The property is on an excellent , friendly community, with a great golf course, and Tennis courts, a river boat shuttle to Lovers Key, an unspoilt nature reserve with a beatiful beach. The condo is well maintained , and very clean. Within a 5 mile radius there are a multitude of stores, restaurants and other amenities. The owners are a delightful couple.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

7/9/2010 - The best words to describe this condo are "beautiful surroundings and relaxing." While visiting, I enjoyed my morning runs around the lovely landscaped walkways. I met friendly neighbors (residents) who were walking their dogs and were quick to say hello, but allowed me to continue my exercising unimpeded. The pool area was comfortable, easy to navigate, and well-maintained. The condo itself is decorated in lovely shades of creams and blues, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The location is convenient to all aspects of living and vacationing needs, from marketing, shopping, and art fairs, to entertainment and sunset viewing on nearby beaches. About the owner: Doctors Marty and Suzi Mandel reside in Northeast Ohio, where Marty practices endocrinology and Suzi engages in music therapy research. They are the proud grandparents of two young grandsons, with a third boy expected very soon.
Why the Owner Chose Island Sound II:
We selected this condo because it was located between Naples and Ft Myers, close to the airport, easy access to the Gulf, walking distance to pool. Here in Pelican Sound, the amenities are great in number. There are many great restaurants, shopping and other entertainment close by.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We enjoy all of the benefits in the community and outside the community but it is very relaxing at the condo. The condo has an open style living area and backs to a private, serene view. Watching the colorful sunsets every night from our lanai is one of our favorite things.
