Our family has stayed at Forest Breeze twice now and we absolutely love it. My folks are residents at the Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople so we've stayed at Forest Breeze when we've brought some of our kids and grandkids with us to visit my parents. Scott and Colleen are wonderful hosts and I would recommend this house to anybody in fact I'm getting ready to make another reservation for the end of December.Owner response: Thanks so much for the kind words! We enjoy having you as a guest with us.

Very charming, clean vacation home. The owners were very accommodating for our late arrival. We were pleasantly surprised to find snacks, water and sodas availble to us, as well as, coffee and cream for the next morning. Plenty of hot water for a family of 6! :-) Forest Breeze is secluded and yet close to everything you need. I only wish we could have spent another day just to enjoy the amenities of the home. Thank you Colleen for making us feel at home.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

My husband and I, with our 3 kids (15,13, & 7) wanted a fun but relaxing place to vacation. We have always wanted a place with our own pool so the kids could really feel free to jump in and have fun. After seeing the pictures, and reading the reviews, it looked exactly like what we were looking for. The house is in a lovely secluded spot but only a few minutes from a good grocery store which is a plus. Upon arrival, I had the family's approval. This home has a large comfy front porch, a nice back patio area, and a beautiful, large, clean pool! Although we planned on doing a lot of activities in the area, we somedays never left the area or the house! We swam everyday and most times more than a once a day! We did visit the Tour-Ed Coal Mine and the Carnegie Science Museum in Pittsburgh. It was an easy trip and the museum had parking right there. We also ate at the Shakespeare's Restaurant right around the corner. One night, Colleen stopped and brought over pizza from a local pizza place. We brought our Wii so we could watch Netflix on the TV at night. It has everything needed for a family to spend quality time together. We are planning to return soon!Owner response: Thank you so much for the fine review Carolyn! we look forward to your return in the future. Scott Rodgers

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we were home. Colleen left a note telling us to enjoy a snack or soda from the fridge. She had left us a lovely fruit basket to celebrate our anniversary. We had talked on the phone and she provided all the information we needed to make a decision to stay. The house is equipped with all the luxury items we needed - satellite TV, gas fireplace and high speed internet. We wanted for nothing because she even provided cream for my husband's coffee which was also provided. It was so nice to open that front door and feel the coziness surround you. We enjoyed the surrounding area and drove around and visited the small towns nearby and lucked upon a fabulous little restaurant "Brown's Country Kitchen". The homemade pies are wonderful! We will definitely return again, hopefully when the leaves are on the trees. We can't wait to sit around the pool or on the front porch. I would definitely recommend the Forest Breeze because it truly is the nicest weekend away we've ever had. All we wanted in a vacation was Privacy and a Pool...this is the place for your family! We ordered pizza from a local place and the gentleman that delivered said, "I've been delivering for a long time and I never knew this house was up here!" Owners were very nice and didnt BOTHER YOU! lolRecommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We just returned from our 2011 vacation. Although we enjoyed it our kids compared everything to Forest Breeze. We had spent a week at Forest Breeze in 2010. We will be returning to Forest Breeze in 2012. The kids have suggested that we continue to vacation there. The house is spotlessly clean and the pool is amazing. Colleen couldn't do more for you to make your stay perfect! We stayed here for 9 days. It was wonderful. We had a great time swimming, visiting family, going to Kennywood, the incline and the point downtown. We will definitley stay here next trip to PA. This was so much better than a hotel. Thanks Colleen and Scott. We look forward to seeing you again. My family and I recently spent a week at Forest Breeze. The house is amazing! While you're just miles from town, you are completely secluded and private while at the pool or around the house. Everything was wonderfully maintained and there was more than enough furniture for the six of us (plus two toddlers). We ended up grilling all of our own food because no one could tear themselves away from the poolside. Colleen and Scott do everything they can to make sure your stay is enjoyable. This will definitely become an annual trip for us, as none of us could imagine much better than this. Thanks again to Colleen and Scott - we are so lucky to have found you. See you soon. Our stay a Forest Breeze was perfect in every way. The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained and Colleen and Scott were amazing in making sure our stay was comfortable. The beautiful setting is so peaceful and we spent many hours sittting on the front porch, just enjoying nature. The pool was always sparkling clean, and there were plenty of lounge chairs as well a patio table and umbrella. You couldn't ask for anything more - a quiet setting, yet close enough to Pittsburgh. Thanks, Colleen and Scott! JillRecommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.
