The Home
The house is a beautiful, new custom log home of 1800 square feet. It was finished by true craftsmen with hand done, artistic touches everywhere. It has 2 bedrooms; a spacious master suite upstairs with a very comfortable king size bed, a spectacular view of the mountains and it's own private deck out the double glass doors. The downstairs bedroom is warm and cozy with a comfy queen size bed and a wonderful view of the meadow.
In springtime the meadow is covered in yellow and purple wildflowers. Everyday you can see deer, fox, bald eagles, sand hill cranes, osprey, great blue herons and other wildlife that frequent the meadow. You may see an elk one morning while enjoying your breakfast on the deck outside. There is also a fold out sofa in the living room that sleeps two and and a fold out futon couch for two and a twin bed in an all purpose room.
There are two full, roomy bathrooms, each with it's own bathtub and shower. The upstairs bath features a cast iron claw foot tub facing a window where you can watch the pine and aspen trees sway in the breeze while you soak. Very relaxing. The downstairs has beautiful cherry wood floors, a roomy modern kitchen, open living and dining room, a pot belly propane stove and a washer/dryer closet.
Just off the living room there is a large screened in porch where you can swing in the hammock, dine outdoors, or just sit and watch the sunsets and the wildlife go by. Out the dining room door is a big redwood deck to sit on if you prefer the sun on your face. It is truly a special place.

MY family and I stayed at this lovely cabin while in McCall for winter carnival. It is very comfortable, nice and we all had a good time! It is out of town a ways and off the beaten path making it very nice for us and it has all the amenities of home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This was such a wonderful place to stay for our family get together. Everything was top notch, the owner was so nice and easy to work with, and we highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a quality get away experience. Can't wait to return next year. This cabin was so perfect, some friends and I went up for the Winter Carnival and loved how it was very close to McCall. It is the perfect cabins get away back in the woods. It is very cozy and gorgeous views from every window. There was enough room for all of us and the master bedroom is to die for. If you’re looking for the perfect weekend getaway, this is the place to go. It’s is five minutes from McCall and close to the beautiful Gold Fork Hot springs. It’s perfect for couples, family vacation or a simple girl’s weekend. So thankful we were able to rent it and will definitely do so in the future.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My family and I stayed at this lovely cabin over the Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The cabin is situated in a wooded area just a few minutes South of McCall, but you feel miles and miles away. The cabin is so cozy, that if you choose the cabin alone could be your destination with very little reason to leave. The screened in porch is wonderful to sit and relax in - I think we spent most of our time out there. We also walked down to the river and in the wooded & grassy areas all around the cabin. I loved that although there are neighbors all around, when you are at the cabin you can't see even one! The kitchen is well equipped and made staying in for most of our meals very easy and enjoyable. Nothing about this cabin felt like a rental or temporary living space...It felt like a home, or a friends home. We go to the McCall area often and do enjoy seeing the town and surrounding areas so we did get out and explore a bit. Getting into McCall was easy and short as was Gold Fork Hot Springs. If you are looking for a relaxing wonderful time for your self or with your family...look no further, you've found it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

The owner was great. She gave detailed directions and met us and got us situated. The cabin is spacious and has the rustic style my family and I were looking for but with the modern amenities of a dishwasher, heat, etc. The cabin is situated on a large, secluded plot of land just outside of McCall. There is a great river a short walk away that had ideal swimming conditions for kids and adults. The fire pit was perfect for s'mores and stargazing. After staying here, I would never stay elsewhere in McCall. It was an absolute dream.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Hi there; I am a single 55 year old woman, I am a professional photographic portrait artist and I own my own studio business. My interests include art, travel, oil painting, photography, hiking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, seeing the world and meeting new people. I am extremely responsible and am looking to rent to people who will take care of my little place in paradise as I would take care of theirs. It is possible for me to meet you at the airport and get you situated for your stay.
Why the Owner Chose McCall:
My Home is located between Brundage Mountain Ski resort, the resort town of McCall, Idaho, (which is right on Payette Lake) , and Tamarack Resort, the first all-season resort permitted in the U. S. in more than 25 years. Both ski resorts feature snow boarding, downhill, as well as Nordic skiing, snow shoeing, cat skiing and plenty of areas for telemark skiing. McCall hosted the Master World Cup of Nordic skiing, with athletes from all over the world participating, during the last week of January 2008. The McCall area is a land of great adventure for outdoor enthusiasts. It is a mountain biker's paradise, has all levels of hiking available, world class 5 whitewater rafting and kayaking on the Payette river, fishing and boating on Payette Lake in McCall and Cascade Lake in Donnelly/Cascade, first class golf courses, an indoor skating rink and wonderful places for rest and relaxation as well. My home is available any season of the year, each season sporting their different activities.

It is peaceful, quiet and sunny with gorgeous mountain views, a sky filled with the brightest of stars at night, and just a five minute walk to the Payette river. A beautiful place in the wilderness, yet only a ten minute drive to downtown McCall or downtown Donnelly. I have good helpful neighbors right nearby but far enough away to give you your privacy. Surrounded by endless scenic areas of Payette and Boise National Forests, crystalline alpine lakes filled with trout, mountain meadows, and in the cold months of the year, a winter wonderland with two downhill and alpine ski resorts.
