Our townhouse is located in a quiet residential block, three blocks from downtown Canmore restaurants, shops, cafes, art galleries, museums, pubs and one block from the Bow River, hiking/biking trails, parks, and playgrounds. It is a newly renovated three bedroom, 1,700 square foot unit and includes a large, open-concept living room with gas fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a dining area that accommodates eight people. Sleeping accommodations include three bedrooms (master bedroom with queen bed, second bedroom with queen bed and third bedroom with double and twin bunk bed) and a double futon in the loft. In addition the loft has TV, DVD and internet. Large bathroom with separate bath-tub and shower stall on the lower level and the half bathroom on upper level complete the unit. An extra large deck includes deck furniture and gas barbecue. In addition, there is a new washer and dryer in the unit and two surface parking stalls right outside the front door.
Our home is pet-free and smoke-free.
Canmore entices skiers and boarders in the winter, with close proximity to Sunshine, Lake Louise, Mount Norquay, and Naskiska ski resorts. Cross-country skiers can enjoy the world class Canmore Nordic Centre, built for the 1988 Olympics. For the non-skiers, Canmore offers skating, ice fishing, and dog sledding tours. During the summer months, Canmore offers numerous golf courses, hiking/biking trails, helicopter tours, back-country touring, cave tours (spelunking), rock climbing, and access to Bow River canoeing, fishing and fly-fishing. After an active day, visit one of the Canmore massage and spa centres.
Excellent shopping and restaurants are also found in the town of Canmore.
Canmore is fifteen minutes from Banff, one hour from Calgary and a 3 1/2 hour drive from Edmonton.
