We recently celebrated memorable birthdays with 3 generations, from 5 different cities, at Camp One. The long time owners have done a remarkable job of maintaining this special property! We were grateful for the opportunity to "return to our childhood " and to experience so many incredible amenities which are part of Camp One! Our return to this sanctuary is already booked for next summer! Thank you to the management company as well. They do an excellent job in all areas! JCV Bend, OregonRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank You all for your contribution to Camp One. It is because of the wonderful people who visit our ocean hideaway that we are able to keep and maintain it.

Had a wonderful trip. Rustic and comfortable. Nice to have a place to take the kids, dogs and the adults and be able to relax. Fall weather provides storms, sunshine, wind and calm. This place is amazing! Twelve of us, and two dogs, stayed for 4 days with all ages and interest. There is truly something for everyone. Some of us walked dogs on the beach, which is only a few steps from the cabins, some of us went to New Port to buy fish, some hiked at Cape Perpetua and some stayed at camp to read. My husband and I started our days in the hot tub sipping coffee and looking out at the ocean while other slept in. With everyone having their own cabin it was easy for private time or sleeping/napping without interruptions. One night we had a dinner in the main cabin with 14 people attending and there was room and place settings for all. The kitchen is well stocked. There also are enough bath rooms and showers to make bathing easy for a crowd. With everyone taking off in all directions by day, by night we all ended up at the beach side fire pit to share stories of the days adventures. We are already planning our next Camp One trip. Thank you for sharing this amazing place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I rented the cabins with a group of friends for a holiday weekend. We loved the rustic setting and the great access to the beach and local hiking trails. The hot tub is wonderful too! Plenty of room for everyone in a large group to have some privacy and space to hang out as a group. We will definately return!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We love this property. We have stayed twice now, each time with a toddler-aged child. It easily accommodates large groups, and last time we had more people join us. This time is was just the three of us. We were concerned it would be too big and lonely without company, but it's great either way. It is clean, and has a great kitchen and dining area to save on food costs. You cannot beat the beach access, and we had the beach all to ourselves. The hot tub is clean and hot. The location is perfect for little day trip adventures. Be advised - cell phone service is non-existent (which we were frankly quite excited about), but wi-fi is available. We look forward to staying here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: I feel fortunate that we are able to share this with people it has been a source of joy for our family for a very long time.

If your looking for an amazingingly private yet expansive ocean-front bungalow retreat this is the one! My family of five, grandpa, grandma and four cousins all had our own little cottages and we all cooked, hot-tubbed, used the sauna, showered inside and outside in the hidden shower, made smores in both fire pits right on top of one of the best beaches in all of Oregon! Look no further this is the one we will return to time and time again... in fact there is only the long and painful wait... until we return... again. Thanks for the memories...Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

After verifying that the directions we received were correct, we journeyed along the car path into something new and exciting. The balance between nature and comfort are a refreshing change of pace from the hectic drive along the 101. Running around the grounds for the first time was reminiscent of being a child and seeing the ocean for the first time. Every corner is full of memories and joy, a quick glance through the guest book confirms the living history of such a unique place in the world. Strong recommendations have been given to every person that I know.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
