    This beautiful and comfortable condo has everything you need.The kitchen is clean and well equipped and the washer and dryer are great for those who travel light. It is also very conveniently located...Grocery stores (Safeway, Longs Drug), Kaanapali Beach and Luhaina are 5-10 min drive away. We had a really great time staying here. The PDF that Todd sent me before we set off for the trip is very very helpful. It contains a lot valuable information about shopping, activities, driving directions, etc in Maui. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

    Spent 9 days in this wonderful place. Has everything you need and is very conveniently located -- highly recommend. Rented scooters and traveled the cliff road. Recommend that too.

    Loved our stay here! Perfect place well stocked, very clean and modern. Very serene location. Ran everyday from our condo to Kapalua, it was wonderful... Todd couldnt be more accomodating. Will definitely be back. All the extras included are just an added bonus.

    I recently stayed at this Condo in Kahana with my wife and 2 daughters (ages 5 and 2) and we loved it! It is a great location, just 5 mins drive past Kaanapali Beach area and 10 mins from Lahaina. The pictures are very accurate, it is as beautiful as it looks! Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided. The kitchen is well equipped, and having a waher and dryer was a huge benefit. We stopped in Lahaina at Safeway when we arrived and stocked up with groceries for the week. Makes a huge difference being able to cook some of your meals in, especially when you have kids. If you eat out every meal you can expect to spend at least $50/meal for a family of 4. Huge savings making just a few dinners, having leftovers for lunch, and starting your day with breakfast on the lanai! Used the BBQ 2 nights and never had to wait for a turn or anything. Also nice were the provided "extras" like the paddleboard and kayak. I'm not sure what happened to Kahana Beach that is directly across the street. When we were here it was not existant as the water was up to the sea wall the whole time and no sand was showing. Just a short walk from the entrance, maybe 200 yards or so to the right there was access to another nice beach we took the kayak and paddleboard to however. With kids, Honokowai Beach Park is perfect. It's just 1.5 miles out the entrance to the left. Great tidepools and very safe, no waves washing the kids away and there is a playground...If you do go over the reef into the little channel there is a strong current though. The grounds of the condo complex are very well maintained and clean. The beds were super comfortable as well, great nights sleep. The owner, Todd, is very promt in returning emails with any questions and was a breeze to work with. Overall, this is a great value for the price. We had the opportunity to look inside another unit here and with the updates, this unit was MUCH nicer. We look forward to staying here again sometime!

The beach itself has not changed, however the old beach access point adjacent to Pohailani may not be there due to sea wall construction.You can always access Kahana Beach through Hololani, which is right next to Pohailani.     Having stayed elsewhere in this complex we knew that it would be a quiet place to stay. The condo was very clean with a well equipped kitchen and apart from the uncomfortable couch the furnishings were luxurious and welcoming. Our only wish would be for a dishwasher (so much more hygienic). The recreation equipment provided went well beyond our expectations. This is a special place to stay that we would recommend to all and we certainly plan to stay at this condo again. Les & Nancy

    We were really pleased with our stay, the condo has lovely furnishings and was great for our family with young kids. Everything necessary was there, very clean. Great complex, nice and quiet. Only slight issues we had was that we couldn't get the fan in the living area to work and the key for the pool would not turn and unlock gate, so kids didn't get to swim, but this certainly did not ruin our stay. I would definately recommend this condo. Todd it was great to deal with you and thankyou for providing such a beautuful condo. Atchison family (Australia)

    We were pleasantly surprised to find this to be an up down duplex. with 1 quiet person living in the upstairs unit it felt more like a house than a condo. We found everything as described and intend to plan another stay in this unit in the future. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to all our friends. Snorkelling was my main reason to visit Maui and we used the equipment supplied with the unit in the many near by sites. The value was unbelievable compared to how much less you get for triple the price per night in near by hotels

    My sisters and I stayed at Todd's condo in West Maui for 4 nights and we absolutely loved it! It was spotless and beautifully appointed and we instantly felt comfortable. Everything was high end - from the stainless steel kitchen appliances, granite counter tops, hardwood floors, beautiful linens and beach towels. The location was great - a short drive to Lahaina and right across the street from a nice beach. The condo was equipped with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Todd went above and beyond to make us feel like treasured guests in his home. He was always eager to offer suggestions and answer all my questions. He truly embodied the spirit of "aloha" and made our visit so memorable because of his warmth and generosity. Definitely 5 stars!!!!!

