Why the Owner Chose Key Colony Beach
In 2005 we found vacation home paradise in Key Colony Beach. We adore this community because its quiet and offers all the amenities of a small town. The little post office and shops are quaint and friendly. And, best of all, Key Colony is close to other major islands....Key West, Islamorda, Key Largo for more sun and fun.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love go to Sharky's grill and bar (try the Mahi tacos!) for Happy Hour or dinner after a long day of fishing! The Stuffed Pig is one of our favorite breakfast joints. We also enjoy family walks around the island, to watch the sunset, and along the scenic seven mile bridge. Key West is an easy drive but, if it's during holiday season, be sure to allow yourself extra time for the traffic. Keep your eyes out for lots of wildlife! We often see large iguanas, manatees, sea turtles, dolphins, and many beautiful birds.

Great place! We stayed here during Thangsgiving week which is traditionally a slow week. Loved the kitchen set up as it seemed to have everything you needed if you wanted to cook. We only had two couples and the only comment is that the third bedroom is really set off from the main bathroom. Rental agency was nice to work with except the cleaning folks required checking out by 9 am and we had directions to do the linens...beds, towels, dishes/etc., which was somewhat difficult unless you got up early. Also there wasn't laundry soap. Glad we had brought some for cleaning our clothes which we used to clean linens. You would think they would supply such, since the cleaning fee is one of the highest on VRBO KEy Colony rentals. We would consider renting it in the future.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers.

Very well appointed house. Clean and very comfortable. Excellent communications with owners who were quick to address some minor problems. Great location and we will be renting again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Great rental in Key Colony Beach. Very clean and nicely furnished. Perfect location for easy access to both Gulf & Atlantic side.
