Charming clean vacation home in desirable area of Biddeford Me. Just off Granite Point located on a private road just steps away to the private beach. Walking distance to the Rachel Carson Nature Refuge, R Carson renown author and ecologist. Swim, fish, sunbath at private cove's or just relax while taking in the amazing ocean views and beautiful sunrises over the water. Harbor seals can be spotted,sea bird are abundant,deer can be seen crossing the streets in early morning or at dusk and the occasional moose has been seen in mid fall.
A number of golf courses are in the area, public tennis courts with in 3 miles, private tennis club at Goose Rocks Beach with weekly/monthly memberships. Water park in Saco, amusement park at Old Oarchard Beach, Shopping in Kennebunk Port and boat tours/whale watching out of the the Port. You can book a trip to white water raft on on the Kennebec River. If the Baseball is you pastime your in luck if the Sea Dogs are in town. Bring your bikes miles of lovely beach roads to cruse. Award winning public beach near by at Fortunes Rock, simply pick up a guest pass for a small fee at the Biddeford Town Hall. This beach has amazing surf so either bring your boogie boards or take surf lessons from the local surf shop where you can also rent a sea kayak.
House can sleep 6, 1 bath with additional outdoor shower, 3 bedrooms, 1 living/dining room , full kitchen, wrap around porch with lounging and eating area. Comes with full amenities; 2 TV's, outdoor grill, washer/dryer, microwave, all utensils, dinning ware, some beach chairs and sheets available upon request.
3 min drive to Fortunes Rock public beach, 15 min drive to Old Orchard Beach, 10 min drive to Kennebunk Port, and 30 min drive to Portland; yet away from the hustle and bustle of the the tourist scene.