    We are a retired couple. We stayed 15 nights. Property is very, very nice...newly remodeled and well equipped. Owners were helpful with all information, directions,and transaction details...entire property is beautiful and well described. Location convenient. King bed is terrific..kitchen grand..everything you might need is there...decorated well too. All photos are accurate and space was extremely clean. We did not use the sports equipment but it is all there as stated. Nice little library at the condo with excellent guide books...very helpful. We visited the crater and it's an interesting trip. Beaches great...got to swim with the turtles and tropical fish at Black Rock. Nice shade and facilities at Fleming beach. Pineapple Grill at Kapalua/Napili excellent food. Old Lahaina Luau a fun evening! Kobe Japanese in town very good Craft fair with local vendors in Lahaina on weekends was interesting. Napili Florist great if you need flowers for special occasion as we did. Drive North on Honoapiliiani Hwy. for good views and cliffs. Happy hours at beach restaurants are good for trying snacks and tropical drinks. Pool area is clean, well maintained, and private. Only issue we had was seating in living area...hideabed/sofa not at all comfortable for relaxing and watching TV...and there is no other inside seating except bar stools. I would suggest perhaps comfortable chairs in that room rather than that couch. Clothes dryer was out of order but there are commercial dryers nearby on the property so not a big deal. There are also several cats in the complex that seem to sit on the patio furniture...we flipped the cushions up at night so they didn't sit on the chairs. Also a clock in the Master bedroom would be good thing. Overall this condo was wonderful and we would definitely recommend it to anyone! By far the best condo we have found in all our travels. Congrats to the owners who have thought of almost everything visitors could need! Beautiful and welcoming! Quiet and relaxing!

    Review: This condo is an excellent choice and I highly recommend. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped with everything you may need. The owners have put a lot of effort in making sure you are comfortable. They have provided a paddle board, kayak, beach towels, boogie boards, bikes, snorkeling gear, coolers, ice packs, condiments for cooking, travel guides, etc. Though we never used it, there is also a flat screen TV and having internet connection was a big plus. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and the pool is right out the back door. It is also in a great location convenient to beaches, restaurants and shopping. I loved sitting out back for breakfast and in the evenings to wind down before bed. You can walk right across the street to watch the sun set. The washer and dryer were nice to have as well. You aren't going to find a better bargain than this and the owners were great to work with!

    This condo is wonderful! It's beautiful, clean, very comfortable, safe, in a great location and the owners were great to work with. It's really hard to call out one aspect as everything about it helped to make our vacation delightful.     It was our first vacation to Maui and we could not have been happier with our rental accommodations. If you are an independent traveler that hates resorts and likes to do a lot of activities, this place is perfect. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean. We were able to buy groceries and make simple meals to save cost. Bed was super comfortable and clean so we got a good night's rest every night. The place has AC which is important since it gets so hot. Our friend was rather miserable in their condo rental cause they only had a fan. The rental also had a cabinet of gear that we were able to use. We took out the paddle board, kayak, chairs and snorkeling gear to the nearest beach and had a blast. The complex has a nice and private pool as well. The location is pretty good. Convenient to small shops but it's not in the center of everything. If you have a car, it's not going to be a problem. Quiet and simple. Todd was very responsive and his neighbors upstairs were helpful and friendly as well. We would rent this condo again the next time we visit Maui.

    A beautifully remodeled condo with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, bamboo floors, nice furnishings, with air conditioning in both bedroom and living area. Clear directions were sent from Todd and we were close to the other families staying at Kahana Sunset for our son's wedding. Enjoyed our vacation and would definitely stay again.

    I highly recpmmend this property for its comfort & location. My husband & I loved the comfortable king size bed and the queen size pull out sofa was fine for the girls. Unfortunately we only had three days in Maui so we didn't get to use the property to its full advantage. However we found the location was great for checking out the west side of the Island. We visited the nearby beach and shopped/dined at Kahana Gateway (nearby mini mall). Owner was very helpful answering all questions & suggesting things to do. Great experience!

    The condo was clean, in great condition, and the bed was sooo soft! One of the best beaches in the world is only a short drive away and there are lots of extras at the condo to use (snorkeling equipment, kayak, stand-up paddleboard). We definitely recommend and will stay here again if we are back on Maui. Todd had excellent communication and provided easy directions and instructions.

    My husband and I stayed at this property for 10 nights and had a wonderful stay in Maui. The property was exactly as listed and included a number of amenities and thoughtful details such as spare umbrellas, reusable travel coffee cups and a flashlight (handy for those wanting to watch the sunrise at the crater!), coolers, ice packs, snorkel gear and more. It appears to have been newly renovated and was very well maintained and clean. The location is between a 15 - 20 minute drive to Lahaina and is also close to a few large supermarkets, beaches, restaurants and bars. All are within easy walking distance except for large supermarkets but there are also a few convenience stores with food pantry sections that are walkable. The property is also located a few streets away from the main highway so all major destinations are easy to get to by car. In addition, it's also located about a 5 min walk from the bus stop for those looking to get into Lahaina without a car (luaus include unlimited drinks!). The owner was extremely responsive and easy to deal with. This was our first time use HomeAway and I found it to be quite easy and efficient. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to stay in Maui!!

