Sebastopol country cottage (1315 Bloomfield road) is a great place for people visiting family in the area of the West Sonoma wine country. The cottage has convenient parking, large bedroom with central heat, air conditioners, TV, WiFi, owners original art, wood stove, queen pillow top bed, Futon, vaulted ceiling, huge window wall with cottage garden view and a separate patio door to the hot tub area. Second bedroom is past the kitchen and has a queen size sofabed, TV, internet, patio door to large deck with BBQ and fenced garden, this room is at the end of the hallway, past the bathroom and on the other end of the cottage from the large bedroom but it only has a curtain at the entrance not a lockable door. The large bedroom has a lockable door to seperate it from the kitchen and laundry room.
Non smoking inside.
Skylights in the kitchen, hallway and bathroom make the space very energetic. Recently there have been some suggestions to shade the light in the bedroom and ad a small air conditioner, thank you this has made the cottage more comfortable.
The two person hot tub is for cottage guests exclusively.
Very quiet and peaceful country area just 3 miles from the main town of Sebastopol. Quiet private backyard with patio furniture and BBQ. Owner/builder/artist/managers rental office is on the property, large shared driveway. Cottage is decorated with owner's original art. TV, stereo/cd player, DVD player, free unlimited nationwide calling on cottage dedicated phone line and WiFi.
Two kayaks are available if renters are willing to transport them to the local river or lake.

The house was as described. It was easy to relax the way it is set up with two kind of separate living and sleeping areas. We never saw the friendly cat. Played golf at Santa Rosa G&CC a couple of times. Its a nice course if you can get on(private).Sebastopol Golf Course is a public 9 hole that I would recommend to golfers of any level. We had some good meals at Hopmonk in Sebastopol and Willow Wood in Graton. Smoke detector in kitchen is quite sensitive. Thanks again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

My fiancee and I had a lovely time in the cozy cottage! It was a last minute stay, but Alicia was quick to respond and sent me all the information I needed. The cottage felt very private and the two person hot tub under the stars was perfection. Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to stay again!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My husband, son and I stayed at the cottage for 4 days and had a great time. It is so cute and funky, with amenities that we really loved. The wi-fi was perfect, the furnace was a little loud but kept us very toasty, it was very clean and my husband loved the hot tub. We also loved having plenty of hot water (we have been to rentals elsewhere that keep their thermostats turned down--brr) and the cottage looks just like the photos but seems more spacious. The owners are so easy to deal with, and it is a great central location to just about everything. We did have a lot of rain but that didn't stop us from exploring the area and shopping in Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. I hope we can come back in the spring or summer eventually...I would love to be at the cottage when it is warm outside and we could enjoy the yard and grill. Thanks for a great stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Hi Janet, Glad you enjoyed the holidays at the Sebastopol cottage, hope you can make it back in the summer. We will be getting a bigger BBQ soon. Thanks again, Ralph & Alicia Beyer

Our stay at the cottage was very positive. Considering we have a 6 month old and a rambunctious 2.5 year old, it was accommodating to us all. The high fences in the back were nice to let our son run around in the yard, and the home was fairly child-proofed as it was. Bonus points for the grapes that my son enjoyed picking. I like that the bedroom is separated from the rest of the house by the laundry room, so the adults could have some space while the kids slept. Beautiful artwork throughout the cottage by owner. Thank you for our lovely stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

It was a very clean property. A lot larger than expected. The fold out couch was a good bed to sleep on. The owner even provided support boards and extra cushion to make the bed more comfortable. The garden areas were very quint, and had fruit trees and berries. The road outside is busy during the day, but at night it is very quite. The washer and dryer provided was a nice touch. The master bedroom was very large with a queen bed and futon bed in it. We did not use the wood stove, but looked very inviting. The entire area is a wonderful place to visit. Big Redwoods, Vineyards, the ocean, and great towns are all within a 30 min drive.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding weekend and it was perfect for us! We needed somewhere we could stay with our dog which is hard to find in the area. The cottage is in a great, quiet location just a short drive from the center of Sebastopol. The cottage was clean, had plenty of space (the bedroom is huge), nice kitchen, the small backyard with BBQ was really cute and our dog loved it. The cottage has parking right in front (which was very handy for us because we had a lot of stuff for the wedding we needed to unload/reload - can't image how that would have worked at a hotel!) and the kitchen had plenty of space to store everything. We loved the 2 person hot tub and only wish we had more time to enjoy the place and take advantage of the kayaks they have available. Alicia and Ralph were very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place whether traveling with or without a dog.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This is the 2nd time we stayed here with our dog. Great little cottage in a very convenient location. The cottage is very clean, especially for a pet friendly place. Nice little fenced yard to let the dog out and nice patio if the weather is nice. Love the huge windows in the bedroom. Let's in the morning sun which was heaven for our sun-worshipping dog. The hot tub was a nice way to unwind after a long day. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need and there's a nice grill outside. The furnace is a little loud, especially in the bedroom so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Not an issue for us since I like it cooler at night so we just turned off the heat. The owner was very easy to deal with and responsive. Received our security deposit within days of our stay which is really nice. We will definitely be back if we need a place to stay in the Sebastopol area.Recommended for: Pet owners.

Thanks so much, Ralph! We had a wonderful stay in your cottage. The patio is fantastic; I could spend all day reading in the sun. The grill and full kitchen allowed us to enjoy several home cooked meals. All of the amenities were very comfortable! Thanks for a great stay!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thanks Cara, I'm glad everything worked out well for you. Ralph Beyer
