My family and I stayed in this house for Spring Break and we loved it. The house is really close to the lake with a great view of a little island in the middle of the cove. You can actually swim to the island. It is full of geese, birds, and other wildlife out there. We also had our two dogs who enjoyed swimming out to chase the geese. The house is very clean and well stocked with the necessary household items to make you comfortable. It has WI-fi and satellite t.v. - which was important when you have teenagers. I am a writer and I was able to sit out by the fire-pit and write a couple of chapters of my next book, plus research some things on the internet while I was outside. It was perfect. It is peaceful and relaxing. The neighbors where friendly and even let my children borrow their peddle boat for the week. There is also a screened-in porch with an extra long picnic table on it that was perfect for dinner every night. They also have lots of DVDs and board games in case you have a rainy day. We totally enjoyed ourselves and will come back again next year!

My wife and I rented Jim and Deb's home during the Thanksgiving holiday. I have family that lives a couple of miles down the road and the rental home gave my wife and I a perfect "oasis" away from our large family gathering. Jim and Deb went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect, and it was perfect! The home was super clean and the area is very quite which was what we were looking for in a getaway rental. I would highly recommend this property based on the house and the wonderful level of service I received from Jim and Deb.

My father and I enjoyed our quiet weekend. The house was clean and everything was as they said. We enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch and talking in the morning. We also liked that Milledgeville was about 20 minutes away. Beautiful setting for a beautiful weekend.

We rented this lake house to celebrate my son’s birthday over the Labor Day weekend. Owners, Deb and Jim, were very accommodating and answered any questions we had prior to our arrival. Upon checking into the home, we received a call from Jim to see if there was anything else we needed or if we had any questions. This home was spotless and smelled fresh and clean! The amenities provided in this lovely home were better than a hotel, even a “full” size hair dryer. We absolutely LOVED the screened in porch where we ate all our meals and didn’t have to worry about bugs or mosquitos! We also enjoyed the boat dock where we fished and swam. The backyard was very relaxing and well maintained. Had it not been so hot in the evening, we would have used the fire pit. We most certainly would love to stay here again and highly recommend this home. Thank you Deb and Jim for sharing your wonderful lake home with us!

This was our first time using vrbo and I must say these folks made it excellent. They were professional yet personal. The owners checked up on us during our stay to make sure everything was OK (and it was). Easy to get a hold of, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The owners are good people with a wonderful home. We brought an 18ft bowrider up, it was great having the dock right out front. It gets a bit shallow when the water is low, but take your time getting out and you'll be fine. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us! Nick & Mandy, Jacksonville, FL

We just got back today after 4 nights at Jim and Deb's lake house and it was great! It was perfectly set-up and had everything they said it would. The weather was great and when the rain storms came through each night, it was great to just sit out on the screened in porch and relax. Having rented from other VRBOs, the experience we had making the arrangements for this house was one of the easiest, if not the easiest! Everything was very smooth, even down to a call the day we got there just to check on us! Thanks, so much, for renting to us... and we may be inquiring again this fall!

AWESOME stay with everlasting memories!!! We arrived on July 1st & departed on July 5th. It was surely the best birthday ever along with celebrating our Country's birthday too!!! Two in 1 making it "Paradise Perfect"! Owners, Debbie & Jim couldn't make it any easier for their guests. They communicate very well from the start of planning your visit till your departure and even after returning to your home destination. They are so very honest even returning $2 dollars cash of overpayment. During our stay, we experienced watching the fireworks from the dock the entire weekend & even went to the local 4th of July festival at the marina that is right around the corner. (Less than 5 min) . Our boys (13-14yoa) never stopped enjoying the outdoors from sunrise to sunset to include midnight fishing catching large catfish, gar, brim etc. Even catching their own bait using mayflies. Husband & I enjoyed the lake kayaking and floating around in a raft. We did have a big surprise of a "beaver" siting along with Geese & Swans that frequent the lake. Accomodations are the best relaxing whether you are inside or out. Great "home away from home". This was our second visit and can't decide which was better, Winter visit or Summer visit. Both were AWESOME and we know we will be back. Milledgville is a great small town with Georgia Univeristy less than 15min away. It has the great "hometime" atmosphere. Visiting the local bee keeper was a great experience along with bringing home honey & bee pollen. I'm hooked on "bee pollen". Even visited a local dairy farm at a local farmers place. Watched how goats are milked & even feed them too! Photographers it a great place to capture those unique shots so don't forget your camera!! On on way home, we even stopped in Macon, GA to taste homemade peach icecream & fresh fried peach pies. www.lanesouthernorchards.com It's a great family place to strength your family ties along with making everlasting memories!! Take the time to capture those moments it time.LOVE IT from the Barnard Bunch in Florida.

What a beautiful home on the water of Lake Sinclair. So peaceful, relaxing in a very clean, lovely decorated home-- a great get away from the everyday hussel and bussel. Located in a cove so there is not so much boat traffic one can just sit on dock, fish, read a book or just take in the peaceful atmosphere.