    My wife and I stayed at this unit. It is one of the better units we have stayed in any where on Maui, the recent renovation is very well done. The place was very clean and tidy when we arrived, no carpets. The complex is quite, a nice mix of locals and visitors. We had a small issue, the owner was extremely helpful and responsive. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a well priced hi quality unit. Al & Kathy

    The condo is ideally located in Kahana away from the hustle & bustle of the tourist area. It really shows pride of ownership in that everything is well appointed & in great shape. The owner also provides coolers, a kayak, stand up paddle board & bicycles to use at your leisure, something a resort hotel would charge extra for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will certainly be back.

    This condo was fantastic - a home away from home! We stayed here for 9 days and loved every minute. The condo is spacious and comfortable, with high end finishings. The location was perfect - just 10 minutes from Lahaina and 5 minutes from the Ka'anapali and Kapalua Resort areas. The owners of this condo were very helpful, providing suggestions of things to do prior to our arrival and once at the condo providing a variety of guide books and sports equipment. The owners provided use of a paddle board, snorkelling gear, boogie boards, a kayak, bikes and more. A wonderful place for a relaxing vacation! We'll definitely be returning.

    We started our trip to Maui by staying at Bob's place for our first couple of nights and were very pleased. The condo is close to everything and all pictures were as advertised. It's a beautiful condo with a very comfy bed and access to the snorkel gear and paddle board was much appreciated. We had a blast staying here and only wish we could have stayed longer.

    My wife and I stayed here for three nights Feb 6-Feb 9. It was the last three nights of a 9 night stay. All three of the places we stayed were nice in their own way, but this one was by far the cleanest, most modern and updated. While it wasn't right on the beach, it was close enough. And, the location was perfect for day trips. The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped. The living room was very comfortable and a great place rest after a day of sightseeing. Great place to stay. Highly recommended. Communication with Todd was perfect.

    My husband and I spent 10 days island hopping in Hawaii. We stayed at condo #151 in the town of Kahana from Feb. 2-6, 2012. This was my first experience with renting a vacation property. Upon arrival, my first opinion was the condo exterior was somewhat mediocre; but the inside is very nice! The condo was professionally cleaned before we arrived and we were greeted with a welcome note and box of Hawaiian macadamia nut chocolates on the kitchen island counter! I was pleasantly surprised to find the unit looked exactly like the photos shown; the kitchen was absolutely beautiful. We did not spend much time lounging around in the condo, as we were always on the go, hiking and discovering various hideaways on Maui; but our downtime at the condo was very comfortable. The bedroom was spacious. The bathroom has a washer/dryer, which I really appreciated. We traveled light, only carrying a backpack with four changes of clothes, so the ability to do laundry at the condo was a bonus! In addition to the sports equipment the condo owner has listed, there were also some novels available, for those who would like to do some reading while on vacation. There were several restaurants nearby, including Maui Brewing Co., Roy's, a steakhouse and McDonalds; all just behind the property. However, having a condo with a spacious kitchen, we were able to save some money by purchasing groceries and eating at “home”. It was nice to find storage containers in the cabinet to put cut fruit and leftovers in. We ate breakfast and dinner on the lanai (back porch) and enjoyed hearing the chirping birds. All the condo lanais open to a central grounds community area; space for kids to play, pools, and bbq grill for all to use. The landscaping into the property is lovely with flowering trees and tennis court. There is also a community room type area by the main office and entrance. The unit has a designated parking spot right out the front door. We also used the Maui Bus public transportation system while we were there. The bus conveniently stops one block down from the Pohailani entrance at the street corner. The owner, Todd, was very easy to correspond with and provided timely, helpful information. All considered, our time at condo #151 in Kahana was enjoyable and I would recommend this unit to others.

    It was good to see Maui again and this location was convenient to use as "home base." Unlike the massive, crowded resorts, this was a quiet place that felt like "home". Convenient location and clean.

    The kitchen was as beautiful as pictured in the listing. There is more pots and pans than I needed. I used the little cooler to bring my snacks and drinks to the golf course, which was handy. I didn't have to run out and buy one, it was provided. The new livingroom furnishings are very comfortable and pleasing to the eye. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud in the new king bed in the master bedroom. No rock hard hotel mattress here. The bathroom was well equipped with jetted tub and shower. Doing my laundry was a cinch with the stacking washer/dryer in the unit. An iron and built-in ironing board were located next to the washer/dryer. Everything was new or near new, which indicates pride of ownership by the owner. I used the Weber gas grill in the courtyard, to grill a steak rather than cook it indoors. No problem there. My communication with the owner was always handled In a timely and professional manner. We had each others cell #'s, questions I had were answered immediately. The location was close to golf, shopping, beach & West Maui Airport. Maui Brewing is a must visit spot. House brewed beers , root beer and good pub food can be enjoyed there.
