  What an awesome place to stay! My friend and I spent two weeks at the North Shore Beach Cabana and enjoyed every minute of it. The cabana is decorated with a beach atmosphere , it is comfortable and inviting. The landscape gives the feeling of privacy in the front yard and in back by the pool. There is so much to do in the area that we were out and about much of the time. The property manager and the owners are great to work with and will answer any question in a timely manner. We are staying again next year and will dedicate more time to staying at the cabana to enjoy the pool, beach and relaxing surrounding.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

  Our family has stayed three times at this home. Every stay has been wonderful! The pool, grill and outdoor seating area are outstanding. The beach is just a short walk from the home and is wonderfully quiet. The beach toys and chairs on site are an added bonus. Sadly, the home is not available during our spring break this year, but we hope to stay again some time in the future. Also, the concierge is the best...tremendously helpful!

  We were looking for a quiet, restful retreat with beautiful beaches and we found it here! The home is truly charming, extremely comfortable and clean! The location is perfectly located at the north end of the key; far enough from the hussle and bustle, yet just mere minutes from shopping/dining. We took full advantage of gorgeous sunrises and lovely sunsets from the cottage's front and rear decks as well as the sugar sand beaches just a few minutes walk from the cottage. The private pool is wonderful and surrounded with beautiful, lush landscaping where butterfiles happily frolic. The owners of the property and their amazing conceirge are extremely responsive, helpful and accomodating. If you are looking for the perfect beach retreat, you've found it right here! We will definitely be repeat guests!

  My family of five – children 11, 9 and 4 - stayed here the third week of July 2012. After a flight from Portugal, a long week at Disney & other parks, this is the ideal place to “recover”! It’s a perfect place to relax and we all spent a nice time. The house is beautiful and very well located. Spacious, perfectly decorated, has everything you need and just a 2m walk from the beach. And a very helpful and friendly concierge. Don’t miss a late afternoon walk at the beach and a boat rental (5ms drive from the cabana), another way to see the beauty of Anna Maria Island and Longboatkey. Ideal for couples, family with small children and beach lovers.

  If you are looking for a very comfortable, quite, safe and well appointed "beach house", look no further. This place is perfect! The backyard has a deck with retractable awning to shade you from the warm Florida sun and a brand new well maintained pool, w/toys, in a lush tropical setting. Miles of white sandy uncrowded beach is just 300 yards to the West. Your concierge will exceed your expectations!

  My family of four stayed here the first week ok June 2012 (children are 12 and 14). From the very first contact with the concierge our experience was wonderful. The picutes of the cottage are very accurate, but can't show the comfort and atmoshere. There was a day of bad weather and we took full advantage of the board games and video games provided. The pool and garden area are very private and some of our favorite memories of our vacation were made just playing here. The beach is a very short walk and was not crowded at all. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, a beach bag and beach towels provided. We also spent time at Mote aquarium and Lido Key (about 30 min away). St. Armand's circle was also a great experience. Coquina Beach and Harry's are also some great places to visit and these are close to the cottage. The purpose of our vacation was just to relax and this was the perfect place. However, there are also lots of activities close by and many things to do. Our experience was amazing and I would highly recommend this listing.

  Between the photos and the description of this cottage, we had to give it a try. We were absolutely so pleased at how clean, comfortable and perfect this place was for us and our 3 1/2 year old. The short walk to the beach was one of our favorite destinations. The beach was never crowded, loud, etc. We also spent plenty of time at the pool. Perfect size, nice and private, warm! The cottage and area are perfect for those who are looking to get away and RELAX. We couldn't have been more pleased-- Thanks and hope to be back VERY soon!!!!!!!!!

  We spent a week here after a busy week at Disney and it was just what we needed! The cabana exceeded our expectations - the photos don't do it justice. It was spotlessly clean; the concierge was very helpful; the facilities provided were of a very high standard and the area with the local white sandy beach was truly stunning. As a family of four - two parents, one six year old and a grandma, the cabana had all the facilities we needed. The pool was lovely and surrounded by the landscaped gardens, it was a real retreat. We would certainly look to return but we'd spend two weeks in Longboat Keys instead!

  This is our 4th year!!! What an enjoyable place to rest, relax on the deck in sun or the shade of the awning, swim in the heated pool, sit and enjoy the quiet, walk on the nearby beach and do some interesting shopping at St Armands circle just a short ride away. One can enjoy the very pleasant and quiet surroundings right out the back door with family, friends, children and grandchildren!! We find the cottage truly charming-- we spend the month of March there. Lunch and dinner on the deck under the umbrella is very enjoyable! The cottage in clean, well appointed and a delight!

  This beautiful house is exactly what you see in the pictures and more...Great location, steps away from the white sand beach, very quiet area next to Anna Maria Island if you want more 'action'. The concierge was very helpful and the minute with arrived he made us feel right at home. The house is very clean and well decorated, it also has everything you need; BBQ, chairs for the beach, umbrellas, toys for the pool..In the morning we would go jogging, jump in the pool and finally enjoyed our coffees surrounded by beautiful luscious tropical landscape. You can walk to a nice restaurant with a great terrace by the bay or drive a few minutes to a beach restaurant. Everything is near.. If you want a relaxing getaway with a perfect beach steps away with family or friends - this place is perfect.
