Hi Jerry, My girlfriend and I enjoyed our Folly trip and stay last week. The weather was perfect and the condo like a comfy home. Although I grew up in Charleston, I took time away from the beach and took my friend sightseeing. It was very enjoyable. I'm sure you will be hearing from my friend and her husband about a trip next spring. They did ask me what approximate dates the pools open/close. I wasn't sure. I look forward to my visit again next Fall. Thank you, Jane At the last Home Owners Association meeting it was agreed to open one of the two pools on April 1st and to close the swimming season with one pool on November 1st. vr Jerry

OUR STAY WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! THE OWNER JERRY,WAS AMAZING WHEN I CALLED HIM TO REQUEST A FOAM PAD FOR TWO OF THE BEDS, D/T ARTHRITIS, WE NEEDED THE SOFT FOAM,OTHERWISE THE MATTRESSES WERE FINE,FOR ANYONE ELSE, HE NEVER HESITATED,SAID HE WOULD SEE WHAT HE COULD DO, BEFORE LATE EVENING THAT SAME DAY,THERE WERE 2 FOAM MATTRESS PADS,BRAND NEW DELIVERED,WE SLEPT GREAT AFTER THAT! ANYTHING YOU CAN WANT OR NEED,THEY HAVE THERE ,WE WILL REQUEST THIS 1 AGAIN,NEXT TIME AROUND!JERRY ANS STAFF ARE WONDERFUL!!!! CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS CONDO!!!! AND THE FACT IT HAS ELEVATORS IS A 100% PLUS,HAVE STAYED IN CONDOS W/O THEM,VERY HARD CARRYING EVERYTHING UPSTAIRS,NOT HERE,EVEN HAS GROCERY AND FLAT CARTS TO TRANSPORT STUFF.

Our Secret Getaway

Folly Beach has been our secret vacation spot for years. We’ve been renting this condo for years as well but never wrote a review. So quiet during the week and so much to do, especially for kids. Always clean and constantly being updated by the owners. Very nice new furniture in the living room and master bedroom this year (including new king mattress). The pictures don't so it justice. The place is very comfortable and accommodating, with almost everything thought of. Outside of the condo, the beach looks deeper this year, especially at high tide. And the water is still so warm and the tide very unthreatening most days. It is almost unsettling to see dolphins swim 15 yards away from you in the surf. We took a salt marsh tour with Tideline Tours this year, which was awesome. Captain Anton took us from one end of Folly to the other on the bay/river side and we saw all sorts of birds and dolphins galore. The restaurants are constantly changing on Folly, but our new favorite is the Black Bean Co. on Folly Road – fantastic, especially for vegetarian/vegan. But actual meat dishes for meatatarians, too. We highly recommend this place – just don’t take our week next year.

Very restful place

We just spent some time here and could not have been more content or happy. The condo was clean and very comfortable. We loved the bed in the master bedroom as it was very comfortable. The condo matched the description and pictures exactly only they really don't do it true justice. The view off the balcony is wonderful. And the sound of the waves is so very relaxing. I never wanted to shut the doors. We did not use the pools but they looked nice. Parking was never an issue. And it was very quiet there. We never heard anyone. There are so many restaurants that are excellent within walking distance. We loved the Lost Dog and the Crab Shack. Fishing was fun on the pier so give it a try. Dealing with the owners was easy and they were very accomodating. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the Charleston area. It is very easy to get to the city and all of the attractions in the area. Only you get the pleasure of being on the ocean. If we ever get to come back to this area this is the only place I would stay.

We've stayed in this condo for two years during the Christmas holiday. It's always a pleasant stay-clean, comfy and perfect location! Jerry is easy to work with and we've never had any issues! We keep coming back!

RETURN TRIP...GREAT ACCOMODATIONS!

