Located at Porteau Cove Provincial Park, the Olympic Legacy Cabin overlooks Howe Sound and Vancouver Island is your home away from home.
The Olympic Legacy Cabin was built by Pioneer Log Homes of Williams Lake, British Columbia as a legacy of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Originally used by BC Parks and the Ministry of Environment as an information hub at the Olympic Games, the Ministry has donated this cabin to Porteau Cove Provincial Park for all to enjoy.
The fully furnished one bedroom and loft cabin provides a great opportunity to escape to the outdoors with all the comforts of home such as a three-piece bathroom and kitchenette. A BBQ and patio set are also situated on the patio overlooking Howe Sound.
Porteau Cove Provincial Park is located just 30 minutes outside of Vancouver, British Columbia and is the most southern Fijord in North America that has many recreational opportunities such as camping, hiking, swimming, diving, wind surfing and boating.
A second cabin, identical to this one, is available for rent.

My husband, daughter and I recently stayed in one of the new Olympic Legacy cabins at Porteau Cove. We have always loved Porteau Cove for its spectacular location and scenery, but the addition of these gorgeous new cabins brought our experience to a whole other level. The cabins are so much more beautiful than we had anticipated, with hand carved detailing outside and a bright, clean, welcoming atmosphere inside. The cabins are very well equipped, with not a detail forgotten. We loved the spacious deck with patio furniture and barbeque, and the view from the deck was quite simply breathtaking. We enjoyed every moment of our trip and would stay again in a heartbeat. We have already begun recommending these cabins to our friends as the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of nature while maintaining all of the comforts of home.Did you find this review helpful?
