AWESOME HOUSE! This house is brand new, all new appliances, cabinetry, flooring throughout. Beautiful home slept my family of 5 comfortably and with privacy for all. 2 ample bedrooms with full living room, 2 couches. Multiple outdoor seating areas including 3 porch beds. Hosts have stocked basic living items for cooking and cleaning, towels, linens, etc. Even had kayaks and canoe which we used to paddle to restaurant 2 minutes upstream, my 11 year old LOVED kayaking. The river was calm in October and completely safe, very shallow at some points. All photo's do not do this place justice. Living room MUCH larger than expected. HUGE deck. TV has cable with premium channels, karaoke machine in armoire, Wifi access, my cell service with AT&T worked great. Our stay included my husband running the Healdsburg Half Marathon, it was about 25 minutes drive there, or Jenner Beach (Pacific Ocean), shopping in Petaluma, and, of course, AMAZING wine tasting. Korbel is 1.5 miles from this house, free tastings! Kendall Jackson is en route from Hwy 101. I cannot recommend this house enough. The town of Guernville is artsy with amazing gastronomic delights, like most Napa area towns, but with a home town, mountainous feel. I felt I could move in here.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This property at the Russian River was an excellent choice. It was right on the river, with a great deck to enjoy the outdoors. The views of the Russian River are outstanding. While not a large house, it was very comfortable and nicely equiped. Best of all, the location was perfect, as it was on the other side of the river from the main road, so it was quiet. The property included a canoe and two kayaks, which were wonderful and could be used for an easy paddle a short way to visit the Stumptown Brewery. We would stay there again and recommend it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I recently had a wonderful stay here. The house was clean, comfortable and is in a great location. There are other homes nearby, however, the home itself is very private and surrounded by trees on either side. The home has large windows that face the river, which provide a great view of the river. We spent the mornings bird watching - we were lucky enough to see an Osprey catch a fish, and kayaking in the afternoon. We had our dog with us. Each morning we took a walk around the surrounding area, which is beautiful. I would recommend this house and would be happy to return for another stay in the future.Did you find this review helpful? My friends and I had a fabulous time at this retreat place for my 40th birthday celebration weekend. The view from the house was gorgeous. It was overcast and rainy during our stay, but it didn't keep us from venturing out! We love the house...it was perfect for our party of 5! We took a walk along Drake Road and found a beautiful vineyard...the leaves during this time was beautiful shades of red and orange. People in town were so friendly and welcoming...there are a few good eatery in town and a great coffee place with a bookstore next door. We will have to come back in the Spring! This is definitely one of our favorite weekend getaway! Thanks Bill for making the reservation an easy process! Buu & FriendsDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

I agree with the previous review that the house was even nicer than the pictures and description indicate. Great location just minutes from town, but away from the noise of River Rd. Having our own dock, a canoe and two kayaks was the highlight for us - we were out on the river every day. The huge deck overlooking the river with both gas and bbq grills, dining table, bar, etc was another great feature. The interior was well appointed with a modern kitchen, two TVs with cable, and windows all along the river side offfering sweeping views of the river and hills. The owner was very responsive and we were able to handle the entire process by email. It was much easier than working with a rental agency. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Was skeptical as this being my first time reserving via VRBO but I was more than pleased with my stay here. The pictures don't do this place justice. The views of the river from most of the house and the huge outside deck is fantastic. The choices of many boats(canoes, kayaks and row boat)was ideal and we were on the river daily. The massive Redwood next to the house is breathtaking without hindering our view of the river. Kitchen, beds, bbq grills and seating were more than enough. Can't say enough about the location. Great stay!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway.

Hi Bill, I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful stay at your home. Your house is beautiful and very clean in a perfect location. Love all the amenities and really appreciated all the different boxes with supplies, dog towels, doggy bed and stocked supply of spices. (and the big bag of coffee) The deck was huge and great!! Loved sitting on the side deck enjoying the afternoon sun with a glass of wine. :) Our dog was in heaven, kept swimming over to pirate island or chasing the ducks down river.. We had lots of fun with the kayaks and the canoe. Looked like there will be a hot tub in the future, that will be awesome!! Thank you so much and we will certainly recommend your home to anyone needing a place to stay in Russian river. All the best,Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.
