Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: Jack’s friends and family have poured countless hours into cleaning and refurbishing the 1924 built cabin to make it what it is today. Great care has been put into the property by these people to fix things big (gas heating, plumbing) and small (spring on the back door, little feet under the refrigerator) and has been worked on out of hearts of love. You will notice many of the rooms and parts of the property have been named after these fine folks.
Why the Owner Chose Allenspark:
Back in the day, Jack and a few of his friends started a tradition to road trip out to Milford Lake in Kansas for a “fish and camp” adventure. Gradually over the years this tradition grew to more than just camping and fishing at Milford Lake...they were traveling all over but still kept up with their Milford Lake roots. In 2008, Jack decided it would be fun to have a permanent place here in Colorado where we could adventure close to home as well. This led to finding the beautiful cabin in AllensPark.

It is definately a unique experience to stay in a real log cabin! Our minds often wonder about how life must have been for the original owners and builders of this sweet little place. Whether you are relaxing on the front porch or back creekside deck, or grilling up a great burger for dinner, or playing yatze with the gang around the kitchen table, or watching your favorite movie on the big screen tv...connecting with those you are traveling with will be highlight! We believe that our cabin lends itself perfectly to giving you that opportunity to connect...so we look forward to having you over very soon!
