Great Stay in Ko Olina

We came in to town for a wedding which was at the Ko Olina resort. We had 3 adult couples and we all found this townhome was perfect for our needs. Jackie is a wonderful person to work with and she keeps this home in top shape. We found that the house had everything we needed including a computer with printer and Internet/WiFi (handy for printing directions and return flight boarding passes). The location is close to the beach and Ko Olina resorts ( short drive or long walk) We didn't use the pool but it looked as it does in the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the rest of the amenities provided us all we needed for our stay. There is a well stocked market and restaurants on the resort property or Kapole is a short 5min drive for shopping, dining and Costco. Not a big deal for us but worth mentioning, parking is limited (we had a car which we parked in the garage plus an SUV parked in the driveway. Any additional vehicles would need to use the visitor parking which is steps from the townhouse. Mahalo Jackie!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We loved staying at Jackie's townhome. It was exactly as described on the website. It had everything you could ask for and more. Jackie thought of everything that you may possibly need while on vacation. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was a good one. The rooms were very spacious and the property was tranquil. Loved the pool and being so close to the lagoons. We spent time at both. We also just loved the peacefulness of the surroundings. I would definitely recommend this property to further Hawaii visitors.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife, 2 1/2 year old, and my in-laws very much enjoyed our stay at the clean and well kept townhouse. The place was spacious and had all the amenities needed for fun at the beach. Jackie, the owner, was attentive and made sure our stay was relaxing. The pool was very nice, but honestly we spent more time at the lagoons which were a 15 minute walk. I would recommend to a family or corporate traveler looking to soak in the aloha spirit in a clean and relaxing environment.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We stayed in Jackie's VR for a family reunion last Christmas. We absolutely enjoyed the house and it feels just like home. We had 2 toddlers and a 6 year old during our trip, so a well equipped kitchen is one of our top criteria. Jackie kept the house well organized and neat and we have no problem during our stay. I agreed with Sonny's reply on your questions. But we didn't go much to the lagoons nearby though cause the water was freezing during that time. The new Disney resort is just down the block and be sure not to miss their Friday's breakfast with characters if u have kids. I would say the stay there (Koolina Hillside Villas) is well worth the money. : ) Rgds, RickyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My wife and I totally enjoyed our trip to Hawaii and our accomodations played a major part. Your place was the perfect location for us as everything was either a short drive or relaxing walk away. We enjoyed: 1. tennis and golf at Ko Olina Golf Club 2. snorkeling at the four lagoons - green sea turtles and lots of colorful fish 3. swimming and hot tub at the pool nearby 4. walks along the beach - amazing sunsets 5. a mall only 6 miles away 6. several golf courses within 5 to 15 miles away 7. temperature was between 69-72 during the day and around 68 in the evenings 8. the area is quiet and peaceful 9. we met lots of friendly people while relaxing in the hot tub All in all, I would rate our stay a 9 out of 10. Jackie is the perfect host. We would highly recommend Jackie as a source for anyone interested in visiting the Ko Olina area. Thanks for the memories!Did you find this review helpful? First time renting on VRBO couldn't of had a better first time experience. The owners we're great to do business with, Everything you could want or need is within a mile or less of the unit, Including restaurants, convenient store and beautiful beaches. Within in 30 minutes you could be on the North shore or down town Waikiki. Very quiet location with out the noise and traffic of the city. Very safe area, next time we go to Oahu we will be stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: This was my first customer through VRBO and we couldn't have been more thrilled. Two suggestions were made and we added the items right away. We were happy that this family treated our place like their own. We hope to have many more happy customers!

About the owner: We love our ocean & water sports, but also love the mountains and snow sports. We are very familiar with island attractions and activities.
Why the Owner Chose Ko Olina:
My broker surprised me with this upscale resort on Oahu, with the quiet and relaxing feel of a neighbor island resort, yet easy to access Waikiki and downtown Honolulu with all the conveniences of a big city. Golf and tennis lessons for kids and adults, and safe swimming in one of the pristine & peaceful lagoons with their picturesque crescent beaches. If you don't need or want the pampering at the 5-star Ihilani Resort & Spa, this location is perfect for relaxing or accessing the rest of Oahu's attractions. I was surprised to find this beautiful spot tucked next to the Wet-n-Wild Water Park and Campbell Industrial Park. The privately-run marina is the best in the islands, and provided whale-watching and swim-with-the-dolphin snorkel tours. When I saw whales breaching and spouting right from the walkways along the beach lagoons, I was sold!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
The peace, tranquility, and beauty of Ko Olina inspires awe every time I seek a getaway from the hustle and bustle of town. The paved walkways and tree-lined streets invite you to get outside and walk, bike, or take a leisurely swim in one of the four uncrowded lagoons. The first time I took my family to the beach at Ko Olina, a large green sea turtle swam right past us, totally ignoring us as it ate its dinner from the algae-coated rocks edging the lagoon. Two smaller natural lagoons on the west end of the resort, are home to the Paradise Cove luau & the James Campbell estate of Lanikuhonua. The sunsets are spectacular & I hope I'll see whales, turtles, or the very rare and endangered Hawaiian monk seal, who love to sun themselves and nap on quiet sandy beaches. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law watched the sunset from a different lagoon for 5 nights, trying to judge which one was the best, but they said all of them were beautiful!
