  This condo was cute, cozy, and crazy clean! It seemed recently updated, also. I loved having the windows open to enjoy the ocean breezes. Super convenient to everywhere -- walking distance to the beach, to shops and to restaurants. Really close drive to grocery stores, etc. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Kona. I was very happy staying here and it was very safe and secure -- gated condo community and deadbolts on the doors. I even felt safe at night using only the screen door (deadbolt on the screen door, also). I am from Dallas, Texas and this was my first time to visit Hawaii. Staying here made my first visit to Kona all the better. You will not be disappointed, I promise! If you are a triathlete -- you are super close to all the Kona Courses -- run, bike and swim. This is why I came.

  Really great place. Owners left a wonderful guest basket with local food from farmers market were easy to get a hold of, and they were always helpful.. The condo was very centrally located, which made it easy to walk downtown to restaurants and the beach. IT was very clean and obviously well cared for. It was great for our family of 4 including two small chidlren

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

  This is a great place to stay and very reasonably priced. It's very clean with fluffy bath & beach towels, really soft sheets and a yummy gift basket. Looks just like the pictures! Even in the warmest part of the summer, it stayed very comfortable inside. If you are a scuba diver, we would also recommend Pacific Rim Divers which the owners run as well.

  We stayed here for the second time last month. As other have said, the location is perfect for exploring Kailua Kona on foot. You can easily walk to many of the best restaurants downtown and there is great shopping nearby. We liked the fact that the unit has its own parking space. If you rent a car this is a great place from which to explore the Big Island. The unit is very clean and well maintained. If you are scuba divers we definitely recommend you try diving with Frank & Patrice (Pacific Rim Divers). Their boat is small enough to give you very personal service without the crowds of the larger dive operations.

  My husband and I stayed here for one week and found the location perfect. It is walkable to the hot spots on Ali'i Drive and also to the Kona Brewery area. The unit is clean and uncluttered, with plenty of closet space to hang clothes and stash empty suitcases. The little extras were a nice touch: cooler, beach mats, beach towels, and of course the welcome basket of goodies. And Owners Frank and Patrice are organized and easy to communicate with.

  We really enjoyed the unit, CLEAN, WELL STOCKED, GREAT LOCATION! This was a very comfortable apt. loved the gift basket. We have stayed at the Kailua Village for the last 5 years (first time in this unit) this is the nicest one we have rented, we look forward to staying here in the future. The Hartman's

  My husband and I stayed here December 2011 and were happy with the condo. The description of the location was accurate with the outdoor market practically in the back yard and a short walk to the ocean and main attractions/restaurants. The owners were great at answering any questions that we might have had. We would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone.

  We just got back from our stay on Kona and had an amazing experience staying at Frank and Patrice's condo right in the heart of downtown. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well-stocked with all the necessities, and ready to go with a thoughtful basket of fruit and local goodies. We loved the ocean and mountain breezes coming in and out, and Frank was super attentive and responsive. He called or returned calls more then once with suggestions and help comments that were gems. The bottom line is that we got exactly what we wanted...a great condo, great location 5 minutes to the downtown area for dining and shopping and swimming, and a great price. The best part...we didn't need a car at all, from buying fresh papaya and eating on the beach to dining and drinks at night. We loved our vacation...thanks guys.

  We had a great time in the condo in Kailua-Kona. It was so close to everything in town; shops, restaurants, night life and the farmers market. The condo was well appointed, we were able to cook a lot of meals in. The brownies were delicious, thanks for making our stay such a treat!

  This condo is incredibly conveniently located close to everything! Parking was very convenient...a reserved spot for the condo! The condo felt very safe as you need a specific key to access the building. The inside furnishings are tasteful, very clean and comfortable. The condo had more than enough room for the two of us. The kitchen has ample counter space and has all the necesseties for a week or two or longer stay! The owners are absolutely fabulous. They live in Kona and so are readily available when needed, yet they completely respect your privacy during the stay. I loved sitting on the lanai (balcony) and having my morning coffee while looking at the ocean. The fresh fruit and coffee left for us by the owners were much appreciated. Restaurants, activities and access to the harbor and beaches/snorkeling are all very close by. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
