My husband and I stayed for a week with our two teenage daughters. We found the Unit exactly as pictured.... very clean, and comfortable and the property well maintained. We enjoyed being on the top floor, and hardly ever had to wait on elevators. Carts are available for load in/out. They had umbrella service, but most folks brought their own chairs and ez ups. We loved using the private dock at night for crabbing (located across the street). Kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, we even used the grill by the pool one night. We noticed a patio light out one night, called the office, and it was changed the next day. The Hangout was a great place for the girls to go. They also drove to the Tanager Outlet one day which was about 25 minutes away. Bahama Bobs and Sea n Suds are two of our favorite lunchtime eateries, but we chose to drive there since the walk was a little more than what we wanted to do. We went to Lulus for the first time. It was a fun, touristy atmosphere, but we had a 2 hour wait on a Friday night. We were expecting a wait, and we all agreed the food was worth it. There is a convenience store very close to Condo when we had to pick up a few quick items, but we took the 7 minute drive to Brunos to get our groceries. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, and would stay there again. The only reason I didn't rate the overall experience as excellent is that it wasn't a 5 star hotel with maid service and continental breakfast. Thanks for a great place to stay!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family enjoyed our vacation in this area, in this unit, and on the easily-accessible beach. Some of the beach areas near the high-rise condos were quite crowded, but at this complex we were able to find a good beach spot every day. Rental beach loungers and umbrellas were available, but we took our own and set up closer to the water’s edge. The covered parking was nice to access the car out of the hot Florida sun and the daily pop-up showers. Access to this unit, which is four floors above ground level (fifth physical floor), is via a single non-air-conditioned elevator or one of two stairwells at either end. The unit seemed well-maintained for its age. The kitchen was adequately supplied with essential cookware and utensils. The second bathroom and separate twin beds were a plus for my children. The queen-size mattress in the master bedroom was a bit saggy, though. The listing stated a DVD player was available, but only a VCR was found. The listing also said wireless internet was available, but I was later told by the agent that access must be purchased through a local provider for $8/day or $20/week; and I found the signal quality to be poor. There is a sleeper sofa that the listing doesn't mention, but judging from the way the sofa sagged when sitting on it, I wouldn't want to attempt using the sleeper. Eight washcloths and bath towels were supplied. There were extra pillows and bedding (I assume for the sleeper sofa) in the master bedroom closet. An iron and ironing board were supplied. Ample clothes washing detergent had been left behind. For the most part, it was fairly quiet. One exception was some people talking loudly and laughing--evidently on a nearby balcony--at midnight one evening. Several times each day (and sometimes night) we heard an emergency vehicle pass by with its sirens blaring. The closest pool is over 8 feet in depth in the deep end--it was enjoyable for a six-foot-plus guy to be able step off into it and fully submerse--but parents of non-swimmers should take heed. The listing says there are two pools, but I did not know where the second pool was located, and I didn’t go searching for it. Check-in at the agent’s office was between 3 and 5, and we had to be out of the unit by 10:00 a.m. The rental deposit was returned via mailed check in less than a week.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.
