is in a quiet cove. We love sitting on the swing or out on the dock in the morning listening to the birds and ducks. We enjoy our screened in porch! In the evening we do the same thing, but listen to the frogs and fish jumping. The ducks often come to visit at night because there is a grassy area near us. We really enjoy having a fire in the fire pit and just listening to the quietness. You just don't get that in the city! The stars are amazing also.
