We have been told by our guests that our 'Home Away From Home' is most comfortable and welcoming (please read our reviews). This is not your typical condo - pride of ownership can been seen throughout. The decor is French Country with a bit of Rustic Mountain thrown in. We have new living room furniture and 2 new flat screen TVs for your enjoyment.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, with the master bath having 2 sinks. Both bedrooms also have queen sized beds with twin mattresses tucked underneath for additional guests (our children often bring friends to share in a fun week or weekend, so we need extra beds). We also have a comfortable pull-out couch in the living room, which gives us total bed space for 8 guests.
Ours is a 1st Floor Condo (no stairs involved!), but the private balcony off the living room is elevated, so you feel like you are in a tree house when sitting outside. We often have many visiting hummingbirds, and sometimes a friendly fox (which one guest named 'Socks') comes around for a visit. Another special feature is the dining area window (we have an end unit) which looks out over a perfect sledding run - our kids call it 'the luge' - we keep a sled in the closet for our kids' and guests' enjoyment.
The Beaver Village Complex has the perfect Winter Park location. There is both a free Winter Park shuttle bus and a free private Beaver Village shuttle bus that picks you up right outside our unit and takes you the 1.5 miles to the Winter Park Ski Area base, as well as to the towns of Winter Park (which begins only 2 blocks from our condo - a very short walk) and Fraser (where the large Safeway grocery store is located). Although we are very centrally located, we are secluded in the woods among Aspen and Pine trees that have been beautifully preserved and protected. The clubhouse has a large indoor pool, three hot tubs and a sauna - all perfect for Apres ski fun - and no waiting for hot tub space! We are also within 35 minutes of Rocky Mountain National Park, Hot Sulphur Springs, Grand Lake and Lake Grandby.
Some things we enjoy while staying at our condo include (in no particular order): great restaurants (Hernando's Pizza, The Cheeky Monk, and Fontenot's Cajun are three favorites, but there is everything - fine dining to McDonald's to sushi!), Fraser Tubing Hill (with a lift, so you don't have to walk up!), a soak and massage at the Hot Sulphur Springs (Winter Park itself has great massage artists too who will give you a massage at our condo), ATV rentals in Grand Lake, strolling the Boardwalk in Grand lake, and renting a paddle boat in Grand Lake (just make a day of it at The Lake!), watching the Elk herds in Rocky Mountain National Park, enjoying one of the many free music and art festivals in Winter Park (call WP for a schedule), playing golf at Pole Creek (voted the best public course in Colorado), fishing at Bill's Trout Pond - the list really doesn't end. There is just so much to do, enjoy and appreciate in Winter Park and the surrounding areas that it's impossible to give a comprehensive list our favorite activities.

Our group of 4 adults (2 couples) stayed over Easter weekend to ski at Winter park. We had a great stay. Below are our observations. We were relieved to wait no more than a minute for the shuttle service to Winter park, which was excellent. Also, parking was ample at the condo for our two vehicles. It wasn't warm enough to use the balcony off the back but we enjoyed the nice treed view (true to the description above)! Kitchen supplies were ample. We cooked a couple meals in and drove two miles to the Safeway and found all the groceries we needed. Safeway had more options than I am used to in my city grocery store and the groceries were very reasonably priced (not at all expensive for a mountain town). The one time we ate out for dinner (at the Library) we weren't impressed. They were out of half of their brewed beers and the food was overpriced and underflavored. Of note, the living room furniture, flatscreen TV and fireplace offered the perfect set up for enjoying March madness! We were also able to hook up our kindle to the TV and watch a movie one night. With each bedroom having its own bathroom, we thought the cabin offered the perfect amount of privacy for two couples. Had we had a few more people we think they would have fit comfortably on the couch or the mattresses that were stored under each bed. Theresa was great to work with. She was prompt, honest, very fairpriced (this was the best deal I found) and provided really helpful instructions on the condo. We would love to stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great long weekend stay for skiing at Winter Park. Theresa was very responsive, provided useful information, and the process for renting was straightforward. 6 adults fit comfortably, the condo was clean and well stocked, including the kitchen. The hot tubs and sauna at the recreation center were a nice add, though packed with children for the holiday weekend. We loved the convenience of the location and buses to the ski resort.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Yes..i booked and payed...thinking this place was near Aspen, CO. Yes...silly me! We reached Aspen and after a long day wanted to crash...and only then did we realize this place was near Denver...where we came from! So why i am giving five stars to this place??? We really enjoyed this condo. It was very clean and beng on the ground floor was awsome. The bus would pick us up right out front of the condo. The condo itself was very roomy and comfortable.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This was a very relaxing vacation. The condo was comfortable, clean, and very inviting. The location of it is perfect! Right near the base of Winter Park and very close to town. We become "locals" at Carver's Bakery for breakfast and enjoyed happy hour and dinner at Deno's Mountain Bistro. Theresa was great to work with and was always prompt in her response. We will definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The layout is perfect. Especially the dining room table and fireplace. Seriously, the table was ideal for enjoying a nice long dinner with family and friends after a long day of skiing, the tables in condos are never big enough, and this one was! Add the nice warm fire that required no work, this place was wonderful! Now the gale force winds at the ski area were not so wonderful, but on the day our son couldn't go up because it was too bitter, we had such a nice time just watching movies and reading in front of the fire. We really enjoyed the location (5 mins from the door to unloading at the ski area) and the quietness. The clubhouse was so nice, especially compared to some I've been to, and the ladies working at the desk were extremely helpful. Thank you for a wonderful holiday home. We were very happy with the condo, it was well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay, very clean, and having bathrooms within each of the 2 bedrooms was very convenient. The locaton was great, convenient to both the resort and the town of Winter Park. The condo complex is quite large, so to get to the clubhouse with the nice indoor pool and 3 hot tubs, we got in the car and drive down the hill, which wasn't a big deal. The complex is situated along the railroad tracks, though the location of this particular condo faced away from them, so we didn't have any issues with the noise, but if you are extremely sensitive to noise, it could be an issue. (Though my wife is very sensitive to noise while sleeping, and didn't have any problems.) The owner was great to work with - very responsive and flexible, and provided lots of great info to make our stay enjoyable! Overall, it was a great deal, and we look forward to staying here again sometime in the winter!Owner response: Thanks so much for your very kind review, Brian! This was a very comfortable condo, attractively decorated and best of all windows that let in sun. Our stay at Winter Park was great. This condo is perfect for two couples. Each bedroom has its own bath which is awesome. There is plenty of room in the fully stocked kitchen. It is really close to the slopes, and the shuttle service comes to the front door. The only negative would be the dated furniture (which I could care less about, but the wives had an opinion). Everything else was great. Especially the price. This condo was an unbelievable deal!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