We were in the area for my daughter's 4H BB Team State Competition. She placed 7th (out of over 500 shooters) in the prone shooting position and her team placed 10th overall out of 75 teams! This home was a very welcomed place to relax between events and after the competition. Although accurate, the pictures do not do the home justice. The living areas are larger than the pictures can depict and the decor throughout the home is very relaxing. There were only four of us, me, my mom and my two daughters, but the home is large and open enough for a larger crowd. The kitchen is stocked with every dish, utensil, and small appliance you will need. The screened porch is very comfortable with an awesome view of the dock and lake. My daughters really enjoyed sitting out on the dock and they did a little fishing and fed the ducks. Since our time was so limited, we did not get a chance to use the fire pit or horse shoe area but that area of the yard was very nice and inviting. We will certainly be hanging out by a fire the next time we come. The property is nestled right on the lake surrounded by trees. It is very quiet and you really feel like you are completely away from civilization, even though there are plenty of things to do in the area if you want to go out. We will be planning a trip to the lake house again with no plans other than relax and enjoy everything this home has to offer. The owners were very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Directions were clear, making the property easy to get to. Also, the notes concerning where things are in the home, games, movies, linens and towels are all special touches you just don't get in a hotel. I will certainly love to rent from them again and highly recommend them and their home. Thank you Deb and Jim for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Our stay was just after christmas arriving mid afternoon on the 26th. It was a very nice welcome being we were driving into our "Lake House" stay as snow was falling. We then experience ice, frost and sunshine when we were departing on the 30th. Our son played outdoors for almost 24 hours a day with just enough time to come in to eat & sleep. It was great for us as parents cause we watched him through the beautiful windows or porch to try & fish through the ice on the lake. He even walked on the lake with the ice. GREAT AWESOME PICTURES! Memories of a lifetime! Lake House was great, nice, warm & cozy with fireplace and all the fixings to include "beautiful hot water"!! No need to eat out as long as you stop & get groceries on your way in. 24 hour Walmart grocery very close. Will be back whether it will be Winter or Summer...!!! Super stay..

The family rented this cottage during the month of December to get away for a break, the home was clean and inviting and had all the amenities that I have at home as well and then some! We have two dogs and brought them along with us, the yard was perfect for dogs and they had a better time I think than we did :-] The owners were great to work with, very nice and even called when we arrived to make sure all was good! The weather was just what we wanted and the home came equipped with a fireplace and a stockpile of wood that we took advantage of too! I will definately be returning for another visit in the near future.

Thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend retreat at Jim and Deb's lake home! The house and lot are exactly as advertised in their descriptions and they go to a lot of trouble to be sure their guests are comfortable. The house is very clean and comfortably furnished and everyone bragged about how well the beds "slept" each night. We have used Lake Sinclair dozens of times the last few years, have rented several houses for a few days each, and plan to return to Jim and Deb's place for numerous future visits. Thank you so much for sharing this home with us and giving us a great value for a great place!

I selected this rental based on the reviews. Other owners seemed not to care, but Jim and Deb had received glowing reviews, and now I know why. When the Internet didn't work, they took time away from their own family reunion to help get it back online. They have worked hard to make this a very comfortable and relaxing place, and it is.

We were looking for a place for a family reunion, and this home was perfect for our needs. The owners Deb and Jim are very, very accomodating and gracious, and everything we needed for our stay was included - even bug spray! We especially enjoyed the new screened porch and backyard/boat dock area, which was exactly what we were searching for. We had our 2-year old twins with us, and they thought the back yard was pretty special too, especially the fire pit area! We will definitely be returning!

We arrived on July 4th and saw fireworks from the dock. Our children enjoyed playing in the cove, tubing, and skiing. We caught several catfish, the biggest right off the pier. I enjoyed reading in the hammock. We we're thrilled to find such cozy, affordable place that welcomed the entire family, our chocolate lab, Latte, included. We are definitely planning to return.

My name is Yoly, I have been on lots of vacations, but this Lake house on Lake Sinclair has to be one of the most relaxing and peaceful one's we've had. The house is very accomadating everything you need is supplied, its cozy, warm, and it gives you that feeling of such serenity and tranquility. Surrounded by lots of trees, the lake is right on the back of the house where you could just walk to the pier and sit and fish. Watch all the different kind of birds and ducks, or just relax on the hammock amongs the trees. We had a wonderful time. We rented a boat and went all through the lake. We played board games at night, lit the fire place when it was cool. Wether you have children or if you just want to get away for the weekend, this is the perfect place. Were going back in Sept. we liked so much. Thanks To D.J.

We loved the ten days we spent here. The area is beautiful and lake superb. The cabin is cozy comfortable and clean. It has been given excellent care by the owners. The water was low in areas but the dock was accomodating to the 22 ft pontoon boat we had rented for the visit so it was a non issue for us. The owners called to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay, and we did! Want to experience the quietness of the woods with only the sounds of the crickets while sitting around the fire and roasting marshmellows? This is the place!!!!!! Our children visited on the weekend with their dog and this is a pet friendly home also. This cabin accomodates way more people than the 4 we had. We will be back. Thank you Deb and Jim.

We had without a doubt a wonderful time at Lake Sinclair. Everyone was able to participate in the lake activities such as tubing, jet skiing, lounging in the hammock, and horse shoes. The water by the dock was low, but that made it possible for our 2year old grandbaby to splash around in the lake with all the family. The weather was wonderful, but very hot. So it was nice to be able to go inside of the house and rest with the airconditioning. Their was eleven of us which we at first thought would pose a few problems, But we were all able to sleep cofortably without any complaints. Our time at the lake house was perfect we were supplied with towels, dishes, and all the necessary tools to have a wonderful vacation. It was also great to be able to bring our dog along who enjoyed the water as much as we did. Hope your stay is as wonderful as ours was.

Once We started our rental process with Deb it was like dealing with a friend, from start to finish. We were very please when we arrived at their home on the lake, in a nutshell, nice clean, cozy, and comfertable. Everything you need is there, all you need to bring is clean undies, and a toothbrush. We had a great time, it was my nieces 19th birthday, so the family came up for one of the nights we were there, and brought there boat,, it rained for one day, but we still had a great time, caught catfish from the privite dock.. we will go back
