This clean comfortable 2 bedroom/ 2 bath redecorated condo is in beautiful Coachella Valley. It's on the prettiest drive in Palm Spgs- Farrell Dr; between Mesquite Ave & Ramon Rd. It's lined with Palm trees and flanked by the golf course with panoramic views of the Mtn range. It's on a quiet cul-de-sac next to a bubbling fountain. It's conveniently located next to the swimming pool. It's a ground floor end unit, very private and has unobstructed views of the mountains.
It is tastefully decorated in an upscale Western Rustico flair with
cowboys/ rooster collection/ sunflowers and a few fun antiques. Hence, the Colorado owners have named it Remington Ridge. AKA: R & R- Rest and Relaxation! The extra windows give the unit an added bright sunny feel.
So afford yourself some R & R, while at 'Home on the Range.'
You will appreciate the new furniture, furnishings, carpet, window coverings, bedding, linens, and much more. The decorator warm harvest colors throughout are inviting and soothing. Relax in the living room in the overstuffed La-z-boy recliner while watching the NEW 42' INTERNET HDTV, with BLU-RAY PLAYER. There is a queen sofa-sleeper and a desk with free High Speed wireless Internet. The master bedroom has an expensive top-of-the-line pillow top/memory foam King bed, a wall mounted 26' flat screen TV/DVD and a full bath. The beds are made and 6 sets of towels are out, plus pool towels. A blow dryer is provided. The condo could be described as 'attention to detail.' It's updated and new inventory added each year.
The guest bedroom has a queen size pillow top bed, 26' TV/ DVD and a small private deck with vintage yellow metal table and 2 chairs. There is a full bath in the hallway. The kitchen is tiled, has plenty of cupboard and countertop space and is fully/ well-equipped. There are new kitchen appliances. The dining room, also tiled, is bright, open and spacious. The table seats 4, but there are extra chairs. The windows and decks ensure grand views of the mountains. The large deck can be accessed via the living room or master bedroom
This deck is secured by a wrought iron enclosure; one of a few grandfathered-in by the Mesquite CC HOA. It looks out to the pool and the grassy courtyard. It has a classy six person rectangular patio set and a large stainless steel gas grill. The laundry room is on this patio and has a full size washer and dryer. This unit is located in the background in the pool photo. All pools have lounge chairs and patio tables. At the perimeter of the condo, is a wonderful walking path around the golf course. We have provided 2 bikes and 3 tennis rackets. This Phase has 3 tennis courts. This complex has mature well maintained landscaping and is a gated community. We are a SHOES OFF UNIT. We also provide slippers : )

My husband and i arrived at the condo 2 days before we were able to pick up our Marine son from 29 palms for his 4 day leave. We were able to get settled, relax, and get our bearings as we are from new york and was our first time in sunny california.After arriving and being more than pleasantly surprised and overjoyed with our condo, and the entire grounds,my husband remarked i had hit this rental out of the park!!! Everything was perfect, and just what was described, and pictured, only better because we were there! The master bed...OMG....i now will be saving to purchase this mattress,....comfy..dreamy..perfect! Everything was thought of ....impeccably clean, and very well organized..if anyone is offended over the notes...get over it! It was welcoming to know how, why, and where things were and worked. A lot of care and love was put into this home, and i would hope all would appreciate that, and respect Mike and Amys efferets. After retrieving our son from his base, and getting him a bite to eat,as he was in night classes, we brought him to the house and despite him being exhausted, he nodded a delighted approval....we shooed him off to get some rest at 2:30pm friday( as he had been up since 6pm thursday),he went to "his room" and slept till sat morning!!! It was quiet..dark from the room darkening shades...cool from the air conditioning...and a queen size comfy bed to sleep on!!!!! To have our son enjoy the little comforts of home in a far away place other than our home in n.y. was the most rewarding for us, his mom and dad to see. To be able to go to a refrigerator.. .watch t.v.... curled up on the couch... relax in the pool/jacuzzi.. was more than anyone could ask for.. For 4 short days i was able to put aside the fact our 20 year old son is a United States Marine..he was just our son.... we joked..laughed..enjoyed the scenery,visited tourists spots,ate at the many fine restaurants, and he relaxed and enjoyed his time also. Mike and Amy thank you so very much for allowing us to share this experience..for the insight to open up your beautiful home for others to share is such a blessing.You have given us a lifetime of wonderful memories, and for that we will be eternally grateful.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

My husband and I have spent our annual Palm Springs vacation in this condo for the past six years (2005-2010) and we are planning on going there again this year (2011). We have always enjoyed the amenities and hominess of this unit. The owners have provided a well maintained "home away from home" for us with their attention to detail and the comfortable furnishings. We love the western theme! The unit is centrally located close to shopping, restaurants and golf courses. (Of course, the Mesquite Country Club is part of the complex). It is always a relaxing time for us to kick back and do nothing if we want. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are just steps out the front door and the gas barbeque is just waiting on the patio to be used. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone who enjoys a get-away but wants the comforts of home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

I rented Michael and Amy's wonderful condo for the month of December 2010. I enjoyed the western theme, which was very tastefully done. A big thank you to the owners for the helpful instruction left within the suite, it took the guess work out of where one would find things, how they worked, plus many hints and tips on how to have a great time in Palm Springs. My family and I will defenatly be renting the condo again next year. Amy and Michael thank you for sharing your wonderful home with me. It truly felt like a home rather than a glorified hotel suite. You go above and beyond when you leave all the staples that a renter could require, not just salt and pepper but all spices, mayo, catsup, mustard etc. I am not used to having those things supplied, it made cooking much easier and more enjoyable. Bye the way the BBQ makes great ribs. Thanks again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Be advised that this condo comes with a cowboy theme and more rules than anyone on vacation would care to take on! My girlfriends and I just returned after a one week stay at the Cowboy Condo. After spending the first 7 hours trying to get into the front gate, we finally received a key. The owner said she had mailed us the key, then told us she didn't because she was too busy! We were told to "just follow another car through the gate"! We waited too long, then had to call the owner in Colorado! We finally received a key 7 hours later, and we had paid extra for early check in! There are lists of rules posted throughout the condo, including the walls and light switches. We chose to make the best of things and really enjoyed Palm Springs. We will NEVER rent this condo again, but we will rent the unit above us.
