Located approximately 60 miles south of Houston, 25 miles west of Galveston's Seawall, and 13 miles from the cozy Surfside community, this spectacular home is just seconds away from San Luis Pass, just minutes from the Gulf, and just a few blocks to nearby beaches, convenience store, and bait camp. It is the perfect place for that family vacation or event, family reunion, or a small wedding or reception. Come share in the panorama and spectacular views of San Luis Pass and the glistening waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You will find upscale furnishings and design throughout this 2500 square foot house. The master bedroom is immense with a modern spacious master bath and double sinks. The sun-bathed living, dining and kitchen areas are maximized for space for continuity among all guests.
Just outside these areas is a grand deck that is intentionally designed to provide lots of breezes, sunshine, as well as shade throughout the day. There you will find outdoor seating and table, a fish-cleaning table and sink area, buffet table and two charcoal grills. You will be thrilled at the sunrises, sunsets, and evening moons afforded to you at this ideal retreat.
DID I MENTION that we provide convenient, fenced-in, and covered parking for multiple vehicles? We are in a community haven that is quaint, private, and peaceful and at the end of a cul-de-sac which is great for walking, jogging, or just playing with the kids. You will have access to our community lighted fishing pier and neighborhood boat launch. Downstairs beneath the house are extended waterfront built-in benches, crab traps, double stadium lights for cool night fishing, an attractive tiled area with table and chairs, a picnic table, a barrel smoker, and a constant breeze. As an added convenience, you will find an electric boat lift and a double jet-ski lift. (The homeowners retain the right to keep their private boat at the dock.)
HISTORIC GALVESTON is just a short drive along the scenic coastal highway. Extend your cruise (or come early!) and partake of the riches of Galveston Island: Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens, The Seawall, downtown Strand, museums, shopping, restaurants, The Grand 1894 Opera House, Mardi Gras in February, the ETC (East-end Theatre Company), and numerous year-round cultural experiences.
