We had a really great time. Had a few issues with the cabin but was discussed with the owner and things were taken care of. When I plan a trip up there again I would defiantly stay here again. The owner has great customer service and provides you with a lot of information of the area before you even get there. I cannot say that there was anything about the area that I didn't like. The listing and description of the property is very accurate. I would defiantly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to have a nice quiet vacation with beautiful mountain views!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family and I had a wonderful tim for the few days we were there. It was the perfect getaway from the beach during the Spring Break week here on Hilton Head Island. My boys loved exploring around the cabin and were on the lookout for black bears. The cabin was clean and was the perfect size for the 4 of us. We spent one day in Cherokee and one day at Bryson City. We also spent a lot of time exploring the waterfalls and creeks in between! We would love to come back and stay again! Thank you for everything! StaceyRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My husband, 1.5 year old son, 2 dogs, and I had a wonderful stay at this perfectly-sized, wonderful little cabin. Despite the rain and cold, we had a great time staying inside, cooking, relaxing, and enjoying the holiday week together. We found the location to be perfect with wonderful views of surrounding mountains, and easy access to a lot of waterfalls and hikes. If you are looking for quiet place to escape for a bit, this is one for you. We can't wait to get there again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This cabin is absolutely delightful. The interior is nicely appointed... very comfortable. All is as advertised, and our Prius was able able to navigate the steep winding driveway without any problems. There are great restaurants in all price ranges within 10-15 minutes of the Cabin. And, the "Major Nationwide WM Store" is also 10 to 12 minutes away, in case you "forgot anything". We picked blackberries for a pie, but we ate them all with ice cream before we could make the pie. We'll have to return to try again. Thank you to the Owner for making our stay enjoyable, and for the timely information when needed. Just the Greatest!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The cabin was absolutely fantastic! Even prettier than the photos. The driveway is steep, but after the first trip up, no one had a problem with it. The view is fabulous and everything we wanted to do was within a 45 minute drive or less. We will definitely be coming back, Thank you Cyndy and HomeAway. Ps I also recommend Horseshoe Creek Riding Stables @ 1386 Stewart Rd, Andrews, NC 828-321-2376. The owner was both very friendly and professional. The horses were in great shape and well trained. Our group had 2 greenhorns, 1 experienced and 1 who had not ridden in 15 years. All want to go back. For Gem mining fans, I recommend the Gold and Gem mine in Cherokee near the casino. See you all soon. Thanks again, Pat & DaveDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was the perfect cabin for my family of four. The cabin is larger than it appears in pictures. We loved its location, not far from all of the activities we did. Peaceful getaway away from it all, but had wifi. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Best price with a great view! We didn't want to leave.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I stayed in this cabin for the weekend and it was perfect for us. We were blown away by the view from the front porch as we spent a great deal of our time there sitting on the porch reading and watching the sun set/rise over the mountains. The cabin was also extremely clean and well furnished, leaving very little to be desired. Cindy was also very accomidating, this was a last minute trip for us and there were no issues reserving and occupying the cabin within the same day. In short, we loved our stay and will rent this very well priced cabin again the next time we need a weekend to sit back and recharge from our hectic work schedules.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway.

The property is just as described in both the property description and in the previous reviews. The location is beautiful and offers excellent views. The road leading to the cabin is very steep and requires a very capable vehicle to reach the property. We drove our front wheel drive SUV but I could see how a car could bottom out in certain parts. The cabin was in excellent condition and was very clean. The gas fireplace heats up the room within minutes and the cabin was never cold. My only complaint (which is minor) was that there was a bottle opener but the corkscrew portion was broken off. The owner was very prompt in communicating with me as I made a last minute reservation. I would recommend this property to friends and family as my stay was excellent.Owner response: Last minute reservations are no problem with the Homeaway rental agreement and payment system. I am careful to respond in a prompt manner. The view is beautiful because the cabin is nestled mountain-side. The trail is accessible with a car but is best traveled with a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive car or truck. I have a small car that I drive to the cabin in and I have no problems but it is best to have a rear or all wheel drive. Thanks!

This place was amazing! Much bigger in person than in the pictures. The drive up to the cabin is a bit steep and nerve racking at night (in a Ford Focus), but gives an absolutely beautiful view of the valley below. Located less than 2 hours from Chattanooga, TN and Asheville, NC, this was the perfect little getaway with big cities nearby. The place was very clean and the bed was pretty comfy. I can't say enough about the driving though. My girlfriend and I had the most fun driving up and down the snow covered mountains. We honestly doubled our drive time because we had to get out and take in the beautiful countryside every few minutes. An absolute steal for the price! You should see it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We stayed at this cabin during Christmas, and the pictures on here don't do it justice..the views are so beautiful, and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. Everything you need is here, and it was only a few minutes away from Walmart! We spent a couple days just on the front porch and the back yard was also just so peaceful and beautiful, had a campfire too. We ate at the Diner next to Zekes trail, had the catfish, and it was delicious. The beds in the cabin were VERY comfortable! Cindy, the owner was the greatest and went way beyond being a gracious and generous hostess. I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin. Also, the location was great to go to several sights, We loved the Cherohala Skyway..beautiful, and cades Cove, Joyce Kilmer Forest. Thank you so much Cindy!! Owner response: It is a great location and home base for sightseeing and adventures. I love the Mountainside Diner; its literally just down the trail!
