Take pleasure in our newly remodeled condo including upgraded amenities! This unit is located on the third (top) floor which affords views of the San Miguel River, Telluride ski area, canyon falls and towering peaks, all from the front porch and rear balcony.
Relax in our quiet condo with a queen pillow top bed, leather couch (converts to a queen bed), flat screen televisions, and private balcony. Skiers and snowboarders have lift access 1 block away. At the end of the day, ski directly back to the condo. Hikers and bikers also have access to trails right from the property. At the end of your busy vacation day, relax by the only year-round pool and hot tub in Telluride just steps away from the San Miguel River.
Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. If you would like to travel to Mountain Village the gondola is a short walk or you may catch the Galloping Goose (free shuttle) that comes by the Viking Lodge frequently. The Galloping Goose will also be happy to take you to other locations in town as well. For an evening stroll or to access downtown, the river trail is another great option!

I had a wonderful stay at the Viking Lodge! The location is unbeatable. The condo was beautiful and perfectly clean. It was stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, and even coffee (thank you)! I would absolutely recommend it and hope to be back for a longer stay in the future.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Look no further, this is the place you want to be! Walk to town or the moutain it is the perfect location. The condo is adorable, comfortable and very well maintained. Great decor, clean and well equipped- we didn't want to leave and will be back for sure!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

The owner, Kristin, was very responsive and made it incredibly easy to arrange our travel plans. The property is super cute, clean and newly remodeled. We loved that it had everything we needed to make breakfast before heading out to ski for the day. Situated very conveniently next to restaurants, the Gondola and lifts and only a couple blocks from the main drag. We're looking forward to coming back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed here during the Telluride Film Festival and it was the perfect location for all our cinematic fun! We just parked the car for the weekend and very conveniently walked everywhere or rode the gondola. This condo is really gorgeous too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Telluride and our stay in this condo unit. It is perfectly located within walking distance of central Telluride, but is removed from the central business area. We loved the view of the ski hill and the lovely San Miguel river from the balcony. The unit is very clean and well maintained and the owners were pleasant and easy to deal with. Our family found this unit to be the perfect Basecamp for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. The location was ideal - an easy walk to Town Park along the beautiful river trail - but just far emough away to ensure peace and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and functionally designed, but could benefit from a few more knives. The view from the deck over the river and towards he gondola was great, and the beds quite comfy. The only thing that would have been nice would have been a stereo or I-Pod docking station so we could have enjoyed music while hanging out. Kristin was easy to work with and prompt in all communication. We will defintely stay here again the next time we are in Telluride.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family had a great experience while on spring break vacation staying at the Hays Residence at Viking Lodge. Conveniently located in the town of Telluride, we were just a short walk away from shopping and especially close to Lift 7 which we found this to be a perfect choice. The condo is like new with every amenity and plenty of room - and did I mention the views! Kristin was a pleasure to work with both setting up our reservation and during our stay. We will definately recommend this condo to our friends and family and certainly stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family and I stayed at this lovely Telluride condo for two nights and it had almost everything we needed. It was within walking distance to everything and there was a nice supply of linens, dishes, and comfortable space for our stay. The view from the patio during the day, is beyond beautiful! The property owner Kristin, was also very friendly and helpful. She made our vacation rental stay, a seamless one! Totally enjoyed our stay at Kristin's condo and being first time users of Homeaway, very happy to report that everything was just as presented! Kristin was easy to work with and condo is beautiful as well as excellenty located. Truly is a river running behind it. Only downside is that if too many people find out about it, might not be available the next time we're in Telluride!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The condo at Viking Lodge was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was clean and modern. It was great to be able to cook a few meals. We were very happy with the sleeping arrangements. The beds were comfortable and again everything was very clean. Our 10 and 12 year old really loved the flat screen tvs at the foot of their bunks. Kristen was very helpful and patient answering my questions. I would love to visit Telluride again and I would love to stay in this condo. I most certainly recommend this property. If you are a cycling enthusiast, Telluride is a great place to visit. If you ride a mountain bike, you can load your bike onto the gondola (which is free, by the way), ride up, and then there are numerous trails down. There are even a few paved trails for road bikes. We loved being outdoors, walking, hiking, and biking. Telluride is a beautiful place and we enjoyed every minute we were there.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

About the owner: We came to Telluride in 2000 for our honeymoon and fell in love with this place. We now reside in Durango, but have been frequenting the Telluride area for several years now. We love to ski, snowboard, kite ski, xc ski, hike, mountain and road bike. This is definitely such a great place to do all of these things and more!

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This location is perfect for all seasons. We enjoy falling asleep to the sound of the river on summer nights. The balcony provides beautiful views of the changing Aspen in the fall. During the winter we enjoy the close proximity of the chairlift and the ability to ski right back to the condo at the end of the day. In the spring when the water is flowing fast, we take in views of several waterfalls in the canyon. Finally, we love leaving the car parked for a week at a time, since we can walk or ride our bikes everywhere!
