  My six siblings and I spent three days at the beautiful Love Lane Getaway. What a wonderful home - spacious, sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly want. And that kitchen! We spent many hours enjoying delicious meals prepared with veggies from local farm stands and fish from Braun's Seafood. There's lots to do on the North Fork: walks on the beaches, the local Garlic Festival (so much fun!) and, of course, the wineries - they're everywhere! We especially enjoyed Peconic Bay Winery where we tasted wines and even danced to the band's great music - all in the shadow of the vineyard. And last but not least, Gary is a delight to work with. He obviously wants his guests to have a wonderful time in his beautiful home.

  When my six lady Girls Getaway group decided to go to Long Island this year, and wanted to stay in Mattituck, (where I grew up), I knew I needed to find a very special place for us to stay. Gary's house turned out to be just perfect for us. His home was wonderfully comfortable, and very clean, with plenty of room for all six of us and just about every amenity possible! It is beautifully furnished and was a great place to kick back. Especially the spacious kitchen and the beautiful large porch where we spent most of our time. We ate our breakfasts out there, and sat out there in the afternoons and evenings as well - so relaxing! . The house is centrally located on the North Fork and so it is very convenient to just about everywhere on Eastern LI. We enjoyed dining/shopping in Greenport and Mattituck (especially The Village Cheese Shop), walked on the local beaches, visited several wineries, (Pindar, Bedell, Corey Creek & Shinn, plus Roanoak's store right on Love Lane), had delicious ice cream at Magic Fountain and even drove out to Montauk Point on the South Fork one afternoon. The owner, Gary, was extremely helpful and very accommodating. The property manger, Andi, was very helpful too, She even found us three beach chairs in the basement! I would highly recommend renting this delightful home. We are definitely hoping to return soon. We hated to have to leave and all agreed that we wished we had rented it for a week!.

  What a great place for a girls weekend! Or anything going on on the North Fork for that matter. The house was lovely and centrally located for a lot of fun excursions. Beautiful furnishings and very comfortable too. We six women had a great time checking out the vineyards and the Hamptons/Montauk. The weather was fantastic too. We plan on coming back again very soon! Thank you!

  My five girlfriends and I just spent our girls' weekend at the property. This was the first time we tried VRBO and were so pleased with the house the second we walked through the door. The decor is beautiful, and with four bedrooms, there was plenty of room for all of us. The location is great because it is so close to the beach on the sound side, wineries,and farm stands. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying breakfast, afternoon snacks, and just talking. Would we go back? Absolutely! Gary was great to work with. We had to cancel our trip last year because of the snow storm, and he was very accommodating in rearranging our trip for this year. I would recommend renting the house to anyone who is looking for a fun trip to Long Island.

  This house is so wonderful. Very comfortable and very clean. Everything you need is there. The outdoor shower is not to be missed and the porch is so relaxing. The kitchen is the best! Everyone can cook and eat and hang out there it is so roomy. The location is so easy to get around from..close to vineyards and Love Lane is definitely the quaintest spot. We liked Old Field Vineyards and Peconic Vineyards and also the Lavendar Farm....and I must mention Farm to Pint ..a new hops farm started by my nephew and after this weekend his wife! It was a memorable weekend all around for us. Gary is the best and answers all emails and phone calls ASAP. (Andi was also easy to contact.)

  Our family get together was thoroughly enjoyable at this Love Lane getaway. Property was up to date, clean and well maintained and was accurately reflected in the description. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, a delight to work with. We loved the central location of Mattituck on the North Fork as it allowed us trips east to greenport and west to riverhead with no more than a 20 min time investment either way. If your family loves to cook, this is the place for you as the kitchen is terrific! Don't miss a trip to the award winning Bedell Vineyard down the road or the ferry to Shelter Island for lunch at Sunrise Beach hotel, you wil be convinced you are in the south of France. Kathy

  This house should be featured in a magazine - the rooms are all beautifully renovated and it is so clean. The porch has comfortable lounge chairs, a swing seat and dining table - all so relaxing. My friends and I dined out most nights but the kitchen is big and fully stocked with the latest appliances. We will definitely be back again next year. Another plus - it is very close to a number of golf courses and vineyards!

  We rented the house for the 4th of July and it was better than we could have hoped for. Ideal for a family with kids and in perfect condition. Great kitchen for adults to unwind in while preparing dinner while kids can sit in TV room or on beautiful porch. Bathrooms were big and spacious. The outdoor shower was a big hit for all. Horseshoes in the back while cooking on the grill topped it off. Great spot! Gary was a great owner to rent from.

  Just spent the weekend here with 5 of my girlfriends. It's the perfect house and we loved our stay. It's stocked with everything you could ever need. It's also very clean and comfortable, in a great location. We spent a day checking out the vineyards but mostly spent our time at the house! We will definitely be back!

  Five friends and I stayed in this home a few weeks ago. It was absolutely perfect; even better than th pictures. We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean.
