  We really had a wonderful two month stay in the villa. The villa was well decorated and clean, exactly as described. It was very well equipped and all appliances were fully functional. The pool area which was very private was great (even down to having it's resident humming bird) with lounges, gazebo, barbecue and table and chairs. The rear patio with table and chairs overlooking the golf course was great for a quite drink. We found Gary and Gwen a pleasure to deal with. All questions were answered immediately and everything was as promised. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends and should we ever travel again to the area hopefully the villa would be available.

  We very much enjoyed our stay at this property, which was exactly as described. It was all very clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Everything (swimming pool, appliances, washer and dryer, nat gas BBQ, garage door opener etc.) was in excellent working order. Lots of kitchen tools and plates and glasses etc., and a full complement of pots and pans. We thought the property's layout was ideal, with a gated and enclosed pool area at the front that included a gazebo with table and chairs (as well as lounge chairs in the sun), and a walk-out patio at the back alongside the golf course. Our 19-month old daugher felt at home right away and loved the pool. Gary and Gwen the owners were terrific and attentive to our needs. The location in Palm Desert was excellent and there were numerous and ample shopping opportunities in the area. We especially liked the nearby Trader Joe's grocery store. The Palm Desert Country Club golf course on which the house borders was a very nice facility and extremely convenient. The house sits near the 10th fairway green, so golfers don't start arriving until a little later in the morning, and the house is far enough away from the 10th tee that golfers' drives can't reach it (unless maybe Phil Mickelson happens to be playing). A hedge shields the patio from the golf course anyway. Overall, a great place to stay in Palm Desert.

  Wonderfully decorated house. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool is beautiful and there is plenty of lounging furniture and pool toys. We have rented a lot of houses in the Palm Desert area and this is by far the very best. It is in the best location, close to everything. Thanks Gwen and Gary, we had a most wonderful time and will always have the memories to share with our grandchildren. Happy New Year! Carolyn & Terry

  Stayed 10 days. The house is spacious, clean and well-maintained. Pool area is secluded with lots of privacy. All the creature comforts you need. Music by the pool, DVD selection and satellite TV, fireplace and a very comfy bed. It was like going on vacation with all the comforts of home. Golfed at several nice courses within minutes. Indian Wells Resort is right around the corner and one of the nicest courses i have played. Would definitely recommend to others.

  My husband and I just returned from a week at this rental property. The home is excellent. The pictures accurately represent the home. The owners are wonderful to deal with and have thought of everything. The kitchen is fully equipped for those that wish to cook in. We enjoyed the central location of the home. It is near everything including restaurants, shopping and even two organic farmers markets in Palm Desert and La Quinta. It was great to wake in the morning and look out at the humming birds in the courtyard. The pool is extremely private and is surrounded by wonderful lighting and landscaping and is reminiscent of a European Villa Courtyard and includes a great a view of the mountains. This home is a must rent for anyone who is seeking a private relaxing vacation.

  We had a brilliant stay here in Aug/Sept 2009. House and pool excellent quality, in quiet location yet convenient with short drive to local shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to friends and family despite the long journey from the UK. We also found the owners extremely helpful and their instructions/guidance very useful. Having rented holiday properties before, and found some of these to be somewhat basic, this house was like a true home from home with every luxury. Many thanks Gwen and Gary.

  We stayed at this property for a week in April. The property is very well maintained and is exactly how it looks in the pictures. A very clean, modern and well equiped home. Awesome pool and spa in a very private backyard. Perfect for rest and relaxation and soaking up the sun. The owners were great to deal with and there were no surprises. Would not hesitate to rent this property again.

  Wow! Top of the line everything! High end remodel looks wonderful!! Great home. Very private and quite.The pool was SO nice: warm, clean and great on the skin (salt water system).Really enjoyed! Will be back for sure!
