  This is a great place to stay for a few weeks. Close to the beach (you can hear the ocean at night when everything is still), Destin Commons, Silver Sands Outlet, restaurants galore. The pool is big, beautiful and inviting (too cold in the winter and too expensive to heat), the home is fully equipped, master bedroom has the most comfortable bed and the shower is the best I've ever used! The owner is so easy to work with and accommodating. Leaving wasn't easy!!

  We loved our Christmas week at the beach! The house can only be described as comfortable. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. We did have a couple of days warm enough to enjoy the beach which left the others to find must haves in the local shops. Loved Banana Barts! Even with tornado warnings on Christmas day, we had our wedding vow renewals in the backyard Christmas afternoon when the sun came out. Was a lovely setting. We hope to return again.

  Nice place to stay. Great location...just a short walk to the beach with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Very nice having your own private pool! The owner was very accommodating and helpful. The packet of local attractions he sent us before we arrived was nice for planning ahead. Best owner/rental experience ever!!!

  My three college age boys and I stayed in this beautiful home in Destin, FL over Thanksgiving. The home was lovely and well kept up. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own Thanksgiving dinner. The walk to the beach each morning was only 5 min. and besides the beach there were an abundance of walking/biking paths to make each outing different and unique. We all loved the area and the home and would definitely go back again if our schedules allowed.

  Truly a bargain in the Miramar Beach area. We were very impressed with all the extras that were included with the property ( Beach Chairs, pool toys, Towels, etc.). This beach nest home is perfect for a group of 8. The pool and backyard are exceptional, along with the handy outdoor shower for washing excessive sand collection during beach visits. We would highly recommend this property for those who are looking to get away from the high rise set up and have some privacy while enjoying the Florida weather.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We had a great time at this house. It rained the first 2 days of our trip, but once the weather cleared up, we were able to hang out and relax by the pool and enjoy our stay. The beach was either red or yellow flagged the entire time we were there, but that did not deter my daughter from enjoying it. We enjoyed dining, shopping and sight seeing as well. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us, a real home away from home. I

  The Martin's Nest was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The house had all the amenities needed for our family of five and four additional guest that spent memorial day weekend with us. The location was perfect for relaxing next to the pool without being disturbed by the noises of the city, but only a walk away from the beach. The owner was always available to answer our questions before and during our stay and even sent us a packet of local attractions before we arrived so we could plan our trip ahead of time. The house met every one of our expectations and we would recommend it for any family looking for a relaxing vacation spot.

  This was the perfect house to spend the last spring break of college in! It was close to shopping and entertainment venues with the chance to go to secluded beaches as well as ones with more people. The house had everything that you could think of! There were plenty of towels for the 10 girls that stayed, pots and pans were in surplus, and everything you would ever need while away from your home truly made this trip a vacation. Everything was clean, the location was perfect and overall it was the best spring break experience I have ever had! Thank you so much!

  GREAT HOUSE!!!! I went for spring break with 9 of my friends and it was perfect! The house is great! Very nice on the inside and very cute on the outside too!! The pool area was our favorite! IT has lots of space for lounging by the pool and the actual pool is big and nice too! The house is at a great location as well! It's a short walk from the beach!! We all LOVED IT!!!!! I reccomend this place to anyone! It is great for all ages! I have already told my parents about it to stay there for our family vacation! TWO thumbs up!

  My wife and I chaperoned 6 seniors on their senior trip as they did not want to go with the class planned trip with partying, etc. When we arrived, there was a cake in the frig telling them congrats along with pasta, salads, bread, and whatever else. We travel maybe twice a year and this is a first for us to find this spectalcular place. It is perfect for older people to relax or great for youngsters. No matter what age, it is suited for you. Everything was furnished and very clean. Always, when we go anywhere my wife sprays with disinfectant immediately. I did not even see her pick up the disinfectant. The kids had a wonderful time in the pool with the great speakes for music at the pool and all equipment anyone would ever need. The owner was the best that we've ever had dealings with. We could contact him personally at any time if needed, even though we did not. He made us welcome from the first contact. He knew our names on a personal basis and made sure that we were happy. We would recommend this place to any one or every one and we will surely be going back with every opportunity. AAAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++
