"Veridian Bungalow" is one of Cape May Point's most prominent homes, designed and built by it's owners, Tom & Gabrielle Larkin in the Craftsman architectural style. Situated on a corner lot, "Veridian Bungalow" is surrounded by native plantings and trees, attracting birds, butterflies and other indigenous creatures throughout the changing seasons.
Enjoy a short, two block walk to Alexander Avenue beach to share beautiful sunsets each night with dolphin pods who play, feed and sleep in the waters just off this beach. Stites Avenue beach, also an easy, tree lined walk is a guarded beach safe for children of all ages to play in its waters. Another short walk to the "Circle", a grassy park area is a perfect spot for an after the beach stroll, game of catch or a picnic.
Bring your bicycles, riding is easy and convenient at the Point and will allow quick access to the Lighthouse State Park and Nature Preserve. Renting bikes is a quick phone call prior to your visit and they'll be waiting for your arrival. Our shed is a great place to store all your beach items and bicycles.
Cape May Point is a quiet, family oriented community of 600 homes. Peace and tranquility are awaiting you.

This Arts and Crafts cottage was just gorgeous ... clearly the owners have a great sense of style ... everything was top-quality, and everywhere you turned there was some other sweet detail. We loved the kitchen, the porch, the master bedroom...all really lovely. There is also a fantastic piano for anyone who plays. In terms of location, the house is just a block or so to the beach and the neighborhood is so charming. Being a short walk from the Red Store restaurant was a big plus. We (husband, two teenage kids) had a great, great time.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I found our stay wonderful. The house was immaculate and the owners were always available if and when we needed them.. We recommend this property to families...Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Cape May Point is a peaceful escape from reality. Our children grew up in this small town, with the ocean and sandy beaches as their playground, in the home we designed and built focused on time to be spent together in comfort and hand-made beauty. So glad your family enjoyed all the area, and our home had to offer.

If anything, the pictures don't do this house justice. The attention to detail in the design and layout are amazing. The kitchen was not only beautiful and very functional but also extremely well equipped. The wrap around porch was our favorite place to hang out - though it would have been nice to have more porch furniture for when friends stopped by. Cape May Point is one of our favorite vacation spots and we have traveled all over the world. It is very mellow and bike and pedestrian friendly. And if you want more action, Cape May proper is only a few miles away. The beaches at the Point are beautiful and never terribly crowded. We highly recommend this house and this location to others.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
