If you are looking for a vacation on the beach where the kids can run free or just a little privacy then Flagler Beach is your place.
Captain Bob’s 2 story beach house is the perfect spot to over look the ocean and the accommodations are great for large or small families or friends vacationing together. The upstairs unit can be rented alone and has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, eat in kitchen with living room attached, sun porch and a large sun deck where you can see the sun rise and set. The lower unit can be rented with the upper to make a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. The lower unit has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, eat in kitchen and living room.
Captain Bob’s beach house has a private walk over to the beach and a large back yard for parking or playing.
Both units together will sleep 8 people comfortably. The upper unit alone will sleep 5 comfortably.
The upper unit has 1 Queen bed, 1 full bed with single on top, futon in sun room and convertible couch in living room. The lower unit has 1 King bed and futon in living room.
Both units are equipped with linens, cooking utensils, dishes, microwaves, stoves and refrigerators. The upstairs has a washer/dryer combo.
Both units have a flat screen TV with cable and a DVD.
Sun deck has two picnic tables and sun umbrellas.

We have been back in NJ for two weeks, and still missing Captain Bob's! The location is perfect, you could not be any closer to the beach, unless you were on the beach! We were a total of 8 and fit perfectly, using upstairs and downstairs. The kids had a blast. We had never been to Flagler Beach before. It is a wonderful, laid back "Old Florida" town. Peggy was great to work with, and we hope to be back next Easter. Thank you Peggy and Bob. PS - highly recommend Java Joint down the road, great coffee, breakfast and view!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

My friend & I along with our children (two 8yr olds, a 4 yr old, & a 1 yr old) rented Captain Bob's for the month. Our stay was AMAZING and we are talking about a possibility of renting again next summer. Or husbands are military and are on the same deployment rotation. Captain Bob's provided a great way to distract & entertain the children. Bob & Peggy are amazing!! Even during "Debbie's" visit (tropical storm) they were so helpful bringing games & things for the kids and when Debbie decided to camp out and we had to leave they refunded us the money for the days we missed. I don't think anyone will ever know just how much it meant to our children to replace the sadness of Daddy being gone with all of the fun memories we made at the beach. CHECK OUT FINN'S FOR AN AMAZING BURGER & THE FARMERS MARKET ON FRI & SAT. =)Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Had been there several times with my husband (wouldn't want to rush into a review), but stayed there last summer with a friend when we had a "girls' week"....had such a good time, we are planning to make it an annual event! Already booked our days for this summer. The house is cute, well kept and right across A1A is the "might as well be" private beach. And Peggy is wonderful to work with. Flagler Beach is a nice, quaint little town and close to St. Augustine an Daytona. No down side!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

The house was extremely home-y and welcoming! We spent most of our time on the big upper deck watching the waves and enjoying the breeze and the warm sun. Sits across a GREAT area of the beach - not crowded at all - perfect for our little ones! Peggy was great to work with! Can't wait to visit again!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Your beach house was just as you described. The house was very clean. The views from the deck is fabulous and the surf sound never ended. We will come back. Thank you.