This was our 2nd year staying at this condo. The location is wonderful. Easy access, great parking provided,beach access, pool access. Clean and comfortable. The owners are great to work with, and make arrangements so easy. I highly recommend this property. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops, and just short drive to downtown Charleston. We enjoyed the local eateries of The Lost Dog Cafe, Snapper Jacks, Woody's (pizza), The Grill and The Loggerhead. We were able to visit the Angel Tree, the Edmonston mansion, the Spirit of Carolina dinner cruise,and the Friends of the Hunley tour. We would recommend them all. Folly Beach has a very unique and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you Jerry and Sheila for sharing such a great place. Folly Beach has stolen our hearts!!!!!

Fabulous unit! Everything you need is there for your Folly Beach vacation! Nice furniture, nice deck furniture and kitchen supplies. Smack dab between the two elevators. Even though there are about 100 units in the building, we never felt like there were more than 20 people there! Thanks again!!!!!!!

Fantastic Folly getaway

This was a return trip to Folly Beach, and we requested the same condo. We would recommend this property to anyone. The condo is clean and well maintained. The owners are easy to contact and quick to answer questions. Check out procedures are easy, and prices are reasonable. There is a wonderful restaurant within walking distance...Locklear's Beach City Grill. Folly beach is a great family beach. Charleston is a easy, quick drive from the condo, where there are many great food choices. There are also a lot of historic sites to see...Fort Sumter, beautiful home tours, carriage rides and plantations.

Wonderful Week

This property is as advertised and more. We just spent a great week.The view is great and the condo is within walking distance to the center of Folly's where the restuarants and bars are located. The property was clean and very well equipped. It was a fabulous laid back vacation. We hope to go again next year.

This condo was in excellent condition. Well maintained. We had everything we needed. They also had the little things that we might have forgotten. Balcony was right on the beach. We would sit there and watch the dolphins come in with the low and high tides. Very convenient to Charleston. We definately will do this again. Liked security of complex. Owner very accommodating and easy to work with.

Family vacation at Folly

My family and I had a very nice visit at Folly Bch. The condo was perfect. Just enough room for all of us. The view from the balcony was gorgeous day or night. The washer dryer always adds a nice touch. We had our 2 year old grandson at the beach for the first time. I think we have a beach bum in training. The family is looking forward to returning again next year.

Family Fun at Folly Beach

The condos at Oceanfront Villas were loads of fun. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the basics. We loved having a washing machine and dryer in the unit for all of our messy beach towels. We have two little girls age 3 and 1 and when we weren't beachside playing in the water we were at the pool. There were these great shopping cart things that were wonderful to help us unload at check in and check out. The great thing for my husband was that we could walk to go out to dinner so no car needed. Folly has great little restaurants. Some of our favorites included Little Mama's, Taco Boy and Lost Dog Cafe. I would highly reccommend a trip to Folly Beach it was relaxing and beautiful and I can't wait to go back!

We were fortunate enough to return this past spring to Folly with family and friends.We all loved everything about the condo,the location,the view,the wonderful accommadations,everything you could hope for in a vacation home.The owners,the make sure you have all you would need.The cleaning crew is wonderful!All was great!!!!!!The condo was immaculate. My wife wants to do the spring to see all the manolias in bloom. So I guess you hear from us around April, May 07. The Crab Shack was great, and Antolini's Pizza on Folly Beach Rd. is the best pizza. Six of us girls made this a family reunion for us.There were some from Atlanta,Valdeese NC,and Marietta SC.It was a return vistit for the ones in Marietta.We were soooooo pleased with the accomodations,the superb layout of the rooms.The views were awsume morning and evening.Watching the lovely peir lit up at night was so beautiful.Everyone was so nice.The owners make sure you have everything to make you comfortable.We are so grateful to Jerry and Sheila for sharing their wonderful condo with us,many thanks and we will be back!!!!! We enjoyed the beautiful views from the condo as we vacationed at Folly Beach. The pictures on the website cannot show you how spectacular and close you are to the beach! The sunrise each morning over the ocean is breathtaking as you sit out on the balcony and sip your morning coffee. Perfect location for anyone, but especially for a family as it is easy and quick to get the kids to the beach and pool. Thanks for a great getaway vacation! we will be back.
