We spent a girls weekend here (5 of us) and had a blast! We ate at Captain Ron's and drove the short distance to Osage Beach to shop the outlets. The view from the house and deck provided a soothing, relaxing experience any time of the day. The beds were comfortable, the house was very tastefully decorated and clean with leather couches and hardwood floors. Very classy and comfortable. It was late September so we didn't swim but did get to watch kayak races as they occurred right in the no-wake cove. We took pictures by Captain Ron's pirate ship and spent hours on the deck relaxing. I highly recommend this location for any vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness upon arrival; no musty or strange smells. Beds are very comfortable. House is exactly as described by owner. Great location on the water and easy to find by car. Although we did not see the property managers the first 3 days we were there (they live next door) we didn't need them for anything, the house is addequately stocked with linens, silverware and platters ect.. The deck is beautiful and large enough for my 21 month old to run back and forth on. You get the beautiful sunrise every morning and by the afternoon the deck is in the afternoon shade - so no all day long blazing sun beating down on you and the house stays the perfect temperature. The swimplatform gets sun all day. Captains Rons is super close and they have a great beach. I would definitely recommend this house - We will return next summer for sure!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from a long weekend stay and had a wonderful time. The view from the decks is even more wonderful than the pictures can show. The house was very clean and even the views from inside were fabulous. My husband and I were there with two of our grown daughters and one son-in-law. While my husband and I enjoyed drinks on the deck and watching the boats go by, our children enjoyed floating off the dock and the nice short walk to Captain Ron's. We had dinner there one night and the food was very good. I would recommend this house to anyone wishing to have a very relaxing getaway.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The location was easy to find. The amenities were accurate according to the photos on the website. The property was well-maintained, clean and the owner was extremely helpful during our stay. We would recommend this property to our friends and family and would be interested in returning in the future. The owners allowed the use of their water trampoline which was a great addition to the swimming area for the kids. While we cooked and BBQ'd all our meals at the house, we don't have recommendations for restaurants. We do recommend the use of nearby Pirate's Cove for boating rentals and Wood's Supermarket for everything you're looking for. We had a great view of fireworks for the 4th in the Cove too!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Perfect spot, with convenient access to main highway, yet without all the congestion of the "busy" side of the lake. This home was great for our family of 7 adults with the three bedrooms and fourth bedroom area in the lower level. The eastern exposure was great as you get the benefit of the morning sunrise on the lake without the afternoon heat. Great deck and great view of the lake. Not a lot of grassy area, for pets, and kitchen area could be a little larger, but you're on vacation right. We spent most of our time at the house on the deck and in the dining living area because of the great views and great space. It was fun to see the variety of boats coming and going through the no wake cove to Captain Ron's. Overall a great spot and convenient location.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this vacation house. The description and pictures were completely accurate; the owner very pleasant and attentive to details; and the house was very clean with nice furnishings. We spent the majority of the time sitting on the deck just looking out at the great view of the lake. We'd recommend Barbie's Bar and Grill to eat in Laurie; also Chances R had a great special on crab legs. We also took in a move at a theatre a couple of miles outside of Laurie. We highly recommend this VRBO vacation rental house!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We had 5 adults and 2 teenage girls. The house was terrific; very clean, well decorated and well appointed. Everything you could want was there. There was plenty of room for everyone and the girls especially enjoyed the large bunk area where they could watch TV and get away from the adults. The 2 wraparound decks gave a wonderful view of the cove while and a great place to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee while watching the sunrise and ducks landing in the morning and great evening atmosphere for entertaining. The view from inside the house was spectacular with an entire wall of glass that gave a 180 degree view of the lake. The pictures don't do this house justice. Everyone was so impressed we decided we have to come back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We rented this home for 3 couples for the boat show at Capt Ron"s was in walking distant and the house had a awesome view and was so very homey and we all had a great time, I personally liked the kitchen being able to cook and still enjoy the view of the water and boats going by... will be honored to rent from him again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Property was clean, well stocked with everything we needed. The main living area is a semi circle (all glass) with a beautiful view from living area right down the lake. Plenty of room for our group of 7; large bunk area downstairs was ideal for the kids. Fishing was great right off the dock; caught a 6 lb bass! Very convenient to Pirates Point marina for boat/jet ski rental. Went to Captain Ron's just down the cove for some great food & nightlife. Went just a few miles up the Osage and got away from boat traffic for some great tubing & skiing. Would definitely come back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Our new favorite place on the lake! Terrific house, plenty of room. Nice kitchen. The large deck looks onto a large beautiful cove and the main lake, we enjoyed evenings relaxing there. The kids swam from the dock. Just around the corner we rented a pontoon from Pirate Point, very convenient. We enjoyed dinner at Captain Ron's, it's within walking distance at the end of the cove. The house was clean and well maintained, we decided this was our new favorite place, we'll definitely be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We had two couples drive up from Memphis (5 1/2 Hours) to enjoy the 4th of July Weekend. It was a great trip!!! The property is everything that is described. We enjoyed a firework show both the 3rd and 4th right in front of the house. We counted well over 100 boats in the cove. Truly a wonderful experience. The owners were great!!! I would highly recommended the property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a great family vacation! The lake house was perfect, had everything we needed and was close to entertainment and stores, was clean, and had a great view! The second TV and play area for the kids worked out well as we were able to enjoy the deck and some adult time while the kids had fun. We loved that the decks faced east for cool evenings of relaxing. Had a fun day at Captain Ron’s, kids played sand volleyball and swam from the sand beach. We also enjoyed a great dinner and live music. Swim platform at dock with great fishing too. Could have taken another couple with us and been just fine on room.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
