If you prefer, simply enjoy relaxing at the house. The bank of the beautiful Little North Fork river is only steps from the door. Please note: The river rises and falls with the amount of rainfall in the area. It is not dam controlled.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. The home was in immaculate shape. No vacation rental we have stayed in before even compares to this one. You could tell the owner and property manager really care about this property, and work hard to ensure it is kept clean. There are plenty of wonderful hikes within a few miles of the front door, and getting to Portland from this home was a breeze. The master suite was amazing, we really enjoyed waking up to a spectacular view of the river. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who enjoys the outdoors or simply likes relaxing.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The waterfall and river provided an especially soothing affect. So peaceful. The house was very clean and every attention to detail was special. Fresh daffodils through out the house. Sweets and treats. A very nice place. We will be back! Thank you. I just needed a place to spend a couple nights between ski trips; this was the perfect place between Salem, Portland and Bend; little did I know that it would be a slice of heaven on earth! I arrived after sunset and had no idea what I would wake up to; what a shock, the river is incredible, and the views from every window are unreal… just the sound of it puts you right to sleep at night. One added huge bonus is how spotless this house is. My wife is a clean freak and I know this place would pass her white glove test. Next time I’m bringing my wife, Casa Nirvana is a perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or a special occasion.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: We welcome you and your wife any time. Thank you for your kind words. ~ Cindy

In the midst of the small community of Lyons is this lovely house, located directly on the shores of the Santiam river. The house is IMMACULATE. For those who enjoy cooking, the kitchen is fully stocked with dishware and cookware. The master bedroom is expansive and the bed was amazingly comfortable. A very large -- and extremely clean - master bath room. Close-up views from the river are available from the master bedroom, the living room and the kitchen. When I visited, it was drizzly and a bit chilly so I used the pellet stove in the living room. It heated the house very quickly. If you are interested in hiking, the owner has organized a comprehenive list of trails located nearby. I particularly enjoyed Silver Falls State Park, Opal Creek and a scenic hike along the North Fork of the Santiam River. Outstanding views of the Oregon wilderness and and opportunity to experience the natural beauty of this area. For dining, Trexler Farms is a true find. The cafe is open for breakfast and lunch; the owner is very personable and prepares meals using fresh ingredients and her own brand of creativity. A go-to must! The owner has compiled a notebook of resources (dining, recreation, places of interest) that is very helpful to a first-time visitor to the area. You won't be disappointed!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Dear Susan, I am so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Casa Nirvana. Please consider coming again very soon. I consider this home a piece of heaven on earth and wish to share it with others who might be looking for their own sliver to enjoy from time to time. All the best, Cindy

We just needed a break from life for a few days and Casa Nirvana was ideal. We arrived at night and threrefore could not see the breath taking views. When we awoke to the beautiful waterfall we knew this would be a wonderful time away. The house is full of fun little items to look at. The property was very clean and coming from a "neat freak" that says a lot. If anything I would say the pictures do nothing for the landscape but maybe that's part of the fantastic surprise.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your kind review regarding Casa Nirvana. Huge kudos to my property manager Cheryl for taking such good care of the house. She is a gem and puts her heart and soul into making certain everything is perfect. Please come again soon; we welcome you anytime. Regards, Cindy

We spent a week at Casa Nirvana....what a wonderful experience! The home far exceeded our expectations...it is comfortable, very well equipped (we LOVE to cook!), and the location is perfect. Morning coffee on the deck listening to the river was the absolute best.
