This beautiful property in Polson is at the south end of Flathead Lake, and has wrap-around views to the north, east, and west. It is a level lot, so no bushwhacking to get to the lake! A unique feature is a protected lagoon for boat mooring, and has a sandy beach for a protected swimming area that is visible from the kitchen. There is 500 feet of lakefront, an additional 250 feet of lagoon waterfront, and a huge lawn that borders the entire lakefront perimeter. It gets all-day morning and evening sun because of its north-facing orientation (most places get only one depending on whether east or west facing). The view of the islands in 'the narrows' is spectacular.
The kitchen was remodeled in 2007. It has all new appliances, including an enormous 48' fridge/freezer, copper main sink in corner and copper food prep sink in island, Wolff gas cooktop, and expansive granite countertops. The wrap-around counter makes the kitchen a natural entertainment center. The open kitchen, dining, and living great room includes a 52' high-def TV with cable/internet. The great room is warm and rich-feeling with the german beech cabinets, asian walnut floors, stone tile kitchen, redwood walls, and in-floor radiant heat.
The A-frame bedroom and master bedroom both have king beds and spectacular lake views. The A-frame is the original cabin, and is now a bedroom. It has a rustic feel with the high tongue-and-groove wood ceiling. The third bedroom faces the large lawn and has a king and a twin. A bunk room is the fourth bedroom, and includes a desk overlooking the lagoon.
The property is almost 1.5 acres, with plenty of space in the large yard to spread out and enjoy some privacy, and plenty of parking. The property is secluded due to its corner location, yet is only four minutes from Polson, and has paved roads to the property (no dirt roads!). The golf course club house is 0.9 miles up Bayview Drive. The front nine holes pass within a few hundred yards of the house.

About the owner: I am a fourth-generation Montanan, and love the entire western Montana Rocky Mountain corridor. Flathead Lake is one of it's jewels. My property is at the tip of 'Slack Point', and has views to the north, west, and east with its corner location. Note: click on 'satellite' or 'hybrid' to see it in living color!
Why the Owner Chose Polson:
My family came to Polson in 1910, when Polson was opened to homesteading. This property has been in the family since 1975.
