Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath Sonora Model upgraded with a fireplace and screened-in patio room. There is a 2-car garage, it is nicely landscaped, with a care-free yard and carpeted bedrooms with tile flooring elsewhere. There are ceiling fans in all rooms. Television in Family Room is a 42 Inch LCD Flat Screen with satellite service including Premium Movie Channels. There is a second TV with the same satellite service in the Master Bedroom. All windows have plantation shutters. A small dog is acceptable. The minimum age for Saddlebrooke residents is now 40, although children can visit for short periods.
Renters are able to receive 2 temporary resident cards per household that allow them to access all homeowner amenities and facilities - no extra charge. They are also entitled to receive visitor passes for their guests.
We purchased this home in September 2009 and have completely redecorated the home, with new paint throughout and nice furnishings. Our rent is well below average rates for SaddleBrooke and it is available throughout the year. This is a nice quiet neighborhood with great neighbors.

We had a wonderful time in your home. Our grandchildren live 6 miles away. They loved coming to "Papa & Grandma's" home. Our stay was beyond what we dreamed it could be. About the owner: The owners have been permanent residents of the Tucson area for the past 17 years, returning after retiring from careers that last had them in St. Paul, MN. John retired from a Management position with the U. S. Forest Service and Sharlot retired from a Computer Programmer position with the U. S. Postal Service. Sharlot was born in Prescott, AZ and first moved to Tucson at age 6. John was born in Chicago and first came to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona. They presently live in a home in the Catalina Foothills area of the City of Tucson. John is a musician and has frequently played for events in SaddleBrooke, including the annual Oktoberfest celebration in the HOA #1 Clubhouse with his polka band, the 'Bouncing Czechs.' John is also an award winning artist and the home has several of his oil paintings on the walls.
Why the Owner Chose Saddlebrooke:
They purchased this home in September, 2009 as an investment and to set the stage for their eventually moving full-time to SaddleBrooke. John's brother and his wife also currently live in SaddleBrooke. John and Sharlot have enjoyed travel, having been to all seven continents. But they have never found a place that makes them feel more at home than Tucson. Their two children and their families, as well as a large extended family, also live in the Tucson area

We've enjoyed the amenities of Saddlebrooke - golf, tennis, pickleball, swimming, exercise facilities, etc. This home is located conveniently so you can enjoy all of the clubhouses, and is especially close to the newest one in the 'Preserve.' The Desert View Theater has year-round stage and movie entertainment. The club houses offer nice places to meet with friends and grab a cocktail or bite to eat. The several Saddlebrooke restaurants are wonderful. There are organized clubs and activities for almost any interest, and you will enjoy the other Saddlebrooke residents, as well.
