Pelican Sound Golf and River Club is a gated, bundled community located in Turnberry, Pelican Sound, Estero, South West, Florida. It is is 20 minutes from the Airport, Naples and Fort Myers. Great shopping, Dining and entertainment are all nearby..
Accommodations: Condominium, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6) Master suite has King size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds. A living area couch is a Queen size hide-a-bed. The bedrooms have TVs. Living room Has TV, VCR, DVD and and CD player.
This beautiful gated community has twenty-seven holes of golf, tennis courts, and two clubhouses. The Golf Club includes casual and formal dining with a bar and grill room. It has a professional golf shop as well.
The River Club, located on the scenic Estero River, offers a full bar and casual dining There are plenty of TVs for the sports minded.. The River Club also has a boat launch with free canoes and kayaks. There is a complete fitness center and a large community pool with a hot tub. A boat shuttle travels the beautiful Estero River through Estero Bay to the beaches. A day at Lovers Key Beach is a popular destination.
Within the Turnberry condo community are two swimming pools, each with hot tubs and gas grills.

We rented this condo for Jan. and Feb. 2013. We enjoyed our stay very much. The information and pictures displayed are up to date and accurate. The condo is spacious and very comfortable. This is our third season at Pelican Sound. The golf community has great facilities and we intend to come again. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.Recommended for: Age 55+.

We spent the months of February and March in first floor condo. Very convenient location with nice views of the 1st fairway of the Sound course. Pelican Sound offers many amenities: golf, dining, boating, pools and socializing. Close to shopping: Coconut Point Mall and Mirromar outlets, and a short ride to Naples and its many attractions.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities.

Not only is the condo comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped, the view adds to the fun! You can wake up with the sunrise and watch early golfers as they play #1 of the Sound course. Then, after your own round of golf, you can walk a few steps and relax at the pool. Take a nice walk in the evening, then sit on the lanai and watch the wildlife. Pelican Sound has many ammenities and is very convenient to beaches, stores, and the airport. There is always something to do, although you might just want to play golf since the 27 holes are beautiful, well-maintained, and challenging. While we were there we went kayaking 3 times, and even touched a manatee from the kayak! The pontoon boat shuttle to the beach is a great way to experience Florida nature. The condo owner is very accommodating, very nice, and very welcoming. I would definitely rent this condo again and again.Recommended for: Age 55+.

A free driving range, putting green and sand and chipping practice are available at the Golf club. Follow your practice with a round on the well manicured, twenty-seven hole, championship golf course. The River, The Lakes and The Sound courses are enjoyed by both beginners and professionals.
Fishing and boating on Estero bay or the Gulf makes for an exciting and beautiful day.
Minutes from the Coconut Point Shopping Center, which has excellent casual and formal restaurants and a movie theater. Also minutes from the famous Miromar Outlet Mall.
The Naples Philharmonic and the Barbara Mann Center provide everything from Broadway to classical music. Both are minutes away.
