  Very good stay here at East Rim condo and the snow was just incredible this year! This is our 3rd visit to Durango for skiing and stayed in another unit in building B of East Rim on our previous visits. The accommodations of this unit were more than adequate for 4 adults and 2 children, and the price was one of the best we could find. The unit was clean and well cared for and had very convenient access to DMR. The view from the living room was breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the snow fall every evening after skiing. The owner was very accommodating and provided us access to a ski locker which was convenient in the mornings. The only negatives are as follows: Getting out of the upstairs bedroom requires passing through the other bedroom/loft to get to the spiral staircase, and down to the living area. It was a little awkward since we were there with friends and not family. Negotiating the spiral staircase coming down was a bit tricky since the steps were very narrow especially with tired legs from skiing all day. A bit of kindling or newspaper to start the nightly fire would have been nice, but wasn't insurmountable for us. Also, there are no window treatments on the downstairs level but that didn't really bother us too much since the views were so great. The only other negative was the fridge made a loud humming/vibrating noise which was a bit of a nuisance when trying to sleep. Other than the aforementioned items which we wouldn't consider deal breakers by any means, this was a great stay for us. These were the only reasons for not rating the property experience excellent. However, you would be hard pressed to find the amenities or convenient access to Purgatory for this kind of value. We would definitely stay again!

  We have visited Durango several times, but this was our first time at this condo. We stayed here with another family and it was great. The condo was just as expected and everything leading up to our stay was easy. The managers are organized and very responsive, which was much better than we experienced when trying to finalize details for a different condo close to this one. We would definitely come back here and recommend this to others.

  Our family loves this condo. It was located just across from the main lodge and was easy to get to the slopes and the pool. The unit was spacious and comfortable. The towels were plush. We used the BBQ grill to cook dinner. We will definitely stay here again

  We stayed at this property in August 2011 with two adults and a toddler. The location is fantastic - we found ourselves well situated to make easy day trips to Mesa Verde, Pagosa Springs, Durango (of course) but we really enjoyed being more in the mountains and having our own space and kitchen at the end of the day. This condo allows access to the VERY nice Durango Mountain Resort Club which included a well-equipped workout room and the pool. The kitchen is well stocked with almost all the cooking utensils you want and the beds are very comfy. I will say this property is a bit dicey with a toddler, as the spiral staircase presented a challenge (he wanted to climb it - so we had to keep it blocked - and carrying him up/down was a little tense) and the rails on the deck felt just far enough apart that he could have slipped through, so we kept that blocked, too. No fault of the property, just things to be aware of if you have a tiny one. There are so many activities at Durango Mountain Resort and we can't wait to come back when our toddler is a bit bigger. I'd highly recommend this property.

  My family of four was able to enjoy this great condo over the christmas to new year's break. The condo is clean & well maintained with newer appliances/fixtures. The convenience of the condo's location to the lodge is priceless! You are just steps away from the base of the mountain & all of the conveniences of the lodge. A great experience with the owner's & a great time had by our family!!!

  This condo was by far the nicest place my family has ever stayed at in any location that we have vacationed. It was extremely clean and was even nicer than the pictures showed! The bedding, furnishings and decor were at least as nice as our home! My family would stay here again. Also, Chris, the property manager, was extremely nice and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
