La Tropicale is located in Playa Carillo Guanacaste , on the North Pacific Side . Carrillo Beach is a 3 km beach 2 minutes away from our property with nothing but palm trees infront.
Our property has 3000 square mts full of tropical gardens all around. Wildlife such as monkeys will be around to visit often. Our main star Kuku, a Blue Macaw, who is free in the porperty and human friendly will be there to greet you and keep you company along your stay.
The main house has FOUR bedrooms 3 bathrooms CAPACITY 12 PERSON with a/c , the main room with a private terrace , living room ,cable tv , fully equipped kitchen , dinning room and a private pool. Access to three other rooms each with their own bathroom , a/c, cable tv, mini fridge and safe box. these rooms are apart from the main house emerged in the tropical gardens . Access to a bigger second pool and jacuzzi area in the property.
Maximum amount of people that can sleep in the property is 20 , the layout of the bedding would be as follow, each room has a double bed except one that will have two double beds and will have two sofa beds one at the main house and the other at one of the addtional rooms . Rental can be for just the main house and at extra cost each of the individual rooms.
Property manager is on site as well as a guard , parking space is inside the property.
Daily maid service for cleaning is included.
Carrillo town is small and within walking distance and offers restaurants , shops , supermarkets , and bars.
All tour operator pick up at the property, tours such as Palo Verde Mangrove Tour , sport fshing , or Local Fishing , Dolphin Watch , Canopy Tour , River Kayacking , Sea Turtle Nesting, Arenal One day tour with volcano hike and hots prings , etc . All this information can be given upon request or the manager on site can help organize all this once you arrive.
Transportaion can also be arranged for you , car rentals , private transfers or shuttles.
Samara Town is about 6 km away or ten minute drive we can arrange a taxi to take you there and bring you back when needed if you want to visit or take the public bus which is a few steps away from the property and passes by every 30 minutes.
Samara is bigger town with stores, supermarkets, bars , discos,restaurants ,banks, atms, pharmacy etc .

About the owner: My name is Arno , I am french use to be dancer and studied interior design. I lived in Marrakech, Marrocco where I had a Riad but came down to Costa rica for a vacation and fell in love with Playa Carrillo for the flora , fauna, the kindness and simplicity of locals here .
