  We had a great time at the cabin. And I have to tell you that we did get a visit from the bear on Sunday night. My mother and sister-in-law were a little shocked when it came around to the back of the patio (lol). I would just like to thank you on behalf of myself and my family for allowing us to use your cabin. It was VERY spacious and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you again.

  My family spent the weekend at this wonderful cabin. We were amazed at the panoramic views of the smokies. The bedrooms were furnished with comfortable bedding. We truly enjoyed the game room with an available option for each of us to enjoy. Gatlinburg was so surprising -- with so many activities. We would definitely go back again and again!!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

  Thank you so much for the use of this beautiful cabin. The 24 of us found it perfect! It was the best vacation we've had in some time. Our 14 grandkids were so happy here & we hope to make this an annual event! Thank you again and God bless!

  This is also a last minute decision to come here due to the BP oil spill. House is absolutely great. There are 14 of us. Ages 51 to 7. Well it is the 17th already time flies when you are having fun. The mountains are beautiful. You can sit on the deck for hours looking at them. We floated the river, we shopped at the oulet malls, we shopped at the souvenir shops, we went to Gatlinburg ate and shopped, we went to the Aquarium. We sat at this beautiful house and did nothing but enjoy each others company. Some played pool. We went to the pool. This house is really great for hide -n- seek. We seen the resident bear several times. The grill is great & the eating area is good for lots of people. The mountain drive is very scary for us people who live in flat Indiana! Thank you for sharing your home and scenery with us.

  The house was perfect for our family of 18. Parents and 3 daughters with husbands and children. Children range from a recent high school graduate to the youngest (age 5). We traditionally have gone to the beach but the BP oil spill forced us to find another vacation location at the last minute. Luckily buckhead Lodge became available and turned our sad situation into a wonderful contuination of our family tradition. We had great weather. Rain some on the last full day. We all loved Dixie Stampede. We hiked to Laurel Falls and saw a bear right at the entrance to the trail. We shopped at the outlets and enjoyed goofy golf. We didn't see any bears at the house but also saw one while driving down the hill into Gatlinurg. We played a lot of cards and games. And had a great pool tournament. The house accomodated us perfectly. We all enjoyed the TV's and the levels were nice because some could sleep late if they wanted to (unless you are in the bedroom under the pool table while people are playing pool). We ejoyed the hot tub and the view was of course the best part. Thanks for sharing your house and making it our home for this week. "I hate to leave this house.   We were so pleasantly surprised with the quality and amenities at Buckhead Lodge, Gatlinburg, TN. The pool table and PacMan were plesant surprises. We have plenty of room. The view of the mountains is magnificent. We had no trouble finding it via GPS. The security code and door lock codes worked perfectly. The hot tub has been popular as has the community pool. We had a WONDERFUL view of the fireworks on July 4 night from the porches.
