Large rap around Lanai with even grass area off, which could be great for small kids. Short walk to the famous Ka'anapali Black Rock,best snorkeling on Maui with no need to drive anywhere. Many water activities can be reached @ beachfront, including catamaran trips, scuba diving, parasailing, Whale watching in season.
Shopping at the Whaler Village is very close to enjoy, shopping or go get a cup of yogurt

We stayed for 10 days and loved it!!!! Would love to go back again next year. Easy people to work with!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

March 2013, 4 adults. Our stay on Maui was exceptional. The condo was perfect, fully furnished with complete kitchen/dining/bar and household supplies. The condo is in a perfect location, close to shopping, dining, ocean, and pool. It is clearly apparent that the owners take pride in ensuring their guest have a wonderful Maui vacation experience. We highly recommend this unit!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

It was a great first experience in Maui!! The accommodations were great, loved the location on the ground floor, close to beach, pool, bbq, and short walk to bars, shopping and restaurants. Will definately return to this unit. Suggestion: upgrade cabinets and couple things in bathroom. Beautiful furniture and comfortable bed!!!Did you find this review helpful? Great location! Beatifull swim and snorkel beach, choice of golf courses at discount rates. Condo was very comfortable (king size bed), and room for two more if required. Private Lanai on ground level with easy access to pool, BBQ, parking. We will be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at the Whaler. The unit was fully stocked with everything you would need. It was great having two bathrooms since we have two girls. The unit is located close to the parking lot with a hall entrance right next to the unit. This was great when we brough in our suitcases and groceries. It was also nice having the ground floor unit out the grass so that the kids could play. The new remodel on the grounds turned out really well. We would book here again. My husband even left his brand new electric toothbrush and Ron mailed it back to us. Great people to rent from.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Overall, place is clean, but outdated with a VERY uncomfortable sofa sleeper!! This owner/unit is not worth the headache that comes with it (long story)!!! I do NOT recommend.Owner response: In some cases there is nothing you can do to make a guest happy, when they are set on something they can't have. They renting at a very low rate and we're taken care of. They also reviewed unit and amenities before coming. Can't make the condo the Ritz on low budgets rents. We've never had a complaint in 6 years, this is the first. Sorry that someone ever complains, we just want everyone to have a pleasent stay.
